The way Via does surge pricing, it's almost as bad as Uber and Lyft, but it can't even drop me off at my door. It doesn't offer ANY discounts, or special deals. I've noticed that often the single ri... See more

It would be nice if the driver had pickup notes
Cars tend to arrive later than promised.
It used to be a great service, now it is poor!
It used to be a GREAT service, but now it can be painful. The cars constantly cancelled on you, the routing are bad and many times the drivers are less friendly than in Lift.
In addition, they are charging very different rate for the same route depending who request it. I checked it with my husband, he always get a cheaper rate than myself for the exact same route.
Finally, their price has increased a lot. It is not worthy.
The service of the drivers is really good

Suddenly in the middle of a ride my destination is changed by the company and I find my selfelf having to walk a very long block in the 90 degree heat. it has happened a few times. Not good !!!!!
Via - A Refreshing Change
I love having options & Via entering the transportation market is just what we New Yorkers need. Every driver I've had was professional and courteous. And, their vehicles are so clean & comfortable. Keep up the great work!
Could be so much better
I use Via a lot because the price is competitive but am increasingly frustrated by how often their arrival times are completely wrong. I’ll get a notification that the driver has arrived...but noone shows up for another 5min+. Even before 6am with no traffic times are way off. Drivers don’t pick up if you call. Routes are mostly sensible but sometimes are completely silly. There is a lot of room to improve.
The app is seriously flawed
The app is seriously flawed. It crashes constantly. I lose rides, get told the ride somehow disappeared, or the thing won't even load in the first place. Tonight your app kept crashing on the driver too so he kept losing his GPS map.
It is also confusing. Tonight I'm told a driver is coming. Then he isn't so another driver is coming. Then that driver isn't coming. I'm told not to worry about a cancellation fee, but then see the first driver is coming. It took 30 minutes between first trying to get a driver/car and the driver picking me up.
The support is also not great. If I ask more than one question, only one will be answered. I get given policy rather than an email response trying to help me with my situation. There seems to be only support in email so forget about trying to get help in any timely manner when you are stuck somewhere.

We are always confident with Via drivers.Via drivers are some of the best and nicest New Yorkers. And of course they are reliable and their cars are comfortable..

The van stalled at least three times during our trip, including on the Hudson Parkway.he also made the woman before me get out on the side of the van with incoming traffic with a green light. On top of all the swerving, this was a very unsafe ride.
Brilliant concept well implemented
Brilliant concept very well implemented. Share a ride with a low fixed price. Everyone walks just a little bit (half a block?) to be at a main thoroughfare so the car does not spend time winding down side streets. “Virtual bus stop”. Get there fast for a fraction the cost of taxi or Uber. Mostly excellent cars and drivers. In my experience it works great!
Your service is amazing
Your service is amazing, if a car does not arrive another is sent immediately. The price is extremely helpful. Also the drop off being no more then 2 blocks is very important. (A few times they were off by 4 blocks) hopefully that won't happen again. Think you guys are the bomb!
Great Customer Service!
I like that Via has rules that limit other passengers from making phone calls or behaving rudely in cars. It has made sharing a ride in a crazy city like NYC very enjoyable.
The part I like most about Via is that if you have a bad experience with a driver, they take it seriously and always look for ways to make it up to you. I've been using Via for slightly over a year now. I dumped Uber only after a couple of rides with Via and have still not been let down yet. I ask them to keep up the great customer experience!
Excellent service
Anthony was great
Used to be 5 stars
Used to be 5 stars, but availability of cars is down and pricing is up. This is no longer a differentiated service, hence the average rating. Still find the via routing best of al the ride share options, however.
