I was put onto Rift by a work colleague…
I was put onto Rift by a work colleague who has been using them for several years. I was claiming back over 4years so the process did take some time with mileage and food claims. The staff were very helpful and we got there in the end and I eventually got a refund.
Whilst nothing else changed on my anticipated salary for this year my tax code has and I find I’m going to be paying more tax! I’m beginning to wonder was it all worth it.
To cut a long story short Rift are good at what they do my tax issues are complex due to pensions so don’t let this review put you off using them for your refunds.

Great service, slightly hefty fee
I had Sam O’Brien as my tax specialist and he was very helpful with talking me through the process and explaining the details.
The fee for the service can work out to be quite high sometimes with me only receiving £37 of a £139 refund but other than that, amazing service.

Poor communication from my tax specialist couldn’t understand her most of the time. Didn’t explain all the new tax law changes in any details felt like my refund was just rushed through. Not impressed that all

Slow to start but quick once advisor was appointed
The start of this years claim was very slow. Once this was picked up with an advisor it went quickly.
