My Awesome Car

Got a Hybrid Toyota Corolla. Clean, comfortable and great gas mileage. Had the car until May 6. Retuning it today. The assistant at the kiosk was great, efficient and friendly. Expecting my final bill to be accurate. Will use again

dont' use them

dont' use them - they won't accept your insurance and force you to buy 3rd party insurance so you could have used a national chain at the airport for the same price. they are at remote lot and dont' answer there phone. it was a zoom call agent there is no one there.

There are several possible reasons for this, including the possibility that the coverage provided by your policy did not meet the required minimum. While customers are not obligated to purchase insurance from us, if a customer's existing coverage does not meet the necessary requirements and they still wish to proceed with the rental, insurance will be offered at that time.
With regards to the virtual assistance operating at this location, we do understand that this type of contactless rental service is not for everyone and we do receive many mixed reviews, however we see a real future in this type of service, but, like all new ideas it may take some time getting used too.

I don't recommend at all this car…

I don't recommend at all this car rental. Charges are huge at the end. Everything is fine until you get the bill. Don't use it!!!!

Complete Scam at LAX - go to Fox or other

Complete Scam! I was connected to them via Wisecars which came up with the lowest LAX area rental on Expedia. Wisecars will also get a bad review for connecting me to them. LAX's Right-cars is a tiny makeshift office in the lobby of a nearby LAX hotel. My personal car insurance covers rentals, and I showed them the policy details. They said they couldn't accept it because my USAA coverage renews quarterly, and it had renewed within 45 days from the rental. WTF? I have had that insurance for decades, but the auto-renewal is too recent??? They would charge me double my quoted rate for the rental to include their insurance, so I cancelled. I complained to Expedia, and they suggest Fox, so I walked down the street to Fox, and got a better car with no insurance issue at an even lower rate. Do not rent from these scammers - go to Fox, or other.

Billed $250 extra

So I changed my review because after I was asked to write it, I received a bill for $250 on top of the amount that I had already paid. When I booked it, I thought it was too good to be true because it was like $12 a day. Then I got to the counter and it was an extra maybe $15 a day making it about $30 a day which still seemed reasonable, but I didn’t like that they Hide the fees. Then a week later I was hit with the extra $250 charge so for the four days it made it come out to almost $90 a day for a beat up Corolla . I really wanted to support this company until they screwed me. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card. Stay away !!

SCAM COMPANY!

SCAM COMPANY!. Even if you prepaid, take the small loss, go back to the airport and rent from a legit company. These people are lower than the scum at the bottom of my trash.

Scam do not trust them

The company is a scam. They initially gave me an old, unreliable, damaged lower category car with the excuse that they were busy and had nothing else to give me. When I refused to accept it they offered me an uninsured, untaxed and without legal reg plates alternative. When I didn't accept it either and cancelled the booking they refused to give me my money back. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Car hire was very reasonable

Car hire was very reasonable, car had multiple scratches but staff ensured that video I took on collection of the car captured all of these. No hard sell for extra insurance, they only clarified terms and conditions.
Christina and Paul were very helpful when we returned the car and assisted us to get to Airport departures.

With regards to the vehicle condition, please note that these are rental cars and out on rent 52 weeks of the year. Customers may receive a vehicle with a few dents and scratches however this does not affect the mechanics of the vehicle and customers are advised to take photo's of any pre-existing damage for their own records. All vehicles are regularly serviced.

Over 10,000 km of Trouble-Free Driving – Incredible Car Hire!

You won’t regret hiring car from here! I live in Australia so my initial contact was by email. From the enquiry, communication, pick up and drop off it was one smooth sailing! My hire car request was quite unique as I needed vehicle for about 40 days and was planning to drive roughly 10,000 km. That mileage proved to be a real problem at other car rental companies but not here. I got fair offer and guy’s stand by it! I was give almost new Skoda Kodiaq Sportline TDi which had only 4,000 km on the odometer. I drove through 14 countries and the only issue I had that I had to top up motor oil but that was understandable as it was literally new car. I just can’t praise these guys enough! This will be my only place I’ll ever hire car when I’ll be visiting Europe.

I'd rent again

The instructions for the shuttle to off airport parking were clear and straight forward. Once at the rental booth I was a bit confused now seeing a live agent. But once I found the right place to touch the computer and Douglas came on it was just like being in front of an agent. The process was smooth and easy. The only thing that could make things more efficient would be something to indicate where to start once in front of the computer.

Absolutely AWFUL

Absolutely AWFUL! I rented a car from this scam of a company in March 2025 and I STILL haven’t gotten my security deposit back. I can’t even find a working phone number to call them to get this remedied. Hidden fees, no humans to interact with. Absolutely awful!

Deposits are held by pre-authorisation against the customers credit card, all pre-authorisations are temporary and expire usually within 14 days. If after this period the customer can still see a pending charge to their card they should contact their card supplier to have it removed.

I would give one star but this company…

I would give one star but this company is terrible. Thought we were getting a bargain but actually the worst company. Duped us by making us pay for insurance otherwise everything our fault.

Could you please clarify why you feel you were misled into purchasing insurance? Bookings from this location include basic insurance and require a security deposit. Deposits can only be taken from a credit card in the name of the main driver.

If a customer does not have a credit card, they are offered the option to purchase local insurance, which reduces the excess to zero and lowers the required deposit amount.

To help us understand your situation better, could you confirm whether you had a credit card available for the deposit, or if there was another reason the insurance was offered to you?

I was charged twice

I was charged twice. My daughter booked the rental through Priceline and was charged $50. When we got there there was a hold of $500 and they charged me again $89 confirmation number RC2063629BA. I have called and is not receiving any help . I need my money back

As explained both at the rental counter and by our team, the booking you made did not include liability coverage. The evidence confirms that you were offered the option to purchase insurance, which you accepted and which reduced the deposit amount required.

During your interaction, you inquired whether the deposit would be refunded, and the agent clearly stated that it would be fully refunded provided the vehicle was returned without any damage.

As with all insurance products, once purchased, they are non-refundable and are necessary to ensure the vehicle is fully covered during the rental period.

Furthermore, when the agent asked for feedback on their service, you rated them a 10 out of 10. As previously mentioned, if you believe that insurance was included in the rate you booked, we recommend reaching out to your booking agent for clarification, as the reservation we received reflected a basic rate without insurance coverage.
