Invoicing section on website has been out of operation for ages
Please somebody contact me in regards to the billing portal issue on the website. It has been a problem since late last year. You just get a spinning wheel of death. Happens on all browsers, my computer and my phone. No VPN and no extensions. Cache removed. It's a Ring problem. I can see it is unresolved for many people for years. I shouldn't have to come on here to write a review to get in touch with a company. The AI chat bot directs you to speak to a customer support person section but that just takes you back to the useless chat bot. A never ending circle of doom. Sort it out guys as I need an invoice for my accounts!!

My ring doorbell update didn’t work so was informed to return doorbell and a replacement would be sent.that was on the 7/11/25.Every time I message it’s waiting to be scanned/checked.(Y)I was informed it was faulty.What an absolute joke. have been with them years with a subscription.they can’t give me a date for a replacement.Don’t buy a anything from this company, I won’t renew my subscription again.so your loss.

Peformance is good when working.
I purchased a Ring doorbell when I had a porch built in 2019. This was the wired Pro model. After initial good performance, a couple of years ago, I noticed that the perspex camera cover had cracked quite badly. I'm sure that this is caused by sun damage as we get quite a lot of sun at the front of the house throughout the year. I contacted Ring and they stated that this was physical damage caused to the unit and they offered me a money off voucher to buy a new unit. This statement was just complete rubbish as it's pretty much impossible to damage the doorbell at 5 foot in the air. Ring do not offer replacements for the perspex so I managed to make a new cover with some perspex off eBay. (Ring has since altered the design). Just recently the chime has broken. I tested the power supply and found that this was faulty. I managed to use another power source, but the chime still did not work. As these are reasonable price, I've ordered a new one. (These have also been updated). Although the doorbell gives decent performance, I'm not overly impressed with the longevity of either the doorbell or the chime having failed after 5 or 6 years.

Very poor performance, misses so much like a letter being put through the door or when it rains or damp it's all blurry, if you are more than 5mts away it does not alert you to someone at the door, and when it does chime it's minutes after it was used, not very effective

I’ve tried to transfer the bell from my ex husband to me or we can’t use it ! I have made loads of calls and very close to chucking it in the bin . Customer service is like speaking to a toddler . I just called again this morning to say the chime still isn’t working after starting the set up process to transfer and he said ‘ is the doorbell registered to just you ?’ . No !!! That’s why I want to transfer it !?????? Very frustrating . Will just go get a normal bloody doorbell .

Had a new Ring camera floodlight; it wasn’t working correctly from the beginning. It took a while to establish what was happening. You set up the camera so that the lights will come on at night time when motion is detected; however, after a day or so, this would stop lighting up.
From what I have discovered, it’s a known fault with the LEDs not working properly .
After several phone calls to Ring, they agreed to take it back, although you have to send it back and wait for a replacement. The email states that when they receive the item, they will process it within three days; however, two weeks on and several phone calls. Still no replacement. Every time you contact them, they say it’s in progress. One supervisor told me on the fifth call that they haven’t received it yet. I sent evidence that they had through the tracking. He explained that they made a mistake and they have it, although two weeks in, they still haven’t processed it and it was going to take a further two weeks to get a replacement. Potentially four weeks, although on their past performance who knows how long?

I have a ring doorbell, and many times there is so much missing, for example somebody left a bowl of cat food outside my house. I don’t know why but it could not be seen on the Ring doorbell so what’s the point of having a ring doorbell and the subscriptions are so expensive? I’m really looking for an alternative. Also Somebody’s car got stolen opposite my house so the neighbours asked me if I could check my ring doorbell and there was nothing on there. just a missing section… Yes, the bell is working but there is a lot of footage missing. And there is no customer service there is a phone number but automated voice asks for a pin which I have no idea where that is. Non-existent customer service no phone number the phone number advertised is pointless.

Ihave just bought a doorbell and sounder and 4 cameras. Worked ok. Then i had to subscribe paid for a full year and got nothing not even an email only an invoice stating i had paid. Cancelled the account says it takes 30 days to contact us. So i cancelled the payment through the bank and got my full payment back. So far we have never heard from ring again.

2 Times I got a ring doorbell and each time immediately after the guarantee ran out the product broke I had requested a new one and they just brushed it off as user wear. the customer service is awfull the staff are rude and disrispectful. Ring Doorbell – Sudden Failure & Exploitative Support
I purchased a Ring Doorbell expecting reliability and peace of mind. Instead, the device suddenly stopped holding a charge without warning. For a product marketed as premium home security, this is unacceptable.
When I contacted Ring support, I was told the warranty had expired and that I needed to buy another device. After pressing the issue, I was offered a 30% discount but only on their website, which no longer carries my model. Instead, they push far more expensive replacements that are excessive for my needs and budget.
This feels less like customer care and more like a deliberate upsell strategy. A device that fails suddenly, followed by dismissive support and pressure to buy overpriced new models, is not the behaviour of a company that values its customers.
Verdict: Ring’s products are unreliable, their support is dismissive, and their “discounts” are a sales tactic. Keep away from these crooks as they exploit failure to force you into buying again.
