Honestly, this product is overpriced for the quality. I made the mistake of buying some sandals on a buy one get one, but I didn’t try them on. Two days later I bring it back to the store but the sale is not on and I just asked if I could change the size and they said they could change the size, but it was going to cost me the full retail price to exchange it. Makes no sense. Not sure if this is a cashier problem or a store problem but I will be dealing with it Directly with the company.

DHL delivered my parcel to the wrong address and ripcurl tried to pretend that it had been delivered to the right address. Then they arranged for it to be delivered again and it’s been sent to a launderette and I have been given one day to pick it up or it gets sent back.

Their wetsuits have gone down hill in terms of quality. They fall apart way too quickly. I have used their suits since I was 13! I am now 54! I will never buy another Rip Curl product.

Also got a waterproof watch that got water in it the first time I took it surfing.

Purchased the Atom Digital (Clear) watch on 21 Jan 2023. Noticed the watch leaking during a swim in early March (just 2 month later!!). The quartz display went crazy soon afterwards. Rendered unusable. Nice looking watch, but obviously very fragile or just poorly constructed. I'll be sticking with G-shock in future.

Not sure what they do in this case is even Legal.

Wasted time and money organising a Rip curl watch repair. In the process of them sending it to Australia they lost the crown and battery plate, this is a rip curl tide watch 1st gen, so this part is extremely hard to sauce, they couldn't fix their own watch, so beware.

If I could give no stars I would. I made an order over £500 for a wetsuit and accessories. I got a message from the currier service saying delivered, this was not the case and i contacted Rip Curl to ask what was going on with my order. They then give me the tracking details which said the order was delivered to a different county that is 1 hour and 20 mins drive away from my address. I then asked for a refund and guess what….. they stopped replying to my emails. Absolute disgrace and by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Shame on you coming so close to Christmas and thinking it’s ok to leave me over £500 down and with no wet suit or accessories. No doubt you will put some stupid reply here instead of refunding me for the lost order.

Bought the 2022 Rip Curl Flashboom 5mm hidden split toe. After one session there were full of water. I took a video to demonstrate the amount of water retained in the shoe, unfortunately it's not possible to upload it. It's impossible to get through to anyone in Rip Curl.

Always been a big fan of Ripcurl having bought their clothing for over 30years. That has changed. The last three items I purchased have all failed very quickly. I wrote to Ripcurl just to say I found it sad that their quality had gone downhill. They really couldn’t of cared less. Others have commented the same. I am now calling them R.I.P Curl !

It’s amazing that this company can still operate in California! I sent a Trestles Tide Watch for a strap that had started to break in pieces and that the watch stopped working.
They ship the watch back in a flimsy brown envelope with a Note which said” Your Watch has Water Damage unfortunately we are not able to repair due to age of the Watch and repairs required and it’s not covered under warranty parts are no longer available!! So what is covered in the life time warranty?
Anyways I just installed a new battery and it’s up and running with no water damage or any other issue all controls work! They never even bothered to open it!

Returned a watch for warranty repair service mid-May; in early August, received a random replacement watch, not similar to the watch I sent them, no explanation enclosed. I emailed them, and after nine days they finally replied… they have no stock and don’t know if/when they will have any. I guess they figured sending me something was better than nothing. They truly are one of the worst companies regarding customer service and response to emails/phone calls. They seem poorly staffed and unprofessional. Oh…and their watches are not reliable. I’ve owned two, both have broken relatively early. Apparently I’ll just need to be satisfied with the watch they chose from their grab bag, a baby blue watch, not black like I sent them. Really?

Got a top of the line flash bomb 4x3 “sealed” seams.. all the amazing propaganda but the seams aren’t sealed at all on the outside like a quality suit such as xcel, it’s leaked since the first wear and every time since .. only good for warmer water so then why even have an expensive 4x3 ? after this purchase I’ll never buy from them again .
Pretty much the cheapest wetsuit for the highest price .

This company is embarrassing. I bought a new pair of their shorts for $80. I wore them TWICE. They now have a random rip over the pocket. This is a very low quality product. And they're doing nothing to make it better. STAY AWAY.

This company has given up. No customer service to speak of. Order didn't ship on time, live chat perpetually offline, won't respond to emails, no phone number to call. What a joke.
