I’m not a Rise customer and I notice the 5 star reviews are for installations and actual user reviews are pretty low. I’m so disappointed. I was hoping to change over to them and now I see I mig... See more

Very good was at work when they came too install but when I got home internet was set up and on all I had to do was bind it with the app on my phone since I’m the Owner. Very good would definitely recommend.

Josh did our install and he was absolutely fantastic. Super professional and was patient as we discussed how things work and helped us get everything set up perfectly. Great hire! Great worker! Josh represented your company wonderfully. Thank you Josh!

24 hours after installation and I'm already having to call technical support because the instructions for setting up were so vague, on top of that there was already an outage. Will perhaps upgrade the stars if service and reliability improve from here.

The guy did a great job coming to set it up and put it right where I wanted it. The only reason why I didn’t give him full star points is because he was supposed to be there between eight and showed up a little bit after 12

Overall easy, quick process - great customer service from Sonny to get the appointment set up. We had to reschedule our original appointment for install due to crazy strong winds, but they had plenty of days available right away. I don't know our tech's name, but he was great. Very aware of the longevity of his installations on unusual building materials and did great work. Thank you!! (Oh, and the internet itself is great, too!)

Great timing for arriving prompt in the time gap. Service was fast and clean. Communication was clear. The tech was professional and made a simple job of switching our internet with previously used areas. No extra holes in the siding.

Well where do i start? with the complete a$$ can speeds? the complete joke of customer service? or the terrible lies and misinformation from this company. 7 years and probably longer i have used Rise’s service, 7 years of pure anger and nothing but issues. I pay for 50mb download, shitty speeds right? well that’s not even close to what i get.. on a good day i’ll top out at 5mbps download, on an absolutely amazing day maybe 8-10, however consistent speeds are around 2-3 mbps… i could provide a better internet connection with a pile of shit and a stick. Let’s not forget to mention my internet dropping for absolutely no reason within the late hours of the night, when you have things happening in your life you tend to need internet past midnight. Do not ever put yourself through the agonizing beating with this company, run far away and put your money somewhere else. 2 am and i’m typing this enraged that this is the 6th night my internet has gone dark. Not sure if the servers are embedded somewhere in the 2004 GWOT but it’s absolutely mind boggling that this internet service can still breath in the year 2025. Surprised Rise isn’t sued yet, complete morons.

I am stuck with Rise through my apartment’s bulk pricing plan and they’ve been out for the last six days. I work from home and they’ve caused me to lose four days of wages because of this and there is still no resolution in sight. They’ve told my apartment manager that they’ve sent a tech out at least three times and that they’ve issue is resolved, but I, as well as the others in my building are still out of service. I’ve done every personal troubleshooting step I have access to on my end before continuing to breathe down the apartment manager’s neck about getting it fixed, and the outage continues to persist. Then they told the apartment manager that they want to “troubleshoot with the tenants” so we were told to call them with our address because we’re under the bulk billing account. So I called them to troubleshoot, except they explicitly refused to help me unless I had the account number or the primary account phone number, which I do not have, because again, I get the internet through my lease under the apartment complex’s bulk billing account that is managed by the property manager. I explained that to them as well as telling them what my apartment manager told me that they told him, and the customer support person who refused to help me talked to me like I was the customer support tech and she was a rude customer. All I wanted was to get my internet service fixed so I could get back to work and I’m still stuck here without a connection and unsure if I’m going to be able to pay my rent and if Rise Broadband’s ever-so-helpful service is going to help me right out of my job.
Genuine question, Rise: if you’ve—allegedly—sent out a service tech multiple times over multiple days and you are STILL receiving complaints from the client that the issue is NOT, in fact, resolved, have you not considered that perhaps whatever the tech you have—allegedly—been sending out is not actually finding and repairing the correct issue? Given the fact that you no longer have Monopoly privilege because the market in this area is becoming extremely competitive with the city’s Fiber initiative and you’ve started to royally piss off a large bulk-billing client, are you not concerned over losing a large account like that?

Since the beginning of 2025 and just 35 days the internet is gone out six times. The tech tech works from home and could hear kids and husband arguing in the background. At best Rise broadband delivers 60% of the promise speed sometimes dropping down to 70 KB a second which is nowhere near the 50 mb promised. With Rise you got a lot of promise and not much delivery you should really try anybody else.
