Faulty product - company doesn't care

We bought 5 crystal water bottles, in a short time, 2 of them were broken at the bottom. This happened because the bottle fell in its case onto the carpet, which had next to no impact. Both are now leaking. The company says too bad, and can't even buy a separate bottom section.
Beware, they aren't that resilient - all the reviews o their website are 5 star - yeah right!

Bad returns policy & Customer Service

I ordered 3 items from the Rivendell online store and received the products on time.

The Himalayan Salt lamp was beautiful, the dreamcatcher was also pretty but however the piece that I received was damaged, and the portrait I ordered felt rather small for my liking and so I requested for a return.

I visited their store in Westfield, Manukau for returning the products and was told that I cant return it to the store. I was a bit disappointed after my 30 minute drive that I couldnt return it. But fair enough, it is to maintain their stock or whatever.

And then I mailed them and asked who I must return to and received the address of their warehouse. Thankfully I wasn't foolish to drive up there to return it because in the consequent mail I was told that their warehouse doesnt take in person returns during the pandemic (red traffic light setting).

So annoyed that I can sit at a café & enjoy coffee but I cant even return a product in person for a person living in the same city.
Am I supposed to find NZ post, buy packaging, pay for the mail for a defective item!?

Huge disappointment with their returns policy & customer service.
