Road Runner Transport is a den of liars and thieves. They use the New York Bait and switch scam on people. initially I received a reasonable quote; then when an actual pick up date could be established, weeks after booking, they tried to add another $1K to the balance. Consider this review a warning- to anyone thinking about using these crooks. DON’T!

Process went smoothly. Communication was excellent. Pick up and delivery were on time and professional. Both vehicles were delivered from Wahington State to Florida in the documented condition that they left for around the same cost it would have been to drive them ourselves.

I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with this transport company. Communication was terrible from the beginning. After taking my order and payment, they repeatedly assigned subcontracted carriers who either canceled at the last minute or never responded to calls and messages.
I spent 2 weeks trying to get updates and answers, but customer service was unhelpful and often failed to return calls. Every time I thought transportation had been arranged, another carrier canceled or disappeared without explanation. The lack of coordination and accountability was extremely frustrating.
After numerous phone calls, emails, and requests for assistance, the company was ultimately unable to provide the service I paid for and finally refunded my money. While I appreciate receiving the refund, it only came after many attempts on my part and a great deal of wasted time and stress.
I would not recommend this company to anyone who values reliable service, clear communication, and professional handling of vehicle transportation

WORST
WORST, I repeat WORST Company I have ever dealt with. Promises made and promises NOT kept. When they missed the original pick up date (after being confirmed 3x) they stopped communicating. Would not pick up the phone OVER 30 minutes holding on multiple occasions. Delivered the car 2 weeks late!!! DO NOT USE~ they provided NO customer service.

I want to take the time to write a good review about my experience. The only trouble I had with RRAT was getting ahold of them some days. The waiting was a little long but their customer service was excellent. I spent a lot of time on the phone with their agents and customer support just asking a lot of questions about how the service worked and everything to prepare. I want to leave a good review because they did great answering my questions and alleviating my concerns sending a vehicle across the USA! Everything went as it should and I am glad I trusted them for this service. They chose a great transportation service and I am very happy!

Lied about pickup date and price
They lied to me about the pickup date being the date that I requested. Then they led me along for days saying the pickup date would be the next day, then the next day…. They are not trustworthy. Will never use them again.
Update! They got a carrier but increased the price by 40%. It was the original salesman who misled me.

We would like to clarify that your order was placed with a first available pickup date of 6/1. As outlined during the booking process, all pickup dates and transit times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
Regarding the rate adjustment, there are times when a surge in demand around a customer’s desired shipment dates can lead to limited carrier availability. When this happens, customers always have the option to cancel their booking at no charge. We do see that the updated rate was presented to you and that you elected to proceed with the shipment at the revised price in order to continue moving forward with the transport.
We regret that we were unable to meet your expectations and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

This is my second time using RoadRunner to transport my vehicle. I can confidently say, the company is trustworthy and reliable. The price quoted is the price charged. The company communicates well regarding pickup and drop off times. My car arrives in the same condition it left in. Without a doubt, RoadRunner will remain the company I use when needing to ship my personal vehicle.
