TERRIBLE company for any POWER-SPORTS purchases…. I own a UTV rental COMPANY in SoCal and we’ve purchased SEVERAL of our fleet Canams through road runner and up until about a week ago (after about4 years of being a customer) had a pleasant experience but now, I WILL NEVER use this company to purchase another UTV/jetski/boat and I URGE others to heed my warning. They do NOT return cusromer phone calls, they refuse to even do a ONE TIME FEE REVERSAL!!! Like all other banks… which I do understand, but when your “employees” are useless know-nothing sacks of air, when I am paying you money I expect ALOT more from what I’m giving them in interest!!! Anyway, I called because a payment kicked back from them, a payment I make EVERY month with the same account the SAME way and they had ZERO information for me as to why it was returned.. literally no explanation and told me to call my bank… as I knew there was no problem with the account or funds I called just to be sure and they had no record of the transaction at all… but then HOW DOES THE COMPANY NOT HAVE ANY INFO???? Well, they don’t use their own portal for payments they use a 3rd party… after a THIRD CALL to road runner I finally found a COMPETENT employee who gave me a phone number to call and actually get some answers but PRIOR TO THAT, I had a request into a supervisor for the day prior and I NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL BACK… nothing, I got told sorry lady ur stuck with the fees that it seems our system failed and charged you because of…. Well… I guess they don’t need mine or ANYONE else I knows business and BOY OH BOY do we deal with LOTS and LOTS of people looking to buy toys, can’t wait to make it hurt for them over the next couple years because I have a loud mouth and hold grudges for a LOOOOOONG time!! ANYWHO, OCTANE FINANCIAL, ROAD RUNNER…. WHO/WHATEVER ur company hides under, I will be damn sure to spread the praises of SYNCHRONY or SHEFFIELD now!!!

I am new to his company. Just made a large payment on my loan and asked that it be applied to future payments. Was told that they will only apply it to two months of payments which is fine. But then asked about financing down to a lower payment and was told they do not do this. Every bank I know does this. I’m already looking at ways to pay this off and get away from this horrendous customer service.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Horrible customer service, wasn't notified that a payment was reversed (for no known reason and I have notifications via email, phone and text setup) and they charged late fees and additional interest while I was trying to pay the loan off. The payment was supposedly reversed days ago, so $47 additional interest and a late fee tacked on without notification after the reversal. The only way I knew about it was because the funds weren't taken out of my bank account. I tried to talk with a customer service rep and said they will not return that money because it's not "what they do". Corrupt way to do business, if you ask me. DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Complete scam of company. Loan sharks. Interest rates are ridiculous and you can never pay off early because they don't put towards principal. Avoid at all cost

I spoke with Shay, Jasslyn, Felicia and supervisor Latoya to help me pay off my loan as early as I could and they all were very informative, helpful and friendly. They all went out of their way to get me the documents I needed for the paid in full letter. I can’t thank you all enough!

The payment portal is a constant pain in the a$$. I try to use it and it tells me it’s the wrong email every time. Then I call and get hung up on repeatedly. My favorite so far has been going to the payment portal on the 18th of January when my bill was due the 22nd and it not working then calling over and over, mailing a letter asking why I can’t get a person on the phone or the online payment to work. When I emailed I got an automated response the first four times. Finally on February 9th 2024 I get an email so I call and get a live person that doesn’t hang up only to be transferred to a rude guy. Rude guy then tells me that they are going to charge off my account. If you’re not going to provide a consistent way for people to make payments you shouldn’t expect to be paid.
