My apologies
I was confused why they added the new rule and was mad about it until I kind of realized why they did it. They simply did it so that they can be safe since coppa exists. They didn't wanna deal with coppa or anything so they simply just added this rule to deal with it. Aaron didn't wanna do this but he had to.

Wonderful website
Wonderful website. This website is awesome. Good moderation system, and good features too. The community can sometimes be toxic, but it's overall full of amazing people. As someone who has been on the forum for almost 3 years now, it has been a wonderful experience.
