A little dodgy of a product, hard to make it work. But the product category is notoriously unreliable, so not sure Roborock is any bit worse than the others. Great pricing at least!

Excellent

Excellent, reliable products and support. I've had several robots from several brands and theirs are always among the best and consistently the most reliable. Support (which I almost never needed) is quick and effective.

AVOID - Poor quality items that inevtiably break

AVOID - Roborock broken after 9 months, bought from Techinn who are equally as useless. They simply ignore you and pass the buck of who is responsible. Are very poorly designed vacuum that seems inundated with issues - which everyone has do not buy one of these - they useless!

NO LEGITIMATE WARRANTY AND NO SERVICE…

NO LEGITIMATE WARRANTY AND NO SERVICE CENTER, FLY-BY-NIGHT MANUFACTURER

Roborock S7 is good until you encounter defects — then, you’re left on your own for dead. There is no real customer support (global site is limited for troubleshooting and technical support), local distributors are USELESS. Even if you are willing to pay for diagnosis and repair, it is impossible because THERE IS NO LOCAL SERVICE CENTER anywhere!!!

Beware of spending good money on any of their products. Don’t trust the Chinese with your money!

Bought Roborock vacuum with mopping…

Bought Roborock vacuum with mopping action August 2022
So there is a small removable tank where the water goes in. Worked fine for 4 months but one of the Cliff edge sensors went. It would not work. It said wipe Cliff sensors and when I turned the unit upside down to clean, one of the sensors was completely rotten with rust!! So it had been getting water damage for a while from the tank area!
I contacted customer support
Asked loads of details and questions which I answered
And then they start ignoring my emails???
They never followed up
That was last year
Support?? That’s a joke
They did nothing and do not care!!

Be aware!

As you can see, they could not be bothered.
So for you customer out there, there are a lot of alternatives. I can recommend Electrolux.

Be aware!
I bought a Roborock vacuum cleaner, that could not cope with dust!!!
When I returned it for warranty they discovered that i had dust inside and sent it back.
Dust INSIDE the unit, that you are not allowed to clean or even enter as a customer....
And of course it should not be any maintenance inside for the customer. Then it is indisputable a faulty construction and then it should definitely per definition be covered by warranty.
It's like buying a boat, that you should keep away from moist....!

Warranty issue

Warranty issue
I bought Roborock S6 pure on Jun 22, I just used a few months the unit was not charging. I sent unit back to roborock for repair for a week then I got the unit back but it lost memory, it was not able to return back to dock after cleaning, the battery still wasn't charging. Then I sent back to roborock again for repair. They said the mother board had a problem, not able to fixed. The Roborock warranty is cover for one year, but They offer me partial refund which is half of listing price. They said I had been used for six months, but I actually used for few months, the rest of time I sent it out for repair. The unit is used for few months, they should give me back full refund or replace a new unit. Why listing for one year warranty but not apply when they got defected unit?

Having same issue as everyone on here

Having same issue as everyone on here. Loved my robot but it stopped working after less than 2 months. Customer service won’t let you speak to anyone about warranty. Email only and I haven’t heard back. Loosing my mind! I’m returning it through Amazon and filing complaint with them. Hoping they’ll not allow them to be sold on their site if enough of us file claims

Roborock Brand Has No Honour

Hello.
I bought Roborock s7 from an e-commerce site for about 15 thousand ₺. The seller was interested when buying and answered my questions nicely. In fact, I had problems with more than one mapping later on, and they helped me with their solutions. But as I used it later, I realized that the mop of this tool is not good at all. I contacted Roborock customer representatives directly. I explained that the mop left a large amount of traces during the wiping process, that I had to clean it again, that the traces turned into stains after a certain period of time and it became more difficult to clean. I added that this device is no different from products that are half the price, and that people like me have the right to expect a perfect cleaning by paying this difference. What would you like the answers they give me?
-According to the laws of physics, it is normal for that scar to form due to the pressure of the water.
-My house is very dirty...
-Water's chemistry tends to stain.
Instead of giving me science lessons and insulting my house, try to ensure customer satisfaction and correct your mistakes. It's such a shame what you did.
I will either make a full refund of my product or you will support me on this mop very urgently.
I'm sorry, but what do you think you are? Are you trying to scam people by taking double money from them?

Roborock NOT honoring warranty after 6 months

Bought a Roborock S7 from Amazon ORDER # 111-9624356-7687451 six months ago. Had cliff sensor issues so many times. Most of the times it took 1-2 days not using to recover but the last time it was completely dead. Customer service refused to repair or simply offer to ship back or discard it. Such a disgrace for a big company like Roborock to treat customers like this (really good while they work)!

AVOID AVOID

AVOID AVOID! Our device developed a fault just over a year after we purchased it. The support Team at Roborock stated that the seller is responsible for the warranty not them. I'm now in touch with the seller (their UK website no longer available) who expect me to pay £154 GBP to return the device to be fixed and for them to send it back to me! Shocking. Terrible customer service and any warranty is not worth the paper it's written on.
UPDATE - I'm now told by the seller that they went into self-administration so the guarantee they provided on behalf of Roborock is useless! Tried to contact Roborock again and they are now ignoring me. I'm now hundreds of pounds out of pocket and nobody is taking responsibility. My advice .. If you live in the UK don't buy a Roborock device as if anything goes wrong you are on your own.

Junk

Despite taking perfect care of this vacuum, it completely died after only two years of very light use. It seems to be what should be a simple fix of a failed battery -- except that for this vacuum's battery to be replaced, the whole vacuum has to be taken apart with the trouble of sending it out for an expensive repair cost. Ridiculous expense, terrible inconvenience, and very wasteful for the failed battery to be junked this early in its life.

S5 Max customer experience

When I initially bought my S5 Max, there was a huge delay on the delivery and the customer service responses were really poor, they really didn’t give a damn. It felt like they had my money and my experience after that felt irrelevant. I’m currently having an issue as my product is not working due to the sensor not working. It’s still in warranty and I’ve sent two emails. After almost two weeks, zero response. I’ve ordered a replacement part on Amazon. If you are looking at robot hoover, I could not recommend this company based on my experience. I don’t feel valued as a customer and I won’t be giving repeat business to them, it’s a crowded space now and I think they may regret the poor customer focus in the long term.

I bought the S7 model and thought I did…

I bought the S7 model and thought I did a lot of research before I dropped the amount of money I did on a robot vacuum/mop. Worked great until wifi went out after about 6 months. Customer service was great initially and tested it over the phone by having me walk through different steps. They said it would need to be sent in. Once it was sent in, they determined that a sticker that turned colors determined there was water damage on the control board and it would be $228 to repair. The only water this has ever seen was from the tank that holds water. We live in 100% humidity and these stickers are known to be faulty. But now they want me to send $228 to a paypal address. Yeah, that sounds legit. I even forwarded them websites documenting that these stickers are faulty in 100% humidity areas, but that's what is determining water damage that only affected wifi somehow! I have made sure to tell EVERYONE on all my social media accounts, wifes social media accounts and my business social media accounts, just to warn people not to buy Roborock! Wont get started how initially, the battery could easily clean my entire house, and now can barely get half done without having to stop and go recharge.

Horrendous customer service- just avoid answering questions so they don’t have to admit any responsibility. Incredibly unethical company and poor quality products. Do not recommend! Buying a Roboroc product has been the worst purchase I’ve ever made!

Avoid, avoid, avoid… criminals!

I have had the same issue as someone else described. 8month old machine, became faulty. Customer service were great at responding until they diagnosed a fault. Told me the outsource their warranty to the supplier, who’s now bankcrupt for warranties only, so still selling products - absurd!!! Roborock just stopped replying when I informed them of the situation. It’s nothing less than cyber fraud and PayPal have advised I report them for just that. My own fault but so disappointed I believed the hype! Avoid… you’ve been warned!

Please avoid this company if you can

Please avoid this company if you can, they are a fraud!! They will take your money and do everything in their power to avoid honoring their warranty when their vacuum breaks in less than a year. We have had our s7+ for 8 months now and the unit no longer works...customer service is TERRIBLE...they claim water damage caused the issue, but no water has ever touched this vacuum beyond the water reservoir. They make you pay to send it in to have it diagnosed, they tell you the issue is not covered under warranty, they tell you that you are financially responsible to fix it and if you want it fixed, get this, you have to send them money via PayPal to get it serviced. That is CRAZY!! Trust me when I tell you to please stick with companies like Neto, Shark, Roomba, etc. Do NOT buy this product. Below is the response from their "Customer Service Rep"

Hi,

Thank you for your waiting.
Under rigorous examination from our technician, the problem of you vacuum is caused by water damage, which is not covered by our warranty. I'm afraid you need to pay for repair. Please refer to the attachment for the check report and pictures.

The procedures are as follows:
1 If you agree to repair, please transfer new part+repairing service+return shipping fee ($157.12 in total) ) to our PayPal account (wangxuan@roborock). We'll fix it within 2-3 business days, ship it back and tell you tracking info after receiving the payment.
2 If you disagree to pay for repair or we did not receive the payment, we will ship it back without repairing.
3. If you do not need the robot anymore, kindly let us know and we will scrap the robot instead of sending it back.

It's not suggested to repair robot that has liquid damage because it's a great cost and there is a big risk that unknown faulty may come with the robot in the future . Hope you could consider it seriously. If you really want to get it fixed, please transfer the payment to us as option 1 and we will replace damaged parts.
May i know if you are interested in buying a new one or refurbished one?

We are looking forward to your reply.
