Not just for kids!
Whilst not a schoolchild learning to code, a teacher, nor with any kids who are learning robotics, I shamelessly bought a Marty for myself (a professional female in my 30s with zero coding skills) purely because I thought he was the cutest little robot I’ve ever seen and loved the idea behind it. It has been the most fun and educational toy I’ve bought for a long time, I’m delighted. I’m just early into the learning to code part but it’s been great. Building the thing to start with was an adventure in itself. Not only does he look super cute on my desk (in a variety of customised handmade outfits) but he’s so much fun and I’m learning genuinely useful skills. I’ve recommended to all friends and family - it’s never to late to learn to code, that will be an extremely valuable skill for anyone to have in future. A Marty the Robot is undoubtedly the best way to learn, not just for kids but for absolutely anyone.

Homework hack!
This is the first time either of my twin boys have come home from school asking whether they could have a classroom tool at home! Marty the Robot really brought coding to life for them. It’s also not unreasonably priced, especially when I think of how much we’ve spent on Lego over the years. This actually covers their coursework but seems like a teenage toy to them - best homework hack ever!
