We had a really positive experience through Rocket Doctor and will absolutely access care this way again.

My daughter came down with what we suspected was a UTI and she was really uncomfortable so going in person for treatment was an undesirable route for us as wait times where we are can be really really long. It was in her better interest to receive treatment from home.

From the get-go, setting up an appointment as a first time patient was really easy the online portion is easy to navigate when setting up your profile. The gentleman who helped me with my initial appointment intake could not have been more patient and gentle. We were connected with Dr Stephen Varieur who called us within an hour or so of intake being completed.

It was immediately apparent that he is a very knowledgeable, efficient physician.
He asked me to describe what was going on with my daughter and asked me how I would like to proceed, which I really appreciated, it’s really nice to have a doctor validate your concerns and take into consideration what you feel is best for a treatment plan for your child.

Doctor Varieur ordered a requisition for lab testing and prescribed antibiotics for my daughter and let me know he would call with lab results once they came in.

Unfortunately the lab lost our sample and results were not available for interpretation at zero fault of Rocket Doctor or Dr. Varieur. I called and spoke with Dr. Varieur again as my little one didn’t seem to be getting much better after a few days and at that point after he had exercised all he could do from his position, he recommended she be seen in person. Had he had lab results he said he would know more and could recommend more based on what he knew.

I appreciated that there was no ego and no instruction to just “wait it out” as I feel often happens and leaves parents feeling unsure of what’s ok and what’s not.

I really feel like Doctor Varieur cares. He didn’t beat around the bush with a ton of niceties or small talk, he asked lots of questions and he answered all of mine. He let me speak and explain things. He provided great information and explanation for all of his decisions and spoke from a very knowledgeable position on everything.

I will absolutely use Rocket Doctor again and I hope to be connected to Dr. Varieur again when we do. I have already recommended this service to my family, friends and colleagues.

I used this service and will never use it again. OMG, I called for an appointment, and it comes in from who knows where to make the appointment. Unknown callers are not welcome on a business line, thanks!!
Make an appointment, sure it was fast, but 1.5 weeks later, I'm still waiting for the requisition for the blood work, and I still haven't received it. Then another time I called to get medation refilled and what a mess that was all screwed up. Then lets talk about there doctor calling you he did'nt call I had to call back. Then this program they want you to sign up for is BS as well. Sounds good on paper, but come on, you cannot get it together on a small scale, so please do yourself a favour and do not use this service!!! CARE space is the BS program!!!! What is a total joke is the lady saying if you miss your appointment, you will be charged $40.00 dollars OMG -0 for review....😡😵‍💫

Doctor never sent fax to pharmacy for my prescription. I also wrote email to administration and left phone call to real person in regards of this issue, but no one replied me back. My appointment was done on June 15, but as of July 7, I haven't received my medication.

Service quality!!
Not used to that in health care… lately.

Easy to book. Quick. Doctor called me promptly at the time that was scheduled. Rx was sent to my pharmacy within minutes. Will use this system anytime I am able to going forward.

The best thing for patients that don’t have a walk in clinic in the area. It is set up well and have never had a bad experience yet!!
Staff are polite and kind.

Rocket Doctor saved us. No walk-ins are open near us and the person needing a doctor didn’t have Ontario OHIP. It was very easy to go online make the appointment and the doctor was great and on time. Way better than sitting in a Walkin clinic for hours. The Doctor did a video call and it was relaxing. You get to stay in your house. I don’t know how it works if you have OHIP, but if you don’t have insurance then $74 was very affordable.
The doctor sent the prescription straight to the pharmacy of our choice. What a great service!

I get a doctor on the same day and my needs are always looked after well.

Very easy to get an appointment, usually even the same day. Even better, you don’t have to leave home to attend the appointment.

Got a referred to Rocket Doctor from a peer support. Then I got referral from my doctor after looking into the services provided. I met with Dr. Said, he was genuinely helpful with me figuring out that I actually have adjustment disorder. Dr. Said mentioning it while other previous therapists/doctors have not. I found them more helpful and got better answers then before. Providing many different resources that are low cost/partially funded or full payment. Giving me more options of help needed for me that I couldn't find or can afford. I recommend their services to all.

From my initial contact with the website collecting my information, to the person who called me back to set up the phone appointment with the doctor all the way to the prompt call from the doctor, everything was excellent.
Instead of sitting waiting in a walk in clinic, I was able to sit in my own home and get the help I needed.

10 out of 10 Horrible Service ! I have had 3 or 4 appointments and need some documents completed. When the documents were submitted the agency they were submitted to requested additional information . Rocket Doctor ignored it, the particular agency also advised they were unable to verify the "doctor" who treated me was actually licensed and able to send in a certification about my health in the state of California. Rocket Doctor still has not replied with the information. This resulted in a denial. I have reached out to Rocket Doctor and was promised a physician capable of completing my paperwork would see me on Friday. That never happened. The Dr. Who saw me on friday tried to gaslight me and tell me there was no such paperwork request and it was just for a refill. I pushed back and she acknowledged that she saw that but there was no way she would complete the document that day. In addition, she said she was unaware how to complete said paperwork and when I tried to explain she talked over me. When I [politely asked her to allow me to explain she ended the video call and made no attept to reconnect. She called in a refill but still has not completed my paper work. I attempted to contact the by phone they only take emails and no one has circled back with me . I attempted chat on their site and 5 times I got under 10 in the queue and they dumped my chat. I am livid and no one there is even attempting to help. I have not seen such horrible handling of a patient in all my days. Go to a real clinic avoid this place. I have literally been trying to connect to a chat with them for over 2 hrs but they keep booting me from the queue

Quick response to get an apointment. DR was very helpful.

Was very convenient and the doctor was great to deal with.

I needed an X-ray after a fall on the pavement. My family doctor was a 1 month wait and emergency clinics are half to a full day of waiting in most cases. I submitted my request on line to Rocket Doctor and received a call back with a time the doctor was going to call within a few minutes. I spoke to the doctor briefly and she emailed me a requisition for my X-ray, Viola…no waiting in long line ups and hours in a clinic.
I am so thankful for Rocket Doctor.

The doctors are wonderful and the service has very little wait time. I have been able to receive the care I needed in almost all cases with a phone appointment.

The booking process is usually fairly efficient. But I do have to stay near the phone for anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours to make sure I don't miss the call. They do not have a way to call back or to connect with administration if you miss a call.

Usually the prescriptions are phoned in right away and the referrals to experts don't take long either so this is great.

You get emails sometimes but I've only seen about one out of ten replied to. You can't connect with administration in a reliable way if you need something corrected or changed. But if you book another appointment, most things can get sorted.

The booking staff are reading from a script and it can feel a bit awkward but they have a regular person named Ruby who does a good job and is very earnest and pleasant.

I would like them to be more specific and reassuring about the medical confidentiality of the information they now have on file. I imagine it would just take a conversation with the right person to understand it better. I was told that the admin staff can read the notes. This may or may not be the same in all medical offices though it feels weird when it is online.

Still, this is an excellent workaround for the huge numbers of people who do not have a regular dr or who need urgent but not emergency services. Thank you for offering this Rocket Dr!
