Rocket Money Charged my account for 4+ years without my knowledge, even though I never used their product since 2018! But when I reached out to explain that my college email was suspended after I graduated, hence no payment confirmation was received, no refund was offered at all.

For a company helping people with unwarranted charges, this is so ironic and hypocritical.

I'll never be interested in doing business with a so-called company that portrays consumers as being stupid in their commercials. Ever. If that's the way they will portray us, that's how they'll treat us.

I absolutely loved this app until my accounts got disconnected. I spent 2 years using it for budgeting and tracking memberships. Somehow, my bank and Plaid disconnected. I re-connected but still lost everything that happened in the past 2 years. They can't get the info back. This is a complete deal breaker since there is no way to know if it is going to happen again. I found out from a chat box. They said a human will get back to me. I will update this rating if they are able to fix this. For now, I am searching for a better option. Do not get this product unless you like real disappointment.

Funny that none of them offered me a refund in private. Just here so you can look like you are trying to help. You cannot help me because of the HUGE unfixable flaw in your program. You don't keep a copy of the work your clients do. It just disappears if your bank disconnects. 2 years of financial planning gone. Please do not use this product for anything but getting rid of subscriptions.

Its completely useless to me. It allowed me to connect my PayPal immediately then told me I couldnt proceed because I didnt have another checking account to add. If I had a checking account I wouldve connected that before PayPal.

Rocket Money’s commercials are misleading, suggesting that people need help managing subscriptions they are supposedly unaware of, like multiple Netflix accounts. In reality, most people already know what they’re paying for, and most banks offer similar tracking features directly in their apps.

What’s more concerning is Rocket Money’s practice of selling user data. While the service promises to help manage finances, it profits from user information instead. The marketing paints a picture of easy savings, but the reality is a data-driven business that doesn't add much unique value. The hype is definitely overstated.

I was charged for a premium account and Rocket Money extracted the charge from my checking account without any permission. I have never had anything like this happened to me without authorization! I do not ever pay any subscription with a checking account - always use my credit cards. It is unacceptable that a program that has access to your checking account just goes ahead and charges what they want without permission!

I’ve been using Rocket Money since 2022 and it has helped me tremendously with budgeting my finances and knowing where all my money is going on the monthly basis. I would recommend this app to anyone that is looking to get more organized financially.

They claim to save you money but they nickel and dime you with charges for service you can do yourself by checking your bank accounts. As other dubious subscriptions , terminating your account is a hassle.Run

So far so good! I like the saving feature. It's one of those out of sight out of mind things. I just pray when it's time to withdraw my money it will be available. I also love how the remind you when bills are due. Once i had an amount come out and realized it was a subscription that I forgot to cancel. So far it's been very helpful.

Worst experience ever! Definitely a scam. Rocket Money "negotiated my Verizon and increased it $83 @ month. It has taken me 4 months of talking with Verizon to try to fix this debacle. Also, I received an email in May conforming that the Rocket Money was canceled as I requested, but they are still taking $32.64 monthly fee from my checking account! The bad experience continues

This is nothing like I thought it would be. I paid $60 and now don't plan on using it. I tried to cancel the same day and not only do I not get my money back, they want to charge me $20 to cancel (thru their lawyer no less).

Attempted to access one of my subscription accounts for a bill negotiation without my consent. Won't be using this service again.

Readers, keep in mind Rocket can pay to eleminate bad reviews just like google. ***If you want personalized experience to fit what YOUR needs are, Rocket only goes by computer generated soft pull (out of date likely, messes with APR rates) as their desicion maker. NOT personal at all....

Rocket Money is a joke. It gives you the impression that you can automatically delete expenses. There is no “free lunch.”

Advertised as being able to cancel unwanted subscriptions for you but in reality just provides you with a phone number to call which i already had access to, why pay monthly for information that’s publicly available and you advertise that you can help with it.

Horrible app!! They ended up taking twice the amount of money EACH day for my savings, which ended up costing me over $40 in "excessive item" fees. So this actually caused me to LOSE money, not save ANYTHING!! Would never recommend this app. And I'm sure they're not willing to refund that $42.50 they cost me either. You'd think they would know based on my bank account that they would cause my account to overdraw by CONSTANTLY taking money out of it! *I* didn't even know about those charges bc I've never used my card that much. Yet their app knew I overdrew my account and was charged $72 for it. Gee, YOU THINK?!
