I saw this commercial. Really? Let me get this correct. This company is asking you to pay them to balance your finances? So they set a budget and send you a notification to tell you when you hit your spending limit.
You understand that an irresponsible person is not going to pay attention to a notification, they'll make an excuse to spend it anyway, and a responsible person can already balance their own expenses.
So you're going to add another expense on top of your expenses by hiring these people to set an algorithm for you to do what you know you already should do?
Please don't do this.
Either take the half hour to manage your account weekly or don't. But don't add insult to injury.
If you're reading this you know what you should do, so do it.
This is a bad company, wanting you to pay them for something you yourself can do - for free. You can manage your own finances. Your algorithm is You.
You know your pay, your bills. You know when you can't afford something or when you need to budget a bit each week until you can afford it.
When you want to get serious about your finances you will. Until then, no company will help. Don't add another expense to expenses you're trying to manage.

First time trying them. Tracking bills and everything was fine until I had them negotiate my internet bill. They said they saved me $133.20 in negotiations. My bill was already $66 a month. They said they got it down to $66. What? Then charged me $66 for the negotiation.

Stay away from bill negotiations unless you like getting a big fee for a “negotiated” savings on a FUTURE bill with zero documentation that your bill was going up to the price they claim. I even contacted the company that they supposedly negotiated with and confirmed that Rocket Money had zero influence on my resulting future bill. RM is charging me $172 with no documentation even though I have proof from that bill’s customer service that RM did not impact the current or future bill. Apparently their terms & conditions allow for them to arbitrarily claim that your bill was going to go through the roof with no documentation. Looking forward to a class action payout on this one.

I had the pleasure of working with Jose to resolve account issues. Jose was both knowledgeable and expedient. He even went above and beyond to make me whole and preserve a good customer relationship. My only regret is that your company policies do not allow us to thank him with a small monetary gift card. But I am happy that his supervisor was able to see the kudos that I sent to him and that he will also receive recognition here.
Opened a rocket money account with the hopes of seamlessly tracking my expenses in one place. Within 3 days I noticed one of my accounts kept disconnecting. It continued to happen every few days or so. I assumed it was likely the connection through that one account, and that rocket money's applications was not to blame. However after only 1 week, all of my accounts stopped updating all today. I would get notifications that syncs had occurred, I would manually start syncs, and still no updates. This lasted for a few weeks before I reached out to support. It took them over 48 hours to respond, and then they ignored all the context about past sync attempts and messages and told me to re-sync and give it time, despite the accounts reflecting month old data. When I responded with that, again it took over 72 hours for a response and they repeated the same thing and said if I really wanted to have the issue investigated further I could send over all the transactions that were not syncing. - Which was across three different platforms over the last month.
To me, that was all I needed to hear. To only get a few days of all my accounts truly updating and to have to put in that much work to confirm syncs were not happening... as if any one in this day and age goes over a month without a transaction on their credit card, checking account, and savings account transactions

I used this company over two years ago and negotiated ONE bill with them. I paid the fee to have them negotiate the bill and never used them again. My accounts weren't even linked with their app anymore and I had not managed my money or subscriptions in, like I said, over two years. Two days ago, I randomly was charged $168 for them negotiating a bill that I did not request them to negotiate. The funny thing is, the bill did decrease, because I had called my internet company and changed my service back in March (it is now May) and Rocket Money has the nerve to say they negotiated the bill and charge me when they had nothing to do with my change in service or the negotiation. According to their fine print, I have to cancel the negotiation request (which I didn't make) before the changes take place (changed 2 months prior to their claims) or I will be responsible for the negotiation fee. THIS IS A SCAM! Just make a spreadsheet and look at your bank statements. DON'T USE ROCKET MONEY!

I signed up for the free trial, six months ago and forgot to use the app. I noticed a charge on my account and contacted the support. Todd was super helpful! He refunded me! I am definitely going to keep using the app, I’m just glad I got a refund for the time I was unable to!
I’ve had an overall great experience with Rocket Money. Their services are useful and automated systems personally help me to save money.
I only recently ran into an issue with one of my saving accounts, and the customer service representative that assisted me was amazing! Cheryl was kind, communicated clearly about what she fixed and what I needed to do, and made the process incredibly easy. Everything was sorted out the same day I requested the help. Highly recommend!
To keep it short, Cheryl from Rocket is the one who acknowledged my text and emails in a timely manner and was very professional in dealing with my issue. Cheryl made sure that I fully understood what I needed to do so that she could help me resolve this matter and did a very outstanding job in doing so
Rocket money sucks. They’re not offering anything new.. They are just copying nerd wallet, Experian, the wallet etc. This is a very young company with no money and bad reviews. The company does their own cheesy commercials, they sound like hackers.
There are much more experienced apps.

I’ve used Rocket Mortgage in the past and it was a great experience. When I saw an advertisement for Rocket Money I knew it would be worth checking out.
It is a great program! I definitely recommend it.
The customer service is amazing. Cheryl assisted me with a few inquiries and provided excellent customer service.
I signed up for trial of Rocket Money and they provided me with a credit card, which they charged $95 fee on the card without properly disclosing. Eventually, I was able to get the charges reversed and my account balance to zero and account closed. Lo and behold, a month later I find that they have charged me just over a $1 on interest, which I have no way to pay since my account is closed. I called customer service and they couldn't do anything, so I was told the matter would be escalated. I never heard back and now they have charged me another $1 for interest??? This company is awful and has no customer service. I tried to pay just to get them out of my life, but, again, it is not possible because my account is closed.

Spammy service that provides incorrect information to the companies it contacts. Have made all of our children company block the service as it was costing us more time trying to decode their incorrect emails.
Also, notice most positive reviews have a name in it. Thats usually when a workplace has a scheme to get staff to generate positive reviews with their employees names in it, so highly mentioned staff get a bonus. So it's very likely their friends and family in most cases.

I want to express my gratitude towards Cheryl for taking excellent care of my concern. She was not only friendly but also informative, quick, and accurate in fixing the problem. Moreover, she answered my questions patiently, and I felt warmly welcomed while talking to her. Rocket Money always takes great care of my finances and keeps an eye on my back. It feels like having a personal financial advisor without having to schedule appointments and meet in person. Keep up the excellent work, Rocket Money! 👍 🔥
They steal and sell data to advertisers and I can’t believe that I have to get a paid subscription to get rid of subscriptions. This is ironical. Very dissatisfied with this.

Customer Service responded quickly to a complicated issue. They made the solution as painless as possible, while still keeping my account information secure and protected. I appreciate their assistance and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to consolidate your financial view.
Scam of a company. Rocket money called my phone provider and pretended to be me to lower my bill, which I didn’t ask them to do. I paid the $10 a month for the extras but I didn’t know I would be charged %60 for bill negotiation. How can they get away with pretending to be the user? I can’t even close my account without paying $240.
