Travelling to UK from DK and sent some questions according to bus travel around the Jurassic Coast. We are old folks needing to know this and that. Quick answer with helpful links already the day after. Now we know how te get around. THANK YOU🙏

The Rome2Rio info on London is always wildly wrong! Usually it sends unsuspecting tourists in the wrong direction to a building that didn't exist in a borough 5 miles away from the destination.
Today I was trying to look up routes from Customs House to the Excel Centre (which is about 10 minutes away) and by default it provided the following 'information':

"The fastest way to get from Customs House to ExCeL London is to fly which takes 27h 48m and costs $800 - $2,300. More details..."

The app works for one destination or maybe two. More than that it doesn't have the bandwidth to be able to plan more stops than that. i had a 25 stop trip planned on the site but, after a few days, it disappeared and listed only the first stop. i had saved the trip as a .pdf but the R2R .pdf is incompatible with Adobe Reader. I think that they rolled out the Trip Planner with a minimum of Beta testing to catch this year's travel season. They should have worked out the bugs first. The Mobile App is worse. I can really only use it on my laptop for more than one destination at a time.....Very disappointing.

I have found Rome2 Rio a great website, it's easy to navigate and very informative. Kind of makes you feel like you are on holiday before you have even left. Teal for support is very responsive and helpful

ROME 2 RIO is an essential tool for me to use when I travel. It has navigated me across the globe solo successfully. Recently it saved me from missing my flight from Athens when the official Athens Airport site posted incorrect bus times, but Rome 2 Rio had everything up to date. This site is phenomenal

My husband and I have never been to Scotland or London. We had to find a way to get from Edinburgh to London. Thank GOODNESS for Rome2Rio! We saw all our options and were able to choose the one best suited for us…all in one search. So convenient, so helpful and every time we had a question it was like there was a link right there to find the answer and move on to the next step. We will come here first. I’m telling all my friends who travel about it too!

This website is malware. They are selling to Booking.com malicious redirects. If you search for a trip, they will redirect you automatically to booking.com revealing them your travel destination. Businesses exploiting such questionable practises can not be trusted.

UPDATE 12.7.2024: I am afraid there is no such option to opt-out. Thanks for your comment and confirming that your website is indeed malware and you are knowingly violating the privacy of your users by revealing to booking.com their travel destination searches.

Its good to look up ways to travel here, but not to buy from here because you can get it a lot cheaper directly from the plane company site or the bus site , train site, because they charge you for things here that you would get free like checked luggage from the company. I feel like I was Price gouged I’m very unhappy.

After using RtoR to organise a 9 month trip around the world and also for domestic trips, I don't believe there is another platform that allows you to do it as easily and comprehensibly.

Wanted to know how to travel from Seoul to Sokcho in Korea. Site provided links to two bus companies to get bus tickets which after navigating all the way to make a booking to find out we can't make a payment as the sites need a local Korea phone number for payment verification and bookings tracking. Getting a local phone number for visitors is not easy. So, in short no use at all. Their support staff suggest I contact the bus companies to resolve the issue which is not easy as we don't live in Korea and we also don't speak much Korean. If it was my issue alone, I can understand the suggestion but this is a problem for every most tourists. So recommendation is NOT good.

If I may, just a tip on a possible solution to getting the tickets on line and in advance so you can plan better. Check out Trazy.com. I booked the tickets online and I received QR codes needed to board the bus in my email almost immediately. Going to the terminal is possible but only if the tickets are still available when you reached the terminal. The buses I took were full so I was thankful to have the tickets well in advance. Only downside is tickets are about 40% more expensive BUT given the tickets are inexpensive, worth the premium.

You have listed an Amtrak train from Brunswick ME to Rockland ME. It does not exist…..There are plans though for the future…..

I wish it was possible to share saved itinerary with all the details with other people via a standard share option ( email or text ).

It would be nice if I could have re-ordered or substituted destinations as I was building the itinerary, like Google.

Rome2Rio gives information not available anywhere else, such as the many ways of getting from A2B and the choices within each, and the probable cost. They can actually book many for you. Plus the very quickly answer any question you have in real not IT language. I wish I had known them when planning my previous trip and am using them now for the forthcoming trip.I've told my friends and patients about the site and they love it too.

when booking my flight through Rome2Rio that i have done for years, without a problem.
this time i thought I would use PayPal thinking it would be safer. when booking my first flight from London to Bangkok. every time i would go into there PayPal link, as i chose pay in three the full amount would come off. then the money come off my account . half an hour later it would reverse, this happened many times. clearly a glitch in there system. eventually i went on by paying the full amount and it went through. then i wanted to book a flight to Koh Samui. we were traveling with friends and were deciding which dates to fly i had two tabs open, waiting for us to decide which one. i was in one tab, i realised i was in the wrong date and the price had doubled and tried to go back. and the transaction went through, but it never reversed and tickets were issued. i contacted them immediately. explaining the situation. they then responded saying they were to investigate, but would take 4 months (good customer service) just a ploy to keep your money. i then booked another flight on the correct days, trusting this would be above board. i contacted them a few times and was told to wait to the 10th of April. nothing happened, I started calling every day, been told they have escalated it. nothing was happening i asked for why there is a delay. then all the stories started from they are busy with it and they would call me back in 24 hours, this never happened. then i was told they are waiting for a answer from Bangkok airlines, then i was told they cant refund me till they refund them. i then contacted Bangkok Airlines who knows nothing about it.4 and half months later they have done nothing to resolve the matter. then they told me to contact my bank, who told me the vendor must refund me, the same with Bangkok Airlines who told me only the vendor can refund me, the vendor must open a case with them, then they can do something about it. there is no intention from Go to Gate to refund me, i have paid for six return flight and i am only using two. because they have made no effort to resolve the matter, there intention was to defraud me. this must be allowed to happen hard working people to be scammed out of there money, DO NOT USE GO TO GATE they will steal your money.
its now a year and 5 months with no refund, no communication.

I was having problems finding transportation within Ireland. The bus company's website wasn't working, so Marisa gave me contact information for the company and my problems were solved! I found her to be very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend Rome2Rio!
