Update to previous warning

Further to my previous review in July re our order of 50 church chairs for our tiny church in Adlington placed in December 2023, we still have not received our chairs despite this company still having our money.

8 weeks ago we were told that the company was in the process of changing their manufacturer from a factory in Poland to a uk factory and that we would hear about a delivery date shortly. We have not had any communication from this company since despite sending emails and leaving answerphone messages as they do not answer our calls.

I would warn anyone considering placing an order with them to read through all the reviews and then find an alternative.

This company is a waste of time. FRAUD ALERT

This company is a waste of time. We have ordered chairs in June 23 and still waiting for them. Poor and unvalidated excuses given each time. Poor comms and now refusing to give our money back. I will be pursuing action under the Consumer Rights Act as they are in breach, their claims that they cant refund me is bogus.

Do not use this company

Invoice paid in full in June. We are now almost in September, still waiting for a delivery date and it does not look like we are going to get one any time soon.

Do not use this company, St Mary de Ballaugh, Isle of Man

As the case with previous reviews, we ordered 8 chairs back in November 2022 for our church, paid up front. The chairs are always ‘on the next lorry’ but they never arrive. We asked for a refund but received nothing. We are now referring it legally. This company should NOT be trading,
it continues to take money from people without delivering any goods. DO NOT use.

St Peter’s church Hopton Stafford

St Peter’s church Hopton Stafford, purchased our chairs some 30 years ago. Comfy fabricated seats, on an ash frame.
They have recently had a clean up and Rosehill have been able to supply us with some replacement stoppers. Not bad customer service after 30 years.

Very, very poor

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. We are a small independent school and placed an order of school chairs in December of last year. Following many many emails and phone calls we still have no chairs and no date of delivery. The same guy keeps fobbing us off with pitiful excuses. We have now requested a full refund to be met with no response at all. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Great post sale customer service

I purchased outdoor seating chairs for our small business last year. They did take a few weeks to get here, but rosehill kept in touch with me about the delivery. Once the chairs got here, it was all good for a short while but then some of the chairs started unravelling and one broke within a few months of light use. What impressed me about their customer service is that I contacted them about the issue and sent them pictures. They got in touch with the manufacturer and organised for the damaged chairs to be picked up and replaced with new ones very promptly with very little fuss, keeping in touch with me about the delivery. I can't fault their post sale customer service, very impressed. Shame about the chairs but Rosehill dealt with the issue in a great way.

Do not order from this company

It has been almost a year since we ordered a lectern, chairs and benches for our Grade II listed chapel at our cemetery. We still have not had delivery, or a date of when we will get our furniture, that we had to pay for in advance. They have had over £18k and we have nothing to show for it

If I could give 0 stars I would. 1 is too many, not sure where their factory is based but it takes a whole year to receive your items. Buyer beware! Expect poor communication and poorer service.

We have been waiting for over 9 months…

We have been waiting for over 9 months for our order now. No further information (no email or phone call) has been provided despite my specific requests for an update. Very poor customer service as they have no idea if the chairs have been made or when they will be delivered.

Poor Customer service

Waited 3 weeks with nothing materialising then told to phone back week 4 . Phoned 5 days on the trot as they never contacted me, day 5 I requested a refund due to inability to produce goods or give update and they magically have the product so will not be giving a refund. Will it turn up next week ?? Who knows.

DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER SERVICE

We ordered chairs for our congregation and was given a date of "approximately 31st July 2022. Several emails, telephone calls to them, resulted in the chairs being delivered the first week in January 2023. No apology but a third of the payment is due to be paid and they have instructed solicitors to take legal action for the balance. No apology or concession for the delay which we only knew was happening when we emailed or phoned. Our organisation and other Christian communities have used their services for years, and we would have expected the courtesy of calls etc to confirm the reasons for the delay. Our payment of the balance will be made by the end of the month as promised.

I ordered a cushion in August of last…

I ordered a cushion in August of last year. I paid, in advance, £143.70 for one cushion and was told I would receive it 8-10 weeks. Near the end of the 10 weeks I asked if it was on schedule, and was told no. I later learned the product wasn't manufactured in the UK. It is 8 months later and I still have never received this. They have refused to issue me a refund on the basis that it has apparently been manufactured already. They have left me powerless to do anything about this. I understand that there are exceptional national circumstances, and if i had ordered pre-lockdown I would be more understanding. They have left me with absolutely no recourse. I really wish i had never ordered from them.
