We decided to have a big holiday to the USA for my 40th. As a family we haven’t visited the USA before and didn’t know where to start.
I posted on Facebook looking for recommendations for a company to book with and Route Trip USA where recommended so many time.

They have been fantastic 🫶🏼. They curated a trip from Austin, Fredricksburg, ranching at the Dixxi Dude ranch, San Antonio, Gruene and back to Austin. They where fantastic and the support and information they provide is second to none

We had some minor issues and they were they for support and guidance when needed.

Highly recommend these guys if you’re planning a trip to the USA.

We can’t wait to book our next adventure with them

I wish i could give a 1000 stars, we have just returned from our convertible on the 66 trip. It was amazing, Stephen had given us so many hints and tips to help us on our way which where invaluable.
Absolutely the best trip we have ever done and the organisation that Stephen had done for us was fantastic. I would highly recommend Routetrip USA.

Though I had written this review last year - but no - so here goes .....;

I wish there were an option to give 10 stars, because that is what Stephen and Chantal deserve. I met them at a Destinations show pre covid and we later booked a group trip to Alaska on a cruise and through Canada on the Rocky Mountaineer. 20 of us went and, even though Covid put up obstacles and then the cruise was cancelled just days from departure, they pulled it off for us.

Their communictions are second to none. The info pack sent with all those goodies and even some USD for our taxis, was perfect. The fact that plans had to be changed to add a three hour road trip across the US border and back again and hotels booked as we had to move the trip forward two days, were accomodate for us. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

The cruise was full of little extras too. We would not hesitate to book another US trip with you again.

Wow Wow Wow! If you are thinking of doing Route 66, then look on further than this company and Stephen! We have just returned a week ago from this trip of a life time. It was all organised with such expertise, from the hotels booked for us, to the itinerary sorted for us by Stephen. A few of the highlights were meeting Jerry McClanahan ,the author of the EZ 66 guide. He is the most pleasant person you could meet, who is only too happy to talk about Route 66 and give you updates of what to look out for. The Helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon is something we will not forget.
Finally to Stephen who was always on hand to help us over the phone, no matter how silly the question or the time of day.
Thank you once again Stephen and all at Route 66 for making this a trip of a life time!

‘If there is one time that you need assistance from a travel company, it’s for a big road trip’ … is the conclusion we arrived at having started trying to plan what we might do for 21 days in the USA ahead of our son’s graduation over there. Where to go, where to stay, what to see? It was complicated knowing where to start and how to go about getting the most from the time there, in as hassle free way as possible. After the uncertainty covid, we were conscious that there was additional risk of things going wrong if we booked things individually ourselves. The thing that nailed it for us was coming across online reviews for The American Road Trip Company and subsequently looking at the website and all you offered. Wow! This seemed like the ideal solution, if only you were as good as the reviews said! (fingers & toes crossed!!)

Our early discussions with your team were brilliant and filled us with confidence. You listened to what we wanted, gave suggestions and made things so easy, as we jointly shaped & tweaked how the trip might look, finally agreeing on what we hoped would be a trip of a lifetime.

Boy, we were not wrong!! We had such a fabulous time, saw so many amazing places and met wonderful people.

The itinerary book (how excited were we when it arrived!) was our ‘bible’, with routes & suggested places to visit, enhancing the journeys between stops.

Corinne was brilliant throughout and at the end of an email, even on Easter weekend, when a small issue arose. Replying straight away, to sort things out, it was great to know someone was there to call on, if need be.

People ask ‘what was your favourite place?’, ‘what did you most enjoy?’ and we struggle to find an answer as everywhere we went, without exception, had something unique and memorable to offer… the hilly roads of San Francisco, the vineyards of Napa, the spectacular National parks - we visited 5, each very different and stunning, Pacific Highway, the madness of Vegas, floating the Verde river in the hot sun, wading upstream waist high in river water in Zion, seeing Humpback & killer whales off Monterey, climbing red rocks, seeing bobcats, amazing sunrises and sunsets… the list really does go on & on.

The trip was more than we could have hoped for and was so well planned that all we had to do was enjoy the ride!

We recommended ARTCo to family just after we booked our trip… their trip was amazing too. We have mentioned the company to many others & were only at a wedding this weekend when someone told us they were trying to work out how they might best do Route 66. ‘Ah ha!’ we said, then shared our experiences, showed them the website and gave them your details.

A huge thank you to you all for making our trip so seamless & wonderful. I’m sure we will be in touch again soon.

We have just returned from our trip of a lifetime driving Route 66 and the Pacific Coastal Highway and what a fantastic time we have had.
From the first contact through to arrival home Stephen at RouteTrip USA has been amazing.
The itinerary he planned had so much thought and detail and the most amazing places to stay and visit.
It was even so easy through the numerous postponements due to Covid, the trip was rearranged with no hassle and no cost.

Whilst we were unable to take our holiday due to COVID, our experience with RouteTrip was excellent. Meticulous planning of our road trip with much attention to detail, then courteous and prompt reaction to cancellation resulting in a full refund. I would definitely book with RouteTrip again

I want to say an enormous thank you to Stephen at RouteTrip USA. My trip to the USA was ill-fated from the start, but Stephen couldn't possibly have done more to make the best out of a bad situation. All communications were prompt, well-informed, and friendly - and when things started to go awry, Stephen was supportive and empathetic. I couldn't have asked for more - it's just a shame I wasn't able to go on the trip! Hopefully I'll be able to book through RouteTrip USA in the future.

Right from the start, working with Stephen as a partner in building our Route 66 / Route 1 trip was very rewarding. Such a fantastic experience using RouteTrip USA for my 'Blues Highway' trip. Stephen is both friendly and professional. I had the trip organised but had to reschedule due to a change in family circumstances. Stephen had the change in dates sorted that afternoon. I work in customer service so I have high standards when it comes to this sort of thing. RouteTrip USA have not only met my expectations of excellent customer service but surpassed them. I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip to America. Fantastic!

An incredible company to deal with who made a dream holiday come true with ease. Everything was perfectly tailored to our needs, with all the information we needed to make a truly memorable trip!

I contacted RouteTrip USA as my own efforts to plan our holiday were proving very time consuming. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to come back with a suggested itinerary, adapting their Pacific Highway plan to our requests and within our budget.

Once booked, the after sales care was very good with confirmations sent promptly and then followed up with their bespoke information pack for our trip.

On the holiday everything ran very smoothly for all the check-ins, excursions and car hire we had booked, with all the hotels which were selected for us of a good standard.

I wouldn't have anything to fault with the service we've received. I would definitely recommend RouteTrip USA and will use them again if planning another trip in the United States.

I have no hesitation in recommending Route Trip USA for booking a touring holiday in the USA. The bespoke preparation for our Route 66 trip was first class. Stephen provided us with useful advice on the itinerary and peace of mind knowing I had a contact in the UK should anything untoward happen.

Excellent itinerary, which took in some amazing national parks around the Grand Canyon that I was not aware existed. Very good selection of quality hotels, especially on Las Vegas strip, and in Monument Valley. Added benefits are guide book and loan of US mobile phone.

A fantastic service, very personal and extremely helpful and knowledgeable, have already recommended to friends and would recommend to everyone else look for a bespoke service for their next road trip across the americas.

I can’t rate this company highly enough. I would give them 10 stars if I was able. From the time my husband and I met Steven at the Destinations Show in London to the very end of our epic Route 66 road trip, he couldn’t have been more helpful. He worked with us on amending and adding a couple of places, fitting it all into a great schedule. The motels and hotels he chose were excellent, with a mix of comfy for before and after travelling, and in between a great selection of iconic motels. A SatNav was supplied which proved to be not only helpful in finding our way but also flagging up photo opportunities as we rode along. A package arrived a couple of weeks before we left which included a booklet describing each stop and hotel, plus detailed maps of each state, flight details etc.
Just also to add that we were due to fly out with BA who were on strike the day we were due to leave. Again, great service as within a day we were rebooked on another airline.
A great company and we would without hesitation certainly recommend it.

I did a bespoke road trip taking in the western half of Route 66, from Oklahoma City to Santa Monica, with a detour to Monument valley and Grand Canyon. I drove up from Dallas Fort Worth and picked up route 66 just east of OKC after a flying visit to Jerry McLanahan, the author of the famous EZ66 guide to the road.I was averaging around 200 miles a day, which meant a fair amount of time behind the wheel but not so much as to become exhausting I paId for the dedicated route 66 satnav, which allows you to stay on the route rather than (as a normal satnav would do) send you along the quickest route - which is usually Interstate 40, You do end up using i-40 quite a lot, as some parts of Route 66 are closed, and in many places the two routes run parallel.
One of the unexpected pleasures of the route is how EMPTY of traffic it frequently is - I often found myself driving for mile after mile without sight of another car! There are so many interesting things and places to see along the way, and you can stop off wherever you like - the EZ66 guide is great for pointing out hidden gems that most of us would probably overlook.
Satnav is indispensable, especially if travelling solo (as I was); satnav takes all the stress out of driving (even in cities like OKC or Los Angeles).
Overall this was a memorable trip, with many highlights, including hiking into the Grand Canyon, exploring the cool city of Santa Fe, roadside diners unchanged since the '50's and overhauling giant freight trains as we all head West! Driving across America you really gain a sense of the sheer scale of the country, and see thing and meet people you wouldn't otherwise encounter.

Wow! Where to start... this might possibly be the best customer service I have ever received. Stephen at route trip USA was amazing! As well as his colleague Chantal quickly stepping in on his short absence. Unfortunately it was a trip I couldn’t attend due to personal reasons but Stephen did everything he could in trying to make things work for me as well as tailoring the trip to suit me perfectly. Trying to keep my costs down where possible and recommending hotels that are more desirable. In the future I would always use Stephen/ Route trip USA as the service he provided was brilliant and I would recommend them to everyone! Thank you again

Had a great road trip through Deep South- all hotels were great and suggestions re tours and eating were very helpful. Enjoyed time in Pensacola on beautiful beach was a great time out for a couple of days.
