Save your money and use another supplier.

We ordered a trellis arch. Worst quality item I've ever received. It took weeks longer than it stated for the item to be delivered, judging by the other reviews we actually got it quiet quickly in comparison... Two of the pieces of wood were damaged, one piece looked like it was damaged prior to deliver due to them using cheap quality wood. And to top it off 3 of the 5 rafters had only been half cut out so it would have been impossible to fit it all together. Clearly no quality control and happy to take your money and deliver obviously faulty goods.

Rubbish

Ordered a Rowlinson Shed through Sheds.co.uk specifically because the delivery was 14 to 21 days. Waited almost a month. Rowlinson didn't respond to the retailers requests for updates. If they can't be bothered updating their retail supply chain (who presumably deliver large order values) they obviously aren't interested in individual consumers or the promises they make. Gave up in the end and cancelled my order. Complete waste of time and effort.

Absolute disaster

Absolute disaster, avoid like the plague. Non-existent email support - automated message says not to expect a response due to IT upgrade which was completed in March! Phoneline minimum 40 minutes to talk to 'overwhelmed team'. Promises of shipping, non-existent tracking numbers, over a month wait now for a simple picnic bench. Nightmare company, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Avoid

0 stars if I could. I think the good reviews are from the customer service team at Rowlinson as everything has been shocking from start to finish. Ordered picnic tables, in stock and means to be delivered, then went missing, then promised a date to be delivered and it didn’t arrive until the following day. Terrible company

Shocking customer service, no goods received, avoid

Like other reviewers on this site, I have received absolutely shocking customer service from Rowlinson, If I could leave a 0 star review, I would do so. Delivery of shed was originally delayed by over 2 weeks. I then waited in on 3 separate days for promised and confirmed delivery, after hours spent on the phone to their customer services phone line. Still no shed turned up. Eventually after repeated emails to Head of Customer Services, it turns out that I had been given false information by customer services and that the shed was no longer in stock and was never due to be delivered despite repeated reassurance by customer service staff that it was on the way. I would urge everyone to avoid this company at all costs. We lost 3 days, 2 of which were holiday days, waiting for the shed to arrive. Despite repeated emails to Management staff, I have received no assurance that they will look into their customer service processes and ensure other customers are not affected in a similar way.

Wonderful!

After a terrible experience of trying to purchase garden furniture from Homebase, and an extensive online search, I bought some from Rowlinson. Although the wooden chairs were labelled as seconds, they were in perfect condition - only the boxes were damaged. These, and the table, were a bargain price and fantastic quality - much better than those that I returned to Homebase. The customer service was vastly better too. Everyone that I spoke to at Rowlinson was very courteous and helpful. Wonderful!

Excellent Customer Service

I ordered a triple bin store from Amazon and when it arrived half was missing and via its journey one of the doors had got damaged.
After spending nearly 2 hrs discussing the issue with Amazon, I just asked for the suppliers’ details and that I would deal with them direct.
I emailed them on 1st Feb to let them know what was missing and what had been damaged. Tuesday morning, I got acknowledgement of my email and an apology for the inconvenience this may have caused. I then dealt with Glenys who told me my items would be delivered within 2 working days. On Thursday 4th February missing and damaged items were delivered to my doorstep.
Brilliant customer service and a great product

Ordered Alex heritage bin store.

Ordered Alex heritage bin store.. arrived damaged so rejected. Another three deliveries and still missing and faulty parts! Company I ordered from refused partial refund. Wanted the log store to match the bin store and took a gamble, hoping it would be okay. Opened the package to find they had packed it when the paint was still wet! This meant several parts had all but glued together and when I attempted to prise them apart, the wood split. Future to this, the product is grey wash colour but they’d inexplicably sent three fascias that had been painted white! Infuriatingly, I’ll be offered no explanation this this whatsoever.. like the last time, it’ll be a generic ‘sorry email’ and no compensation for my time being wasted.

Do yourself a favour and avoid any company selling Rowlinson products.. they’re garbage!

Bought the Bunbury Rattan Garden Furniture through Paving Superstore, on delivery, found one of the legs on one of the chairs badly damaged. Contacted Paving Superstore straight away who passed it back to Rowlinson as the furniture was delivered straight from them. Waited nearly 3 weeks for a reply off Paving Superstore, so rang them, they stated that Rowlinson were out of stock and couldn’t give me a date for a replacement. I contacted Rowlinson directly and explained the issue, they delivered a replacement within 3 days! Excellent service! Thank you

Do not buy anything from this Company

Do not buy anything from this Company. I bought a rowlinson Marberry cascade planter. It was delivered with the bottom base broken. I spoke to Rymans who we bought it from. They asked me to supply photos of the damage. They got in touch with Rowlinson but no reply from the company. They emailed the company many times but received nothing. Rymans picked up the planter and refunded me the money. Thank you Rymans you were very efficient can’t say the same for Rowlinson

I bought a 10X6 woodlap style metal…

I bought a 10X6 woodlap style metal shed on the Wickes website. Everything that you would expect from a purchase of this sort has been missing. Communication: disastrous, both to me and between Wickes and Rowlinson. I was told I would be given a delivery date, BS, they turned up one day with the 141Kg box, "Where shall we put it?". Still preparing the ground for it I left it in the garage. A wwek later, lorry turns up with "fence panels". Not mine I said, not realising the base comes separately. How would I know, unless I had been told? It wasn't until the day of the build that I realised only half the base was delivered. Then the fun starts. In the end I bought timber and built the other half myself. Anyway, the point is, I repeatedly called and called both Wickes and Rowlinson, and neither cared enough to carry out their promises, or let me know at any point, if or what was going on. Rubbish. Shed's not bad though :o)

Bought a summer house from them a few…

Bought a summer house from them a few years ago and both doors and a window had started to rot. One door in particular had got so bad I had to take it off before it fell apart. Contacted their support to ask if I could buy replacements and they asked for photos to be emailed which I did. Took a little time but they contacted me to say as a gesture of good will they would have new doors and a window made up (as the model is now out of production) and would get them delivered to me and I only had to pay for postage. Superb response by them which I applaud.

Wrenbury round top arch

Purchased Wrenbury round top arch through third party supplier. Were a couple of fixings missing so emailed Rowgar directly, glad to say parts arrived within two days. All now in place looks great. Very pleased with quality and customer service

Terrible quality garage

Terrible quality garage. Might as well scrap it, panels are extremely thin. Intructions are for multiple sizes and very poor instructions of building procedures, Screws for panels and roof are garbage, I extremely recommend you seek another type of shed.

Worst customer experience I have ever …

Worst customer experience I have ever had anywhere. Do not buy. Ordered a small shed, delivered with floor panels and OSB roof panels soaking wet - completely drenched. Rest of the build was of poor quality, badly constructed with very knotty wood. I complained, so ordered a refund through the organisation I bought off, arranged for next day delivery of replacement panels. When the replacement delivery arrived, they had supplied only 1 of the three replacement panels, which had been agreed. Sorriest tale of woe I have heard. Worst company I have ever used.
