The crew and naturalist did a great job throughout. The accommodations were very nice and a good value.

Quality of the food and service exceeded my expectations and I have traveled quite a bit around the world, experiencing high-end luxury products.

The intimacy of eight cabins and the price point attracts a more engaging clientele; worldly but not pretentious.

The well-trained and friendly staff made this trip a successful and memorable one. The chef’s prepared exquisite meals of local foods and fish and many other favourites. Our every need was catered to. Thanks for the most wonderful holiday!

My husband and I had a SUPER time in the Galapagos on the Galapagos Horizon (7night/8 day itinerary B)! The service was spectacular, the food great (including all of the snacks and drinks we got every time we came back from an excursion), the crew super nice, the itinerary awesome. I loved the way we were chauffeured from airport to hotel to ship and back. Our naturalist, Frederico, was great and very knowledgeable (I teach college biology, so I know!). And no one tried to sell us anything the whole time (unlike other cruises I have taken). I would absolutely recommend this cruise to anyone who wants to see the Galapagos!

Excellent crew and yacht. We really enjoyed the great crew and the excellent service they provided. We also loved the itinerary. It was fun having one dinner off the boat in such a beautiful location.

Royal Galapagos was very easy to communicate with, was receptive to our ideas to enhance our trip, made ease of travel and coordination of transfers and baggage simple and effortless, answered our myriad of questions completely and in a timely manner.

The actual excursion on the Grand Majestic was superb. Accommodations, food, service, excursions, amenities, were well planned and executed. Staff became family, and our experience was enriched by their presence.

We cannot say enough about the impact this trip has had on us. Highly recommended royal Galapagos and grand majestic.

The experience of a lifetime! Everything from the booking experience to the trip itself was great. Our boat, Grand Majestic, was beautiful with a brilliant crew and amazing food. Our guide was unbeatable and the itinerary was full on but brilliant.

When booking, be aware that it’s an active trip, with at least one snorkel and walk each day, sometimes two. Only book if you’re able to participate fully, if not you’ll miss out!!

From the expert planning advice we got from Andrea Erazos on the Royal Galapagos travel coordination team, to the surprise welcome as soon as we reached the Quito airport for our flight to Baltra, to the simply perfect coordination and information James - our wildlife naturalist onboard the Angel - gave us. He was funny, memorable, prepared us for what to expect, then told us so many stories that were interesting for all the different ages in our group (17-76). He catered to my dad's needs so none of our hikes left him behind and none of our younger travelers ever felt held back. Our cabin steward (Ginger) was so attentive and kept 16 cabins made up at all times. (She was a whirlwind.). Ale - our bartender - was fun and kept our group entertained and welcomed back onboard with snacks and drinks. Our tinder drivers were careful, attentive - the entire crew worked to make our wet and dry transfer safe and comfortable for all. And the rest of our crew helped make this the most amazing vacation of our lifetimes. 16 travelers, and 16 votes that none of us have ever had a better vacation. And when I fell on day 2 and injured my left foot, James, Ginger and Ale all took turns helping with my bandages, cleaning away sand, cleaning and caring for the would at the end of each day's excursions - even recommending - "this snorkeling won't be very different from yesterday - if you want to skip one to rest your injury, skip today - not tomorrow." The top deck clothesline was a nice surprise. Our snorkeling gear was well-organized. And the crew was flexible to meet all of our needs. And your chef surprised us all with the quality of our meals. There was something for everyone on this trip and your team made is so much easier and more special for all of us.

The cruise was truly excellent. The yacht was lovely, the crew were fabulous, the guide was extremely knowledge and fun, the food was great and the other passengers were excellent company.

Once in a lifetime experience! We loved the Royal Galapagos Horizon - the ship, the team, the entire trip was amazing. We especially enjoyed the smaller boat and having the islands to "ourselves" with the opportunity to get up close to so many birds and animals. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous trip! The crew was fantastic, the food was fresh and healthy, and the daily hikes, walks and snorkeling were unparalleled. The crew took amazing care of us. I cannot recommend The Horizon enough. I'm even planning to go back to sail with them next year on another route.

The cabins were huge compared to ocean liners. And I loved, loved, loved the private balcony (which all the cabins have). I loved stepping out on it in the night to see the abundant stars. I could see the Milky Way quite clearly.

Being up close with all the animals was an amazing experience. Sea lions who could come right up to you in the water or on land, birds that didn't fly away, and other land animals who were perfectly fine with you being a few feet away. I got some amazing photos.

If you've been wanting to go to the Galapagos, don't wait, and opt for a small yacht like The Horizon. The trimaran made the trip so comfortable -- there was only one night where the seas were rough. But other than that, it was so comfortable.

Company was easy to work with. Boat was beautiful and comfortable. Crew was astonishing. Naturalist (Fabian) was knowledgeable and awesome. All these things are true before we even get to the ridiculously amazing trip.

We had an amazing time on the Royal Galapagos. The food was very tasty. The excursions were well planned and we were kept busy the entire time with both land excursions and great snorkeling locations. The boats accommodations were also incredible. The state rooms are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. Thank you again

Royal Galapagos delivered a seamless experience, from our arrival through our departure. We were escorted through the airports, the catamaran is beautiful and spacious, our guide was personable and had an excellent understanding of the wildlife and geology of the Galapagos, the food was excellent and fresh and our crew doted on us. I’ve recommended Royal Galapagos to friends.

The people were great. From the booking process to the naturalist to the boat crew. They truly did a great job every step of the way. They even hosted a birthday party for my daughter that went way above.

We had such a fantastic time on the Cormorant II, the crew was so attentive to us, the food was delicious, the boat was gorgeous, and all activities were well organized and fun. We loved coming back to the boat after an activity to damp hand towels, juice and snacks, after swimming to warm towels and the evening recap with our fabulous naturalist.

One of the best if not the best vacations of our lives. The combination of adventure and luxury was intoxicating. Thoughtful itinerary and warm, hospitable crew. Fascinating excursions, hikes, snorkeling, and kayaking, not to mention first class service and delicious, plentiful (3 huge meals and snacks and happy hour) in between. Considering returning with our grown kids for the 8 day A Itinerary; this review is for the 8 day B itinerary
