We had a medium sized move
We had a medium sized move, but with more breakable items. Christian was our rep and reassured us everything would be packed and padded nicely. The moving company arrived timely at the new place. The packing job exceeded tetris, plus none of my things were broken.
Sendless. Thanks guys
Royal palms is not a real company
We should have done our due diligence first! Before warned don't use this company! Read the reviews! they are not Up-and-Up,they write contracts that benefit them and do not honor what they say they are going to do.
They write the contract so that the pick up date and the drop off date are in the same box and that creates them a weak window of pick up with no drop off date. Then you have to negotiate the drop off date with the Van line that picks you up and they will try to charge you more money. They told me that they would call me back before end of business for pick up to be arranged then they told me that pick up was arranged for the next business day in the morning finally they gave me the phone number to the Carrier and I called them they have no idea about any pick up other than what was scheduled for the 1st of September.
Tyler who was our sales rep we went with because he knew Colorado he was from Colorado we thought that he was trustworthy, and low and behold he was not.
He was just in it for putting a dollar in his pocket and created the contract with Malice Intent. We were moving my Mom from one nursing home in Colorado to another in Indiana. Her belongings were supposed to be picked up on the 28th of August. They did not honor that they said they had a weak window to pick it up between 28th and the 2nd of September my Mom was moving into her new Nursing home on the second so the pickup day was supposed to be the 28th and the drop off date was supposed to be the second that didn't happen. They wouldn't give me my money back I have a credit that's good for a year and I'm sure if I gave it to anybody to use they'd have the same experience. this company is a scam they're a broker they're not working directly with a Carrier it's a complete garbage setup don't use them they act very nice but they just want your deposit And then don't care if you get picked up or not.
This is a scam. Call movers instead.
The customer service agent said they were a moving company and denied to was a broker. Jason made promises the company had no intention of providing.
THIEVES
If there was a zero. I would give them that
They are Thieves. You will be ripped off in every way. Do not use them.or you will be sorry. They lie cheat abd steal
They are not a moving company They are a broker and very dishonest.
,DO NOT USE THEM THEY ARE NOT A MOVING COMPANY BUT A BROKER
AND CHRIS IS NOTHING BUT A LIAR TO GET YOUR MONEY AND YOU WILL NEVER GET TO SPESK TO HIM AGAIN.
RUN!!! SHADY SCAMMERS & LIARS
RUN!!! SHADY SCAMMERS & LIARS
Every single review with the above wording shares EXACTLY what we went through. It has been a MISERABLE experience and the BROKER who signed us up declared he wasn't a broker and then never answered his phone again after taking our money.
The company they hired did the same bait & switch that others described - over $1,000 MORE than was originally quoted and we had actually removed a few items that my son no longer wanted! Then, they claimed that packaging materials were not included when we had asked that question SPECIFICALLY of the broker.
I also had a friend who I was going to recommend to them with 6,000 square feet of furniture to move from GA to FL. They wouldn't even call us back to review the estimate!! That was our first tip that this was not a reputable company. We saved those folks the move and found a great company who delivered on the day they said they would AND with no breakage.
I drove 3 hours to meet the mover (at 8AM on 7/20). They showed up FIVE hours late and then held our furnishings hostage from 7/20 through 8/8/2023.
The mover broke several items AND 3 items didn't even arrive and were not on the truck. They were expensive tools so, we assumed they were stolen and sold.
This will be reported to the BBB and the Secretaries of State as they crossed state lines with our belongings (at least SOME of them).
These people are DESPICABLE - If you're thinking of hiring them, read the REAL reviews and not the paid ones.
Thank you so much for all your hard…
Thank you so much for all your hard work. Moving is such a stressful time and you guys made it as easy as possible.
Scam company. Charge deposit and ghost you after
Scam company. Nicholas M lied about services offered and delivery time. Collected a deposit and then did not answer his phone after deposit was collected. Called multiple times. Called from a different number and he magically picked up. Called the corporate number, but it is a call center in India. No one had a clue where my "assigned" driver was on the scheduled pick up day. No one showed up and the company did not refund my deposit. Save yourself the trouble and use a more reputable company.
For anyone else that has been scammed by this company, please be sure to file a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. They are the regulating body for this industry. Just google "how to file a complaint with FMCSA" and the first link will take you to the complaint form. For your reference, the company's DOT #: 3419826
You can call in or submit your complaint online. Hopefully we can prevent this from happening to someone else
Update: Move number was 7946139. My broker specifically said my items would be delivered directly to my destination on the same day. This is false advertising. The mover ended up calling me at 6pm the day after my scheduled move and said he could be at my house by 9pm. My items would be delivered to a warehouse in Houston and then shipped to Tulsa at an unknown date. False advertising is a violation per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

SCAM - DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE COMPANY ! They are con losers
SCAMMERS. This place doesn't deserve a single star. These people are low lives who are completely unprofessional and want to do nothing but rob people of their money. Movers never showed up on moving day. Called them 5 times for them to keep moving the pickup time further back each time. Not to mention, the man I spoke to was a complete ass. This company is a broker and they hired another company with horrible reviews to move our stuff. Finally at 8 pm the driver calls and says "hey what's up" ???? Completely unprofessional and a SCAM. Do NOT use this joke of a company. They pay people to write reviews for them and it's clear. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE
Complete Scammers! Do your research!
If I could give this company 0 stars I would! Read recent reviews on Trustpilot....this place is a broker when they said they weren't, transferred our household goods to another shipping company to where my husband and I have been calling and emailing both companies to get an estimate on when our belongings will be delivered (put down asap at pickup since we already had a house) and we constantly get conflicting answers as to where our stuff is and if it was even loaded or not, and bottom line no answer. At this point I don't even know if we'll ever get our stuff. They never made their timeline twice, to pickup, rates kept changing even though I gave them an exact box count and large item count like they wanted and our estimate increased almost $4000 at pickup. Not to mention they tried to charge $420 for tape and furniture blankets (which I already had and offered) BUT on the contract it states there is no charge for those items! They also hound on gratuity but yet say its optional and expected us to pay over $1200 in gratuity when it's been a disaster since I signed that contract. They have screened my calls and emails constantly so my husband started talking to them and eventually we keep getting hung up on at the company they gave our stuff too (Handle with Care). Bottom line, go for someone else! I was told it'd take 3-5 business days especially since I signed the contract prior to the summer season starting and I figured it would be a bit longer since it was a long move (TN to SD) but not to constantly know where our belongings are and never getting answer is beyond frustrating especially when you have 3 children and now have to buy additional household stuff since we have no clue if we're even getting our things. Id like to add my husband said we'll come down and get it ourselves with a rental truck and they refused to give us our stuff because they said we had to pay the remaining balance. Complete scammers!
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. I was told my stuff will arrive in 4 days, and two weeks passed and my stuff is still in my origin city.

Great affordable experience
I was surprised that my experience was as good as it was being that there were a few bad reviews and the price fortunately the move went very well my price didn’t exceed what I was quoted and my items were put together flawlessly. I had a great experience my rep. Brett instructed me to list all items on inventory to keep price the same. Thank you guys and thank you Brett
I would give ZERO stars if I could
I would give ZERO stars if I could. The rep told us LIES,LIES AND MORE LIES!
1. Stated they were NOT brokers-that they do the move themselves, and its a family owned/operated company using all of their own trucks but then we got a bill of lading from a different moving company.
2. The contracted moving company-NOT Royal Palm- showed up a day late and now would NOT guarantee delivery date which was stated on the contract with Royal Palms, and Royal Palms said that was only an "estimate" and it could actually take up to 7 business days from pickup date to delivery date. What were we supposed to do-sit in an empty new apartment?
3. Royal Palm then wanted to charge upwards of $2,000 MORE because they "made a mistake and forgot to include the 30 moving boxes" that the movers were supposed to pack, and only included the furniture. When we said that we should not have to pay for their error in quoting the job, that fell on deaf ears and were basically told "we will honor the original quote but we will not take the boxes-only the furniture". Who wants only part of their stuff when they move? And how am I supposed to get 30 large boxes-including wardrobe boxes to California from Texas!!! UPS?!?
4. Because they were a day late, we were afraid they would not do the pack up, so we incurred additional expenses because we ended up packing the boxes ourselves. They offered a $200 credit, but it costs us more than that for boxes/packing supplies/etc-not to mention how about MY LABOR?
5. Another mistake they made was regarding the fuel surcharge. We were quoted a 10% surcharge and they said "oops that was a mistake-it is actually 13%." They expected us to be ok with this extra charge too!
6. We obviously asked for a discount from this outrageous price and after much back and forth trying to negotiate the price with Sam, a female customer service rep from Royal Palm stated to us specifically and I quote "it looks like we are not going to be able to move you. its too expensive for us and too expensive for you". Her words exactly. NOW THEY WILL NOT GIVE US OUR $1,200 DEPOSIT BACK-it was THEIR CHOICE TO WALK AWAY.
Certainly a HUGE bait and switch. Steve V and Royal Palm were almost impossible to get ahold of before the move and told us so many lies-hard to even remember them all. STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
So now we are renting a UHAUL and driving to California ourselves with the help of local muscle to pack and unpack the truck.
Scammers!! This company likes to scam families of 7 year old disabled children! Run as fast as you can, we are out 3k so far from these losers!
Stephen and his company are 100% low life scammers. My family of 5 includes a very medically fragile 7 year old and this company had us sign a contract to move our family from az to tx and we put down a deposit of nearly 3k. He was very communicative allll the way up until moving day. The contract we signed was for $5500. When the movers got to our house they told us we would need to pay the $15k or they would not move any of our items!! Obviously with that HUGE discrepancy we told the movers we did not have that money and that we could not do that. So the movers left, didn’t even touch an item and now this company is ghosting me via phone and email to get my refund back. Thank goodness another company swooped in to save the day but royal palm moving and storage / royal palm interstate are literal pond scum. I can’t stress this enough, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are brokers and scammers. I specifically asked if they were brokers and they lied!! They told me they were direct carriers. They will give you a very low price to get you to book with them. Once they take your deposit and you are locked in, they call you the week before to get "exact inventory" and charge you nearly double the original quote. It doesn't end there either. When the actual movers showed up, they said the brokers (Royal Palm Moving) didn't enter appropriate cubic feet info and therefore I had to pay an additional $1,200. When I originally booked my move with them a month ago, there were no negative reviews, otherwise I would not have booked with them.
Also, what I find interesting is the names of the men that gave 5 star reviews, are names of employees that work there AND the only ones who had a negative experience with this company were women...
DO NOT USE THEM. I will be filing a complaint with better business bureau and I encourage everyone who had a similar experience to do the same.
Thank you so much
Thank you so much the move went smoothly. I was a little nervous being that this was my first time moving but you guys made it so easy. I’m so glad I chose you guys. Thanks again.
I would rate zero if i had the option
I would rate zero if i had the option. Totally scam. Dont trust these guys. Everything they say is lie. They charges me 1100$ extra despite of aggreeing on one price. I had no futniture, less stuff for the space they offered me still end up paying alot. Do go with them and save some money.
Don't trust this shady company!
Don't trust this shady company!! All brokers and not the original company that moves you. No follow thru or communication, and tried to add on other costs when they quoted another. If I could give them a 0, I would! Stay far away from this company!!
SHADY AF RUN!
This is happening in real time right now and I’m watching my best friend go through this. This is a broker, unbeknownst to her, and they quoted space and agreed to a second location for a few items. Upon arrival the the quoted space and price with absolutely 100% accurate inventory the independent contract and broker wanted 4k MORE on top of the deposit already given. Keep in mind she has LESS furniture and boxes than would fit into a Studio apartment. On top of that when we op’ed out of more space they no longer wanted to go to a second location and the independent contractor was completely HOSTILE on the phone and refused to tell us the company they worked for or affiliation with Royal Palm. He was like we can take what’s there or my guys can leave! How professional! Moving guys are super nice though and funny. Literally the only highlight to this terrible experience so far.
Super efficient move
Super efficient move. They saved me 1k from the quote I got from another moving company. Everything was packaged good. Very happy with them. 10/10 recommend
