My phone was only 5 months old and is unblemished. The quote was devalued by £100 due to apparent "scratches (some deep)". This is simply not true. I had a quote for c.£20 less from a shop on Tottnenham Court Road so I have asked for a return and I will sell there. Very odd experience; perhaps relies on people not being bothered with whole return and sell elsewhere aspect of such transactions. I feel the service to be somewhat dubious. I would not use again. Just my experience. Probably good if not selling latest model phone in top notch quality. Best price for these is selling privately. Probably ok for clearing out your cupboard and getting £20 a pop for old phones but that's about all.

Ok so lets break down my feedback

1) Valuation - For my phone it was just about the highest valuation , but beware you will need to pay postage.
2) Time to resolve - Well this wasn't good at all. For over a week my phone was lost in the system. I chased and amazingly it appeared on system next day. Then no payment for almost a week. I chased again and then apparently was found to be on next days pay run. From 16/1 I waited until 28/1 for resolution … I may edit tomorrow if not paid again.
3) Customer Service - Not a big operation here as I only ever got through to one person. Makes me wonder how big they are at all.

Won't be going back again. Worth the few quid less for peace of mind and quick resolution.

Price was the best for my phone I could find, just received confirmation of payment 5 days after they received the phone. Still waiting on payment....says payment within 24 hours, currently at 3 days!

This is the second time Ive used RPC. They've offered near the best price both times combined with good reviews. Easy process, they sent me out an envelope to use (I added a bit more padding as is didnt seem that protective for a phone), returned postage paid. Quickly got a confirmation email of receipt, and then confirmation of value/condition which was as quoted. Unfortunately the money didnt appear in my paypal account. I chased it up after a few days, and it was arranged pretty quickly. Not sure what happened, but resolved ok. Happily use again.

As several others have said, I received the email saying all is well and I would be paid within 24 hours. 2 weeks later, still no money and all emails/queries have been ignored.

Edited as payment now received. Over 2 weeks after confirmation email.

Cowboys. Offer a crazy valuation over the odds and offer free postage then tell you that you selected send by self. Obviously I didn't because why would I want to pay to send it. Then they tell drop the value by 20% for "scratches on the screen, one visibly deep" the phone was in a case it's entire life with a screen protector don't make me laugh. I bet they don't send it back first class recorded like the insisted I did. If i get it back ill update this review to 2 stars out of shock

Price achieved on my 2.5yr old iPhone 6s (£135!) was fantastic. Process was very simple with continuos updates along the way. Payment happened very promptly. Recommend!

RPC Recycle - via Trustpilot - poor service sent mobile phone for recycling - received email to agree payment - 15 days later still waiting to receive anything! Emails ignored. Website errors. Will be taking this further RPC recycle

Sent my phone for recycling - it was in perfect condition. Received an email to say I would receive confirmation within 24 hours of payment - 7 days later still waiting to receive anything! Logged on to my account, and guess what - there's an error when I tried to send my message although I've done everything they said. Would not recommend and will be pursuing this....
