I should have known it was a scam just by its name (a rube is an unintelligent person, usually a mark in a scam). But other than that the first indication that something was off was when my bank added a foreign transaction fee, when the website says it is based in California. I never received any tracking information. More than a month later when I contacted them they just sent me a cropped screenshot (that was probably fake). They say it was delivered but I never got my item. The credit card that I used started getting transaction requests for other sites and venders around the time that I started asking for my money back. Thankfully I used a merchant locked virtual card that I could just disable. Never got my money back but it could have been worse.

Ordered a run extension for my chicken coop back in May. Nothing showed up by mid June so I contacted rubeshop. They said it was delivered which was a lie. Then they put in a replacement order and ask me to be patient. Well, now its the end of July and still nothing received. Contacted rubeshop again and they the replacement shipment being received back on the 7th July. This item is large so you couldn’t miss it if it was delivered. Finally I asked to have the order cancelled and payment refunded. No response so I would say this is a scam!!

Same story- shopping for pet food and got the Microsoft message "Oh, you can get it cheaper here!".
We operate a no-kill shelter for abandoned cats and dogs and pet stuff is so expensive! But we felt a little suspicious because the prices were just too good to be true. So we came in here and saw all the scam reports and got ahold of the bank. Unfortunately, had to cancel the credit card. It was only an hour later but the charge had already gone thru. Thank you all for reporting. Saved us from getting scammed. "Rubes" we were.

If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. I ordered a lot of different items. None were received. No confirmation of order or a way to view order after purchase. Fake tracking information. Lots of fake excuses. No authentic customer service. I am surprised this site has not been shut down because it is a total scam.

yspyidatai I never received the Petique pet stroller I ordered or the fruit and nut birdfood. Rubeshop has fake tracking info that states factitiously the items were delivered. Rube shop's phone number is out of service and their website will not allow me to leave a message. In addition, the business does not respond to any emails.

Complete scam - address is an apartment in Oakland and telephone is a mobile orginating in LA that is associated with scamming/spam. The charge on your cc is YSP Jidatai and they charge more than you agreed to at check out. My bank is investigating.

The same thing happen to me with the last reviews microsoft suggested better price and didnt receive a confirmation i was trying to call the number and was invalid now i need to call the bank hopefully i get my refund back.

Obviously, a scam. The prices are way below what pet stores are even paying to stock their shelves! If it looks too good to be true...think! Don't do it!

Rubeshop.com is a scam company.
I ordered and paid a product for my pet that I have never received, nor I did not receive any email from them, or any other information confirming my purchase.

I don't know who to be more angry with - This place for ripping me off or microsoft for sending me to them. I was on Chewy. They are a complete and total fraud. No merchandise. No real contact information. I don't usually vet a site that a company I trust recommends. I guarantee I will going forward. I expected better from microsoft. This place is the worst.

Total scam. I ordered products, paid for them, never received them. However, I did get a charge on my credit card from a company in Hong Kong on the same date. Had to report the fraud.

This site is a scam! Do not fall for it… I ordered a cat stroller and they took my money no problem but never delivered even though they emailed delivery schedule from a fraudulent tracking site
I have reported to the Better Business Bureau, but I’m sure word-of-mouth is better. THIS SITE IS A SCAM

Was shopping on Chewy and Microsoft directed me to a "better price" on rubeshop.com. When I tried to order from rubeshop (should have known with that name) I kept getting a message that my card was declined, so I tried another card. Within 20 minutes I get fraud detection messages from both card companies-so now I have to spend my morning on the phone getting my cards replaced!

Concur with all below. Credit Card phishing SCAM!!! I went to Chewy.com, good old Microsoft coupons alerted me of a better price - which took me to Rubeshop. After I purchased I realized no email address required, which was odd. Came to this site and read reviews. Checked my credit card and there wasn't a charge posted for Rubeshop, but there was for clothing in Hong Kong for about the same amount. Got lucky and caught this in time (after the fact), but going through the hassle of canceling credit cards.

If you try to call the company, their mailbox is full. The contact form on their site doesn't work. And I found out after I placed the order that these people aren't authorized to sell the product I was trying to purchase.

What a "rube"! I placed an order - received a confirmation number (on the site - no email confirmation) . Never received the order - tried calling customer service but mailbox was full. Started seeing small unrelated charges - as "recurring monthly charges" on the CC that i used - had to replace the CC.

Scam will be disputing credit card charge placed two orders nothing arrived
