Great product, not the best communication on delivery but understood they were busy and service was friendly. Cost high but it was exactly what we required

Ordered the scaffolding boards and have had little or no communication with failed timeframes for delivery.

Great service cut and sanded my boards while I waited. I even got a cup of tea 🍵 Thank you. 5 stars i will be back soon.

Good boards, but extremely unreliable service. I had to chase six times regarding delivery and got messed around for weeks, Will never use them again!

Every now and again you come across a business that sells fantastic products, but is equally support it all with fantastic customer service. Rugged London is one such business. you can believe is these products and people.

Rugged London is a treasure trove of upcycled wood and materials (some quite rare finds too) just begging to be used for a creative diy project or for the more serious furniture making and/or decorating. I was fedup buying from the big box timber merchants, it just didn't feel right consuming newly felled timber when there's so much to be recycled out there. Rugged gets this, not to mention the gentlemen I met there knows a lot about restoration and even offered his time and advice if I needed. I highly recommend you consider Rugged before you start your next project.

I cannot speak highly enough of Rugged London’s Customer service. And in particular the Manager David.
After having problems getting the stock directly from a supplier I was directed to Rugged London who were able to assist me in my hour of need.
David went above beyond to ensure I had the product I needed on time.

Had to wait 2 weeks for a couple of brackets. Rugged London took ages and then didn’t order the right ones. I specifically bought from rugged london (near me) so I would avoid problems with delivery. Naive on my part to assume they had them in stock - or at least had a modicum of urgency. It meant that the guy doing my bathroom hasn’t been able to put the sink up. I’ll have to wait ages for him to be available again. The owner did give me a refund so 2 stars but as you can imagine - who cares? I need my bathroom finished not 30£. I think they are too busy doing shop fittings so small orders get ignored till last. Should’ve just ordered off eBay.

Fantastic service, very good pricing. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone was very helpful and clear about what boards they had.

Ordered 2 cut to size, sanded boards to use as shelves and 4 cast iron GWR brackets. Was ready within a few days for collection. Good price. Very friendly and gave advice on how to treat the boards. Would recommend.

I spent quite a lot of money (over £780) on scaffolding boards but had no email notification of when they would be delivered to me until I chased up Rugged via gum tree. I was told it would be a Thursday but when I chased up to ask what time, they said it would now be Friday.

Secomdly and most importantly, the lengths were not the full lengths. E.g. most 8fts were an inch or two short, Three or four of the boards had large cracks in them right down the middle. When I took the metal off them they were pretty much hanging together they were so bad and I couldn't use them. These are supposed to be "prime boards" They are not.
