Went above and beyond to advise me on my first time project regarding waxes and varnishing! I went away empowered to do it myself, not overwhelmed :) They also let me pop back and shave 1cm off my boards due to my shoddy measurements. I was helped by Charlie & David, both brilliant. Now I want to think up something else I can build with scaff boards! Lol oh btw they have a little shop of reclaimed furniture, and antique treasures out the back too. Loads of fun and inspo!

exactly what I ordered good price and good delivery

From start this seemed like a promising transaction. The people I spoke to were polite and helpful. The price was fair, and so the transaction went through without major issue. That is until the time of delivering the goods. I never received an update about delivery, but they do openly disclose that a delivery date will be confirmed. This never happened, so I had to chase it up. Chasing a delivery date was not something I had an issue with and I was offered a Friday as the delivery date from that call. Then this was changed to a Monday, but the Monday date slipped due to vehicle gearbox issues, only to be then told by another member of the team the vehicle was stolen. It could all be genuinely true and a run of bad luck so delivery issues aside, we received the goods some seven working days later. The goods arrived, but despite an initial call to them some three working days after order to chase a date, I was told on that call that they were going to dry out their stock as it got wet. Fair enough, but the planks still arrived so wet they looked as if they came from a river, and soaked deep into the timber. We are drying these ourselves to make them useable, but all in, this was a very frustrating and complicated transaction. I do hope this was a series of bad luck on their part, but a review has to be honest.

Great scaffolding boards

Just what I was looking for as part of a garden project. Order was turned around really quickly and boards were cut to my size requirements available for me to collect in a couple of days which I really appreciated. Would definitely
use again

Online order - arranged to pick up in person. The dude was super friendly when I went to collect - offered me a cup of tea and let me charge my phone for a while. I'll deffo be going back when I do my next project.

Over the moon. I ordered online after speaking with the owner, David, on the phone - who gave us a 10% discount due to the sustainable focus on our new venture. Very nice website too I must say and easy to book on. Unfortunately the wrong scaffold boards were delivered but as soon as we noticed they were swapped next day (although same day was offered but not necessary). First boards were much lower grade boards so I was not sure what to expect on the 2nd run. The new boards were perfect - not too good to not have a rugged look but just worn enough in order to get the look we wanted. All flat, split free and straight - all 35 of them - and David threw in a few extra too for our troubles. Not that it was really any trouble. I would thoroughly recommend Rugged London for Reclaimed Scaffold Boards base don my experience. An very personal service from the company director too which was totally unexpected. Wish I could post photos of our finished rustic shop shelf units!

Excellent product and service. Had exactly what i needed.

Didn’t deliver within the 4 days promised and considering delivery is £60 that wasn’t hugely impressive. However, the customer service aside from that was excellent. Very friendly, responsive,
And helpful staff. Driver helped me take all the wood inside too as was pouring with rain. Would use again although maybe not until I need enough wood again to make the delivery charge worth it.

Overall would definitely recommend.

Excellent service! Order prepared very quickly!

Great experience with RuggedLondon! We recently purchased some reclaimed scaffolding to make some bespoke shelves. Wood was sanded, cut to size and Charlie offered some great advice for treating and mounting. Even when we realised we got the measurements wrong, they re-cut the boards free of charge! Thanks so much Charlie and the team for your help and expertise. Highly recommended!
