Ridiculous delivery costs and time

Ordered socks at a very high price £15/pair. Delivery was also high at £7 for 3-5day delivery. Ordered on 30/11 provisionally dated for 2/12 delivery. Once purchase had completed got a date of 8/12 a 9 day delivery time for a pair of socks!! Such a small package that is a rip off waiting to see now if socks are actually worth this high price .... but I doubt it.

THEY LIED ABOUT DELIVERY DATE

I placed an order for running shoes on 25th November. I needed a quick delivery because of an upcoming race event. The website promised delivery on 27th / 28th and confirmed that the goods were dispatched to DHL on 25th. On 26th, I received an email from DHL saying delivery would be 'end of day' on 1st December. No event occurred between 25th and 26th, so nothing should have affected the delivery date. Runnerinn told lies about the delivery date, in order to 'reel me in' to make the purchase (based on early delivery) then immediately I got informed via their nominated delivery firm (DHL) that such dates were impossible to achieve. The 'chat' function on the Runnerinn website is useless - basically someone (or bot) that trots out the usual generic / boilerplate nonsense: '....sorry, blah blah, blah....dates can change due to factors, blah, blah, blah...'. A company whose policy is clearly to tell lies in order to secure a sale and hope they get away with it. Really terrible. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY

I oreded a pair of shoes and they charged me twice. Zero customer service. Two pairs of shoes arrived in the post. I've sent a return of the 2nd pair back and still haven't received my refund. This has been 2 weeks ago. They've basically stollen my money. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Frustrating and disappointing first…

Frustrating and disappointing first experience. Order placed on the 22nd October. Due to be delivered on the 29th. That exact day, Fastway Ireland was supposed to deliver but announced receivership. Runnerinn provided zero support. I have been contacting them multiple times. Last 2 times they just went silent.

It is more than clear that I won't receive my parcel but they won't give me the refund.

If their customer service needs they can check all I'm saying in the order 62991195.

J'ai récemment acheté une paire de tennis, mais à la réception, ce n'était pas la bonne taille. Après avoir envoyé plusieurs messages, leur première réponse était qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire. Ils m'ont finalement envoyé une étiquette pour le retour que j'ai dû payer, mais ils ont ensuite refusé le colis. Leur service client est malhonnête et médiocre. J'ai payé pour recevoir le colis, puis encore pour le renvoyer. La taille indiquée est trompeuse, et je déconseille vivement à quiconque souhaitant acheter sur ce site de faire preuve de prudence.
I recently bought a pair of sneakers, but when I received them, they were the wrong size. After sending several messages, their first response was that there was nothing they could do. They eventually sent me a return label, which I had to pay for, but then they refused the package. Their customer service is dishonest and poor. I paid to receive the package, and then again to return it. The listed size is misleading, and I strongly advise anyone considering buying from this site to be cautious.

Problem with return

Do not order with this company! I had to return a shoe, because it was too small. I used their return label and am being accused of sending it to the wrong recipient. The recipient is preprinted on their label, that their system generated. On my tracking status is said the parcel has arrived. They claim it hasn't, because it's been sent to the wrong country (which again, was printed on the label generated by their return system) and that I now have to wait until they forward it to where it originally should have been sent. Be very careful and check if the correct recipient is printed on their return label.

Delivered to an address that doesn’t…

Delivered to an address that doesn’t exist and was not what I submitted in my delivery details.

Customer service has been unhelpful and unwilling to help resolve (for £50 pair of trainers)

Also contacted the Post Office but the error is on the website side.

Disappointing experience all round.

UPDATE: the customer service team are asking me to complete a form - they won’t share the form, and when I speak to the post office, it is the SENDER that has to complete it - or have told me in 24 hours they will no longer reply!

I’ve asked for them to clarify what they want me to fill in, I’ve shown them that it is THEIR responsibility. And I’ve also stated that under the Consumer Rights Act - they are at fault and need to provide the refund or replacement.

They continue to refer to the so-called-form and tell me the clock is ticking.

Absolutely shocking response and not one I have experience with any other business.

The company have asked for my order number to review in the reply below - so here it is: 63150727

Can’t wait to hear what you have to say to resolve!

Great until you need to return!

Purchased a pair of trainers which arrived pretty promptly. However, the trainers didn’t fit and I needed to return. As per their returns policy, I paid for tracked return to the Hounslow address on their website. They arrived within a few days however had no acknowledgment from the business. I spoke to them on live chat to which they advised they hadn’t returned and sent me a screen shot of tracking in the Netherlands! Apparently once the arrive to the London address, they then move them internally. However under the consumer rights acts, you should be refunded once they arrived at the address they had stated ie London. After 4 weeks of back and forth with the business, I had to contact my bank for a chargeback. Charge back was approved. My return arrived into London 8 weeks ago and still no acknowledgement from runner inn

Do not buy from this store

Made an order at TradeInn/RunnerInn, where the estimated delivery date would be October 27/28.
What happened was that there were other delivery options, all paid, but obviously, I chose the one that would deliver the parcel faster from the date I was.
So the order was marked as delivered on October 26 in the middle of the night, with an estimated delivery time of October 29. That’s ok, I can accept that. However, today is October 31, the parcel has not been delivered yet, and the delivery status is the same from 3 days ago.
I requested support, but they can’t tell me anything specific, only generic messages.
I’m doing this review just to warn other people that even though you are paying for the delivery, they will not be able to accomplish that date because this company is a scam. If you need an item with some urgency, please don’t buy from this store. You will be without anything. Please check other reviews if you don’t believe in this one.
This is my second review, and I received an answer to the first one, but guess what? Generic message sent to all bad reviews. No one cares, no one answers your messages with a sense of responsibility.
They said you can cancel your order, but that’s not true. After you put the order, it cannot be cancelled. They said you can change the delivery company, but that’s not true; you can’t, unless you create a new another order. They also cannot send you a refund.
The only thing we can do, since I paid with PayPal, is open a dispute and try to get the money back.
Also, it’s time to open a case/dispute with the ECC (European Customer Center) because this behaviour needs to be punished. This company is a SCAM!
I’ll open as many reviews as I can to warn others like me to stop buying from this store.

Website is saying my order is both

- Out of stock.
- Was posted by Royal Mail on the 21st October.

Which is it?

Impossible to find an email address or telephone number to contact.

Please contact me to rectify, if you are out of stock, just tell me and refund me.

Website is also a nuisance to log in to.

UPDATE.

your canned answer dosnt answer my problem. Im not complsining about a slow delivery. Your system is say both this item is out of sto ck, but also it was dispatched 8 days ago.

Difficult to deal with and slow to respond

Ordered some running shoes which were reasonably priced and arrived in good time.

Unfortunately they were faulty and I requested a return label and a replacement.

It is now five days later and I still don't know how to return the items.

A further email to customer support at least told me they 'don't send replacements' for faulty goods and that I would need to re-purchase.

Given that I haven't had instructions about how to return the shoes and that no refund has appeared in my account I think it highly unlikely I will try again.

Frustratingly they cannot be contacted by telephone.

Not worth the hassle. 3 stars might be less if this drags out and I need to follow up

Very poor company, do not buy from here

I paid £6.99 for delivery and needed the item to turn up in the time specified, so I was happy to pay this. However the item did not turn up on time which left me at a significant inconvenience.
I emailed the company expressing my disappointment with this and I received a generic email saying that I can return the item if I’m not happy, and this would be at my own expense.
Very poor customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I work in the fitness industry and I will be making sure I let everyone know they should stay from this company.

They told me my item will arrive in 3…

They told me my item will arrive in 3 days that’s why I placed my order but the item reached me in 11 days.
Then I had to return it back.
The item is delivered to them by GLS tracking I didn’t hear them 4 working days later I chat with this Ai boot they said it’s in process well waiting 4 days more than they say shorty you will get mail with details another 5 days gone than I got mail you item is been delivered 5 working days from now on.
Seriously you received my item almost 15 days ago I got mail today absolutely last time buying from this site I have never such bad experiences with any other I better pay extra but I order something within the country I live

Seriously do you think you are smarter than many others by writing such a mail and just use word we are sorry and than you try to understand me that how the estimated time works.

And I got an email about the items received at the warehouse on 21-10-2025 this is the point that I get confirmation on item receiving at warehouse after9-10 working days this is absolutely not acceptable and on top on 21-10-2025 they say it take 5 further days from now on.

Be careful – unresolved refund and very poor customer service

I ordered Adidas Ultraboost 5 GTX shoes from Tradeinn for €149, paid via Klarna Pay Later. The item I received appeared defective and I immediately reported it. Despite providing full photo proof, return tracking, and even Klarna confirmation that my parcel was delivered to their warehouse on 28 October 2025, Tradeinn has still not processed my refund.

Their customer service keeps sending automated replies like “refunds are automated through Klarna” while refusing to take any responsibility. This is not true, as Klarna clearly states that refunds must first be confirmed by the merchant.

I am now forced to escalate this through EU consumer protection (Directive 2011/83/EU) and the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net) to get back what I am legally entitled to.

⚠️ Be very careful when ordering from Tradeinn group (Runnerinn, Snowinn, Trekinn, etc.) — if anything goes wrong, you might face weeks of delay and a complete lack of accountability.

I will update this review if they finally process my refund.

Damaged shoe delivery, no return possibility

If something is wrong with your delivery, this company is the worst I have ever seen. There is no way to come in contact with a Customer service!

I bought new assics running shoes. At the time of delivery I saw the assics box was damaged. After openingthe box I saw the laces were damaged, and last but not least the shoes were already USED. There were clear traces of sand and dust on the shoes and the soul of both shoes. This is absolutely ridiculous! So I emailed the customer services. Got first some unclear messages. It took a while before they respond. Never clear. Asking for more pictures, more info, the advice to upload on the website. All very unclear. It has been two and half month ago, and now I had a respons of a person. This person said my case is closed since the time to return the product is 30 days and is over. With open mouth I have read this response. It is an absolute scam!
Abondening customers to their fate.

Do not trust this company. It is a high risk if you experience problems with your delivery. They will not help or pay you back. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE!

Very slow delivery and the return takes…

Very slow delivery and the return takes even longer the cost of return shipping is astronomical even though the parcel arrived a few days ago they think they still haven't received it.
Customer service is so bad that it's hard to communicate with them.
If you don't want to have problems, don't buy from them.
I do not recommend this website to anyone and I even advise against shopping there.
