Easily the best place to do any AI…
Easily the best place to do any AI related task! I've been using Runpod mainly for LLMS but you can easily select from a vast array of templates for whatever you need. If there isn't a template for what you need you can easily create one for your specific task.

Excellent GPU availability at all price points.
I do various AI-powered creative writing tasks on RunPod, which is an extremely memory hungry task. The fact that I can get GPUs priced at $10k+ for just a few dollars per hour is so amazing. I've never had trouble getting the GPUs I've needed for the task and they have tons of different specs available to rent, and have a templated system for pods where I can get them deployed with just a few clicks.

Excellent Platform and Service
RunPod is one of the most straightforward and user-friendly platforms for getting started with serverless GPUs. Moreover, I greatly appreciate that RunPod offers true second-by-second billing—literally by the second. Many other providers claim to offer this level of precision, but often fail to deliver due to delays in shutting down workers, leading to higher costs.
The customer support at RunPod is excellent as well. We have our own dedicated Slack channel where we can raise questions and resolve issues, which has been incredibly helpful.
Overall, my experience with RunPod has been exceptional, and I look forward to a long-lasting partnership.

No real tutorial or help. The available help just says: deploy. But not how und where. There are no images in help/FAQ.
There are a lot of templates but no information about which template are old or new. Jupiter notebooks are very old.
You can get your not used money back. From runpod:

Documentation is not good enough. Log files don't update properly so I spent $2.50 on attempting to request the API. An absolute joke. Will never go back...

expensive, drivers missing, documentation not working
I wanted to use runpod to rund Mixtral via OLLAMA. This did not work, because the tutorial RunPod provides is wrong. The drivers needed for the GPU are missing and can't be installed. All in all a frustrating experience and a big waste of money.

Great Support
Been using Runpod for about 6-8 months to power an application with hundreds of thousands of users. Overall, the service has been extremely reliable. There was a slight hiccup after an update on their end but their CTO reached out to me within minutes. He was very helpful and acted quickly to resolve the downtime.
Regarding the complaints about their refund policy, I personally don't see any issue here. Cloud infrastructure has its costs, and they have to constantly pay their partners for providing them with GPUs. AWS and Google Cloud usually don't provide refunds either, unless your account was hacked. In my experience, Runpod is much better than Vast.ai due to its ease of use and efficiency.

Please don't buy.
Won't recommend using it. I used for training 7 models. For all of them, the cells (cpu process) took longer than other service like google colab. For example, loading a pretrained model from hf. It took around 20 sec for me to load and finish running the cell in colab. The runpod paused. Used an L40. It it pauses for around 5 min. Happens almost all the time. Had to delete the pod and recreate another pod. Which again adds unnecessary cost. Overall, they are theif.
