I originally bought my property off Ryder & Dutton just under 2 years ago and have just sold it with them. I choose them because of the excellent experience I had during my purchase. The Chadderton branch provide the most efficient and professional service throughout, even if you are stuck in a chain that takes 6 months to complete. Lewis valued the property and had it on the market seamlessly. Then Kelsey had my property sold after being on the market for less than a week. The process of buying through another estate agent and dealing with solicitors has been somewhat challenging, frustrating and stressful these last 6 months, but I can honestly say Kelsey has made the process as smooth as she and Ryder & Dutton possibly could. She has worked tirelessly to ensure our chain kept going, and everyone knew what was going on, and what the next hold up was and kept pushing for resolutions. She supported me with chasing issues with my solicitors, going above and beyond to help me, and always ensured I was kept updated on what was happening. Thank you Kelsey for all your help and support these last 6 months, and for making sure we finally got there in the end.
Even if Ryder & Dutton aren’t the cheapest estate agent I would always say they are worth paying that little bit extra for, because the service and support you receive is second to none and far better than other local estate agents in this area.

I dealt with Shannon throughout the entire process, from my initial query about the property all the way up to completion. Shannon was always super friendly and super on the ball. She went the extra mile in getting our final offer accepted after an initial rejection and we couldn't be more grateful.

The entire process only took 10 weeks from our first offer to completion. Shannon made what could have been a long and painful process a very smooth and painless one. We are incredibly grateful. We're now super excited to make our first house our home!

We would like to thank all the staff at the Chadderton office, especially Kelsey & Carmen for lots of viewings and great communication leading to the sale of our property, their would be no hesitation in us recommending Ryder Dutton to anybody wanting to put their property onto the market.

They were polite, but I found that I kept getting directed to a call centre, where the staff seemed less polite (branch support). Sometimes, simply asking a question elicited quite aggressive, uncalled-for responses, which were confusing, given that I was purchasing a property and hadn't done so for many years. I also agreed to receive conveyancing quotes, where, upon inspection of the numerous incorrect documents, I received quotes from a Conveyancing Sales Advisor from a company called 'ConveyancingCentre'. Although it was on Ryder Dutton headed paper. After phoning back and receiving six separate documents with wildly varying amounts and multiple email recall notifications, I gave up trying to work out which was correct, but this left me feeling that I couldn't trust them with a sale or purchase conveyancing. I then received a follow-up call from the Sales Adviser, and when I explained I was going to leave it with them, due to multiple errors and confusion, he put the phone down on me. Which sort of confirms that my judgment was correct.
Once the purchase was agreed upon, we were assigned a Move Manager from a company called Northern Estate Agents, who required multiple reminders for email responses. Some of my follow-up questions were not answered, and they needed to be acknowledged. On occasion, an auto-reply was set for 'Out of Office', but the person responded to MY Estate Agents, which I find dishonest, rude, and disrespectful.
I completely understand that they weren't receiving a fee from me. Technically, I wasn't their client, that being said... There were occasions when I considered abandoning the purchase, which would have affected who they were selling for. If we ever sell this house, I definitely won't use Ryder and Dutton to sell, and I would even think twice about purchasing a property that is up for sale with them.

We just sold our property through Ryder and Duttan in Chadderton. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Shannon in the Chadderton branch, who moved mountains for us when we needed her to. She truly went above and beyond to find us a buyer for our house. She went as far as to liaise with another branch to help us secure the house we wanted! This is exactly what we wanted in an estate agency, someone who was proactive and would take the initiative to chase things up and move the chain along.
