I use R & D as my letting agent for my one property. I had to chase my rent from them last month and they explained how this had happened. I didn't expect the same thing to happen the following month. And when I've phoned and emailed them I've not received a reply.
I would not recommend using them due to the difficulties I've had communicating with them

Alex and Leon made what is a stressful process, as easy as they could!!

We had a switch over of agents as Alex was promoted (rightly so haha) and the transition was really smooth and Leon picked up and provided great service keeping in touch and replying quick (if only the solicitors were as good!!)

I don’t plan on moving for a while but when I do, I’d definitely go back to Ryder and Dutton!

Graham was very easy and pleasant to deal with, and always happy to help. Leon took us through the process and was also easy to speak to and very helpful - and in particular very patient when there were slight glitches along the way. Ryder and Dutton have looked after me (and my property) for a few years now. The only criticism i would have is that the office can often be hard to get hold off on the phone, however, the staff there will always come back to you and reply to emails with any queries.
The staff at Rawtenstall are always very personable and in particular Sarah Green has given me some very valuable advice and support. Generally, they have taken care of everything i have asked of them.

One of 3 estate agents to value my property, theirs was the highest valuation. With fees falling midway between the 3, I decided to go with R&D. Their photographer did a brilliant job showcasing my home, and my house was sold for full asking price within 3 weeks! Excellent estate agency - puts the other so-called ‘market leading’ local agents to shame with their low valuations - makes you wonder if some of them just want easy commission - definitely not so with Ryder & Dutton! Communicated progress reports regularly.
