Ryder and Dutton took on the sale of my house in March 2024 without either of us realising it was to be a marathon exercise, with quite a few challenges along the way, to a final completion of sale in July 2025.

Throughout this extended time scale, all of the staff of the Linthwaite office have performed in an exemplary manor, being knowledgeable, professional and very helpful from the very outset, when branch manager Leanne Randall gave sound advice about valuation and advertising.

The house was initially sold, but unfortunately, whilst the sale was being processed by the solicitors, due to a collapse of the sales chain below my potential purchaser, we had to start the sales process again.

However, I couldn't have been luckier in having their Branch Coordinator, Martha Peach-Mayne, looking after my interests.

Martha was always available on the phone or via emails and nothing was ever too much for her. She was the perfect go-between with my solicitors and the new purchasers solicitors. She was proactive in keeping information flowing, asking questions of them and providing answers to them.

Always bright and good humoured in our numerous telephone conversations, Martha was a delight to work with; a thorough professional.

I had quite a stressful expereince througout, trying to sell and buy a house on my own with various different fall throughs on properties. Laura Watts kept in touch with me and was really helpful and supportive. She offered me guidance and advice where she could. It was a really difficult process, especially going through it on my own. Laura made me feel like I had someone I could talk to throughout.

We first started looking at properties in the middle of last year using Ryder and Dutton, amongst others and they were by far the quickest to respond to enquiries.
As first time buyers, we were unsure of the process but Laura helped us immensely and when we did find the property we wanted Ryder and Dutton, but particularly Laura was detailed throughout. One of our main frustrations when dealing with other Estate Agents has been how difficult it is to get a timely response over the phone or email. Laura was on the case, giving updates weekly without prompting. It made, what could have been a daunting process very easy that completed without a hitch.

Laura and Leanne were super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They kept in close contact, keeping me up to date during the whole process.

During our purchase Ryder and Dutton were excellent from start to finish. Martha was great, giving us updates, chasing solicitors when necassary and helped take some of the stess of purchasing off our shoulders.
