Cold, impersonal, robotic unkind customer service

Absolutely horrendous.
I ordered items in their black Friday sale and a week following my purchase I was emailed to be told my items were unable to be fulfilled due to a system glitch and them selling the item they didn't have in stock. I was okay with this - I can understand things happen. I replied with a fair request to have the pricing honoured and send me a new colour with express shipping.
This request was rejected as they "only give 15% discounts for fulfilment issues, not 50% that the black Friday sale had"
I will never shop there again due to lack of fairness, customer service and integrity.

Terrible customer service. When you order online they take well over 10 days to even ship it to you and when you enquire about it they send you the standard email template. Even paying for express makes no difference. Yet others who ordered at the same time receive theor orders within a few days. Has happened to my last three orders now so I won't be ordering from ryderwear anymore. Not to mention the quality of the shorts are poor. Waistband loosens and shorts stretch out in a month. Time to switch to another brand that's more reliable and has a better shipping process to ensure customers get their goods in a timely manner.

I recently had a disappointing experience with Ryderwear’s customer service over an incomplete order. I ordered a bra and shorts, but was informed the bra was out of stock. Customer service gave me the option to cancel and reorder the items in a different size, which I agreed to immediately. However, my original order was shipped anyway, leaving me with only half of what I wanted and requiring me to pay shipping twice if I want to reorder the correct-sized bra.
I reached out several times to customer service for help avoiding this extra shipping charge, but they didn’t offer any viable solution, leaving me with an incomplete order that I would need to pay extra to complete. I’m disappointed, as I felt that I followed their instructions but was left with added charges. I hope Ryderwear improves its order handling to avoid situations like this in the future.

Customer service was fantastic, I placed an order and realised that I had entered the wrong sizes on 2 of the items, I emailed and they responded promptly and changed the sizes for the order.
Very impressed and very easy to deal with.

Why don´t you accept paypal, you have mixxed reviews, it is hard to trust a company who doesn´t accept paypal in case something goes wrong, i was about to order but just realized there was no paypal option, you are not amazon to simply trust with credit card info, very noob move

Purchased three items. Returned one as it was too big and refused to offer a store credit or return. They literally took my money. Dodgy retailer.

I purchased an $80 pair of scrunch bum tights. Within 4 months the scrunch elastic has been faulty and is starting to create a hole in the bottom area. I contacted Ryderwear who said it is 4 weeks out of their 3 month warranty and won’t refund or replace. $15 credit.
I think the fact they only cover their products for 3 months shows you how poor the quality is. Plenty of other options out there for customers, we will never buy from them again. I have worn these a handful of times so you know they are poor quality!

The products look significantly different to the images on the site and the fabric is so thin that you could completely see my undies. They also have no support or structure at all. I’d be fine returning for store credit if I was satisfied that I’d be able to find a good product on the site, but given the quality of these items I’m guessing that’s not going to be the case. Ridiculous that they don’t offer refunds - probably because they know everything would be returned and they’d go out of business. I’ve honestly seen better quality leggings for $10.

I would never usually write reviews but I thought it absolutely necessary to let others know how bad the Customer Service is with this Company. Please do yourself a favour no matter how nice you think the product is DO NOT buy from here… they will sneakily change their policies without letting anyone know through any form of notice then have the nerve to say we appreciate your custom.
They Do Not offer returns to your original payment only gift cards then when you use the gift card but the item doesn’t fit properly you cannot return that item you paid for with gift card. So if you do makesure your 100% on the fit, colour and material or you will be left with numerous gift cards of no use.

TLDR: They ignored my refund requests, then eventually refused to refund my order after I paid extra money to return their products in perfect condition. AVOID THIS COMPANY, GO WITH A REPUTABLE GYM BRAND
I purchased from them on 13/09/24 from their UK site, but goods were sent from Australia. Seemed off to me, as I thought I was buying from a UK site or at least a UK distributor. After weeks of waiting the clothes arrived, but were all sized way off normal. I filled out the returns form, sent them back, which I had to pay for. Irritating, but ok. I heard nothing for weeks. wrote to them on the 11th october asking where my refund was, but they ignored my email. 21/09/24 I went through website customer service portal to ask where my refund was, got a smug reply saying that they dont give refunds, only store credit. Ridiculous. I asked several questions to clarify which they ignored. Instead, they sent me a screenshot of their website returns policy page, which I obviously didnt see in the purchase process. If I had I'd never have bought from them, as buying clothes unseen is always a gamble, let alone when they are hiding their real origin so they dont have to comply with consumer protection laws in the UK.
All I wanted was my money back for clothes that didn't fit, but its more important to this company to keep your money once than to keep you as a customer. Dont trust them. Dont buy from them. Its just not worth it.
Similar to what other reviewers have said, I should have just thrown the clothes away, it cost me even more to return them to Australia just so they can turn around and treat me like garbage.
Awful, awful company.

AVOID if UK buyer
Purchased around £100 of items, sizing was well off. Had to pay £6 to return at my own expense and then I was told I wouldn't get a refund, only store credit. Taking to citizens advice and reporting to my bank also but I would avoid this company and will 100% not use again or recommend, may as well have burnt my money! Thanks a lot ryder wear!

Not a fan of the Ryderwear shorts. The material is soft but it comes at the cost of them providing any support and they constantly ride up, even when doing light activity. I've tried about 5 different pairs now, all with the same problem. Even the "lift" shorts don't actually lift anything up and use the same non-supportive material. For the price, I thought these would be better. For reference, I am a size 10.
To top it off, you have to pay to return your items and you can only get a store credit, so I am in a vicious cycle of trying to find a pair that works for me while having to pay every time to return them. The upside of an online business is they don't have the running costs of a brick and mortar, so it would be nice to see these benefits passed onto their customers in the way of free returns, or at the very very least, a proper refund.
Irrespective of all the above, the thing that really bothered me about this whole experience was that they were not upfront and clear on their website about there being a cost to return items. If I had known this, I never would have purchased in the first place. I contacted customer support once I found out and their response was that they state it in their FAQs. However, what they didn't point out was that to get to their FAQs, you have to leave the returns page and go to the FAQ page then look for this question specifically. I have noticed since my original message, the returns page now states there is a charge to the customer of $7.95, but this was not the case when I purchased. Their returns page still does however state that to do a return: "All you’ll need is your order number and email address, which you can find in your order confirmation email" which is simply not true. You also need a credit card to pay for the return.

Giving one star if I could I’d give zero ! Shop elsewhere ! Three pairs of ripped leggings all I’ve recieved are gift cards that take your order then tell you they’re not in stock a you have to fight to receive another gift card !! I bought a faulty item !! It’s not fit for purpose intended , so I’m entitled to a full refund !! Still haven’t got it . Save yourself the hassle , 2 weeks of emails an 2 customer service agents give you the same auto response with no refund . Terrible customer service and quality clothes matches the terrible service !!

I recently had a disappointing experience with Ryderwear. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but their sudden change in the return policy has made things much more inconvenient. They used to offer refunds, but now returns are only eligible for a gift card, which feels restrictive and less customer-friendly. This change wasn’t well-communicated, and I only found out after attempting to return an item. It’s frustrating, as I prefer the flexibility of a refund, and I’m now forced to make future purchases instead. It feels like the company is prioritizing their bottom line over customer satisfaction.

I’m so upset because 4 out of the 6 leggings that I bought from Ryderwear ripped within a few months after purchasing. This is unfortunate, because I love the fit and their design but they are Definitely Not durable, and they’re pretty expensive. $80 a legging isn’t cheap.
I’m size 2-4 athlete and so I wear a size small, and these leggings definitely do not hold up to athletic activities. Today I was doing strength training for my legs and they ripped in the middle of me doing hip thrusts, in the back of the crotch. So embarrassing, annoyed and disappointed.

The website does not offer refunds. It is not possible to find clear information about it on their website. If I had known they didn't give money back, I would never have shopped on their website. I feel very cheated.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS. Breaking UK law and distance selling regulations. Advertise 30 day hassle free returns yet don't offer refunds. This is bizarre for distance selling I cannot see/feel the items hence why distance selling regulations exist. Given a gift card for sub par products. I want a full refund of MY money. Again DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Don’t believe their 5 star reviews!!! They are not an honest brand and only record the 5 star reviews from customers. I have made many reviews positive and negative and have noticed they only post the high reviews. I have receipts.... kept screenshots of all my reviews. I have given up buying on this brand. I like to be honest about the product and like to read honest feedback and reviews from other customers. Their quality is average and not for someone who is active at the gym. More interested in mass production than quality. Very cheaply made! Nobody wants leggings that you constantly have to pull up during workouts or constantly rides up around the legs.
