On 11/11 I ordered a childs' rocking horse. On 13/11 it was delivered. On Thursday 14/11 I contacted customer services to inform them it was faulty and I had changed my mind and wsnted a full refund. The sadle and the horses back were lumpy, not flat, therefore not suitable for my young grandson. I requested a full refund as I would buy him something else. The advisor asked me to provide photos, which I immediately did.Today, Friday 15/11 I have been notified that my email and photos are with theur production team and "they have up to 12 working days to achieve a resolution" so counting today as day 1, thst means they have up to Monday 2/12 before they agree to refund me. Then I would need to wait for the refund to reach my bank accound. So almost 4 weeks from giving them my money, to getting it back. Its absolutely not good enough. I'm a pensioner on a fixed income, I can't afford to buy an alternative present until I get my refund so I really do need a quicker resolution than this. I hope potential customers take this on board when deciding to make a purchase. I will gladly upgrade if this can be resolved quickly. I will keep this review updated either way

Poor show Ryman!
I recently placed an order with this company, was given an onscreen 'Thank You' and an order number, but no confirmatory email was sent.
On checking the tracking of my order on the website, there was no record of that order apparently! However, on checking with my bank, they found that the payment was pending for the exact amount of my order.
I have sent four emails to Ryman in an attempt to find out what is going on, and I have not had a single reply. The company says it has customers best care in mind at all times. I certainly cannot agree on this occasion and desperately require the goods ordered.

Now placed 3 orders for Reallyusefulboxes in bulk. The first failed and had to be refunded after 2 weeks of issues. Second arrived on the back of a very questionable courier van with boxes in tatty condition. 3rd is now 3 weeks into not arriving. Clearly the depot is a shambles and the front online operation is not supported by the back office operation. Maybe this is ok for consumers wanting stationary, but for B2B this is unacceptable.

I just wanted to say how impressed I have been with Ryman customer service over the last two days. I ordered an item online which had a manufacturing fault. I contacted Ryman and they had the faulty item collected and a new one with me the next day. Excellent communication throughout. I really couldn’t have asked for more.

I have just wasted an hour trying to collect an item ordered yesterday for a store in The Strand which has been closed for a month. I even have a collection email. It may or may not have been dispatched to my house. Or to the closed shop?
Only nasty people shopping in Cambridge…
I had such fun shopping in Cambridge this afternoon until I went to Rymans. Everyone had been really kind and funny. Not Rymans. I walked in to see 3 customers waiting and nobody serving. We could not find anyone to serve us. At the back of the shop there was an angry looking woman. Its seems a permanent fixture. I imagine she bullies her colleague. Who appeared and was kind.
Hayley bit of a miserable person. I expect she never smiles. She refused to serve me and was very rude. So different from all the kind staff who had served me all day at John Lewis Sainsbury's Boots Superdrug. All lovely. Rymans I will never set foot in again. Please check Hayley not bullying her colleague at least. I think Rymans will leave the high Street soon. Even faster if Hayleys are allowed to be miserable.
I will remember all the lovely kind and funny people in Cambridge shops. Rymans is the only blot or stain. But don't worry I will get my stationery other places from now on.
Bath Rymans - great staff!
Shopping in-store is all about the staff. After all, it's easier to stay at home and shop online. Bath Rymans gets top marks for staff kindness and helpfulness. I'm pretty ancient and not very mobile. The grandchildren had a fiver each to spend and I knew we'd be there a while. I asked for a chair and a chair was immediately supplied by a kind young woman. It seems like a small detail but it's so important! It meant I could relax, look after all the bags, while the kids took their time choosing without me hobbling behind them. It was great, thanks Rymans for a nice shopping experience. You should be proud of your staff!
Unacceptable: horrid (non-)delivery experience
I ordered over £130 in goods from Ryman's on May 26th and could find no free delivery slot to apply for free delivery on the web page, which meant that the goods were to be delivered to me on May 31st. When on the morning of May 31st, no one at Rymans could tell me when my shipment would be delivered (any time until 9pm!), and I had to go out that evening, I asked for the delivery to be on June 1st. Again, on the morning of June 1st, no one in Ryman's Customer Service office could tell me what time the delivery would come, so I stayed home all day and evening waiting for the delivery. Still, it didn't come. So now tomorrow is Sunday and I must wait until Monday to reapply for delivery. This is unacceptable and horrendous non-service.
Buyer beware
Buyer beware! Cannot understand how they are still trading as everything is so overpriced. Recently purchased a transparent zipper folder which was massively overpriced and I thought this was a one off. Today I needed a laminator and found a fellowes A3 one priced over £44, after doing a comparison check I found exactly the same one at Argos in Sainsbury’s for £10 cheaper! I telephoned the store and asked if they price matched and was told they did price match but only to their own website, which sold at the same store price. Unfortunately, our local WHSmith’s has gone and therefore they have less competition to compete with.
Fortunately, I managed to fix our old laminator but found the identical fellows one even cheaper on Amazon. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Ryman’s again. 😡

Superb customer service representative
I called 1 week ago to reserve an epsom expression 2200 printer. I reserved over the phone with a lovely girl who was very professional and helpful. This was the Chiswick branch of London UK. She upon meeting here was very cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable, aware of security within the store and an excellent sales lady. It is the third time I have brought a printer over the years and to be honest I can't recommend this store enough. I sincerely hope that management take not of this review to give this lady a bonus or reward for here excellent customer service. I will be going to get more ink from this person at a later date.

They lie about delivery services
I have given two starts only because I received my order. I paid for next day courier with Ryman Essentials Online Print Shop for some A2 and A4 card prints. I did not receive it the next day. I was messed about a lot; told to email several addresses, I was told they couldn't find my order using my order number as it was too short. It seems there are many different sections to Rymans and they don't communicate much with each other. I will not order from them again it was a stressful experience. I asked for a refund for my delivery as I did not get it the next day I got it 4 days later and they argued they don't do next day delivery they only do a normal 3-5 working day delivery this is very odd as I paid for next day courier and you can see it displayed on my receipt.

Absolutely terrible delivery service. I would not use them again. It’s a shame because I like rymans but the delivery service that is used, Yodel is extremely unreliable, they say they tried to deliver but have not even bothered. My advice to everyone, is DO NOT USE Rymans FOR ONLINE DELIVERY. P
