Safelite replaced my windshield and suggested a cabin air filter replacement, to which I agreed. Now, my blower motor is making a noise. There is no way to contact the store to get it fixed. I had to schedule a warranty repair online and take another half day from work to have them fix the problem that they created. I've taken 3 cars to Safelite for glass repair in the past and they have done good work. This no phone number to contact the store, however, means I won't be back.

We had a side window in our truck broken by a rock while traveling to a horse show. The good thing was that there was a Safelite dealer near by and we could get an appointment in just a couple of days to have it replaced. The bad things were that those lost one of the mats in the truck and refused to replace it. I contacted Customer Service and they said the dealer said they didn't loose it but they would have them call me to discuss. They never did. I am absolutely certain they took the mat out to sweep up broken glass and missed putting it back. I clean the truck before each show so I know it was there when I took it and was not when I got it back. We're only talking about $25 to replace which was 5% of what I spent but they refused to address it. My other concern was that they seemed pretty expensive but I was desperate and glad to find someone that would replace it right away. Follow-up from Company response below. I contacted them "so they could help" as stated and they did not respond to that either.

Repair tech came was there about 5 minutes fixing a chip on the windshield. When he was done, you couldn't see much of a difference. He came to the door and said, I'm finished, "that will never Crack or spider out". 200 bucks and 2 days later. It was all the way across the windshield. When I called they said they would credit the 200 dollars towards the windshield replacement. Just so happens they are 200 dollars higher than every other place I called. I'm not giving more money to a place that just scammed me for 200 dollars. Just seems crooked to me. I'll have it fixed somewhere that would have been honest and just have replaced it for the 1000 bucks in the first place.

My windshield was replaced but the tech broke 4 adjacent pieces but no one told me until one fell off. I filed a claim and the pieces were replaced. One of new pieces fell off again and I asked for a replacement. A tech stopped by to take a look and that was weeks ago. I am still waiting for someone to contact me. They will not answer the phone or respond to emails. This is the last time that I will use Safelite.

Scheduled and prepaid 5 days in advance for a windshield replacement with them coming to my home. Appointment was for Saturday morning between 7 & 11 am. Got a call at 6:20 Saturday morning that I would have to bring the car to their shop because of the size of the windshield. They already ran my credit card. They should have known when I scheduled it if it would have to be in their shop.
I WILL NEVER USE SAFELITE AUTOGLASS AGAIN!!!

On june 17, I had my appointment scheduled for my windshield replacement due to a limb cracking in during a storm. I cannot say enough good things about the technician who came out. He worked in the heat, then it started raining, but he stuck with it till he got it done. He did an amazing job. I have used Safelite before and always have had a wonderful experience. Thank you Safelite.

I got 3 quotes online for a repair of a nick in my windshield and needed to understand the difference in the quotes and prices. Of course AI could not help me. Thank goodness I was frustrated enough to search and find the Glass Doctor and a human answered the phone, quoted the price and sent me an awesome technician who actually saw a second nick and fixed it at no additional cost. The lack of being able to speak to a person did it for me. Always going to recommend and call the Glass Doctor!

Do not do service with this company. I had to reschedule three times with them. First due to incliment weather and it was sunshine and rainbows not a cloud in sight. Hours of my day wasted. So I decided to drive 30 miles out of my way to lithia springs location on my day off- im a nurse, and those days off come sparingly. I get to the shop and I’m sitting there for about 15 minutes before someone even greets me to break the bad news that they do not have the correct glass in shop. So an hour and a half in the car, time wasted, gas wasted, which isn’t cheap. They reschedule me to a mobile app two days later. They never tell me that the glass that’s needed for my car is going to be an additional 377 bucks on top of the 508 I’ve already paid. So today, I wait around from 12-3 finally a union city technician comes. Tells me I still owe 377. I told him I called 1800 8514527 to clarify that I’m paid in full- the customer service line indeed says I do not owe additional. They technician and their manager or shop lead- Alexis- says they can’t do the work unless I pay the 377. I say absolutely not, and I need a managers number. I will be telling all of my friends and family to use local business and to never use safelite again. They wasted three of my off days, and I had the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. And now I have to still deal with having a broken windshield until I figure out where to do service with. It certainly won’t be here

I had my front windshield replaced today. The technician came an began taking pictures 15-20 minutes after he arrived and was in my car. He pointed out my rear view camera cover was broken. It wasn't broken when I went to work at 4:30am or when I returned at 9:00am. No one was in the car and I never touched it. He was confrontational, "You think I did it?" It wasn't broken yesterday or today and with those little clips on these backroads...They would have been lost in the dash and/or I would have heard the cover rattling. Safelite refuses to fix it and speaking with their rude customer service agents, I would advise you to go somewhere else. There are much more professional and well mannered companies.

Safelite replaced my front windshield, but in the process, they broke my wiper linkage so I did not have a working driver side wiper. I tried to work with them directly emailing the store manager, going back to the store, emailing and talking with their customer care department to no avail. Before Safelite worked on my car, my wipers worked fine. There was no abnormal wear and tear. They worked flawlessly through heavy rains and heavy snow. The technician worked on my car for about 24 minutes before he called me over to show me he had snapped the threaded bolt in the spindle rod and its corresponding nut. Before then he did not report any problems with my wiper linkage. I filed with the Better Business Bureau, but they continued to deny their liability. I will not use Safelite again especially the Bridgeport location. Save yourself time money and frustration and use another autoglass replacement company.

They used to be reliable. Now you get stuck on a website, appointments a week out, and no communication the day of the appointment. And when they screw up, they refuse to work with you. Never again. They cost me 2 days work.

The technician came on time and was pleasant and did explain the process.
I had two nicks on the front windshield. One was about 1 1/2", the other about 5/8".
The smaller nick looks the same after the service as it was before. The larger nick does show some improvement, but it is still very noticeable.
The technician spent about 15 minutes on the service, and I paid the quoted price of $213.75 .
I am disappointed with the result, (especially considering the price paid) and cannot recommend Safelite as a good place to get nicks repairs on your windshield.

If i could give Negative stars I would, their glass is complete recycled poo! My windshield was just replaced 50 days ago, hasnt been 2 months and just cracked. Technician came out and said its not covered by warranty due to a small chip thats smaller then a tiny needle point, but some how managed to Crack the glass 4" to the top edge and 6 inches over. The recycled glass theur using is not quality and theu dont honor their warranty, so beware. They even managed to screw up both appointments, the 1st woman I spoke to sounded like she smoked enough pot to out down a rhino, then when I thought everything was scheduled and confirmed the address 3 times, I got an email 2 days later with the wrong address. Finally after 45 minutes on the phone and 3 calls later I got someone who could speak full sentences. This company claims to be the best but is the absolute worst. Never had a windshield crack like this in 50 days of having it installed new. Will never use these morons again.

They tried to convince me that generic windshield was the same as the OEM one even though my dealership recommended I should get original parts. After some back and forth with them and some phone calls with the insurance company, the OEM replacement was approved. The repair work was fast and the work was great.

The Tech arrived very near the end of the 5 Hr schedule window. A little annoying, but ok. The Tech called before arriving and took great pains to warn me that a chip repair COULD result in a Crack that would require windshield replacement. When he arrived at our home, he went thru the same explanation, again, in great detail, adding that it had happened to his 1st customer that day. Sure enough, 3/4 of the way thru the chip repair, the windshield cracked. He was very apologetic but the replacement cost will be my responsibility. Another Company quoted me $631. Safelite...who cracked the windshield... quoted me $815...same specs on both cause of all the stuff in my windshield and the recalibration effort required. My insurance company, Erie...who has a deal with Safelite and scheduled the repair FOR me...was of not assistance in reducing the $815...I suggested a $250 target since Safelite cracked the windshield. If you're NOT going to take responsibility for damages caused by your service, then DON'T offer the service.

On a family trip we picked up a sizable rock we knew needed replacement instead of repair . Our appointment was in Las Vegas Friday between 12-5. No show we waited at our hotel for hours instead of enjoying day with family. We were ok with missing the day for the necessary repair. Turned out we got neither .

Asked to talk to a person could not get past AI answering machine.AI could not handle the questionand would hang up on me. The Oakland Park Florida location put in a generic windshield which because of the clarity of the glassi burnt out the advanced safety camera facing the front windshield for the safety features in a few vehicle waiting over a month for them to replace the camera . avoid this Safelite like the plague keep giving me the runaround telling me waiting on an OK to replace and repair windshield and camera. . they keep saying will call you back tomorrow. They never call you back. they must be unqualified to do the work that they’re doing. They’re telling me they finally got the OK to replace the advanced safety front camera and the windshield. and they will call me when the windshield and camera are in. Two weeks later no call and I called them advised that the camera was in, but the windshield wasn’t but though should have it tomorrow to bring it in at that point, I said let’s reschedule when you have all the parts in. Rescheduled for over a week later get an automated call the day before to remind me about the appointment. Shop manager called me a couple hours later and tells me. It is an all day job .appointment the day before., we can’t do it tomorrow according to Ford the manufacturer they claim they must be unqualified because if it takes more than four hours to do the job that they’re going to do . I was told to replace the windshield the front camera and recalibrating the system no more than 4 to 4 1/2 . Add to call customer service again. I was told I was talking to a manager and she would find out what was going on. I was told at that point she’d call me back again. No call sent another message from the shop manager simply says good afternoon. Your appointment is set for tomorrow. Before he sent this message, he wanted to rescheduled tomorrow meeting Tuesday to Wednesday. I told him it did not work for me. Then he goes. I can bring it in tomorrow meaning Tuesday, but it might not be till Wednesday till they have it recalibrated the system. So after speaking to managers at corporate and no response and the message the shop manager sent me I had by text. Would it be ready tomorrow on Tuesday like he sent in a message He text me because prior to his text. That’s when he verbally told me it might not be ready till Wednesday. No response as usual.

Scheduled windshield replacement for 06 Mercedes to be done at my shop. The morning of appointment, I was notified I would have to bring my vehicle to them for installation. Feels like false advertising.

I made an appointment with Safelite last Tuesday, for next Monday, and today Saturday Jackson from Fairfield Ca Safelite Autoglass decides to call me on a Saturday to provide instructions that I will need to have BEFORE Monday at 7am, which will be impossible for me to get ready by that time. A Simple question: why did nobody say anything to me on Tuesday, or Wednesday or Thursday or Friday when I might have had a bit more time to get the car ready with your REQUESTS… no, you wait till Saturday to tell me what I need by Monday morning at 7/am. Profesional? Not even close. Courteous? Absolutely not! I’ll call Farmers and find BETTER OPTIONS THAN SAFELITE AUTOGLASS. Solution? Or simply a suggestion, when someone makes an appointment days ago and you have specific requests, please communicate with your customer Earlier, PLEASE.

My rear view mirror came off, I took it in and service was rendered straight away. The tech was very friendly as was the front office. The tech glued the "button" back on to the windshield. NO charge! Don't see that too much these days. Thank You!
