The SafeTag device would not connect right away, and I was a bit frustrated for a couple of hours. SafeTag support did reach out with email immediately but I did't see that right away.
There is a known issue/mix up with the SIM cards but once I sent them the card info the device worked immediately. I was impressed with their customer service and quick proactive approach.
I also like the user friendly app!

The Safe Tag Mag is an excellent little device providing multiple levels of security, day and night. This performance is outshone by the swift and professional customer service team who seem genuinely enthusiastic. It’s one of those rare occasions when the employees actually believe in the company. I’d give Amar a particular shout here - his friendliness shines through while he does excellent work.

This tracker has made my life so much easier! I understand it is meant to be used to vehicles, but I am using it to track my daughters location when walking to and from school and it has given me the peace of mind any mother needs!
Customer Care have been great with an issue I had whilst setting up the tracker...which happened to be my fault as I had the SIM card in the wrong way!
£5 a month to know my daughter is safe is a small price to pay!

Just back from a 4500 mile trip, Tracker was spot on across ten different countries.

Since I got back, I had a small issue with location, I emailed the support team it it was resolved within the hour.
Very happy indeed and would recommend this.

I’ve always wanted a tracker but been put off by the cost however finding Safetag at a very reasonable price and yearly contract excellent value I’m over the moon with my tracker and the app is easy to use giving me total peace of mind .

Outstanding tracker and outstanding customer care. The tracker is easy to self install and use. The SafeTag team know what customer care means. They follow up soon after purchase asking how it is going and any feedback / areas to improve.

I raised a couple of queries. You get an auto response saying they will be back to you within 24hours (which is good). Within the hour I had a response from Jessica who provided useful & clear advice.

This has to be one of the best retailers that I have EVER dealt with. The product is absolutely brilliant. The battery on my safetag tracker lasts for a long time and it is very easy to conceal. The magnet for the device is super strong and it just stays in place. The Customer Service is second to none. The staff are absolutely brilliant, they are really helpful also friendly and deal with any queries in a very prompt and professional manner. Everything about them exudes quality.

I’ve had a few trackers now - this relates to SafeTag Mini.

This feels solid, the last one I had, the case broke after a few uses.

The subscription is ok and the battery is ok for what I need it for. (A couple of days here and there). I like the app and that I can see where I am relative to the GPS (one of my past GPS’s did not show my location).

Really important to me is that I can suspend the subscription, as I will not use the device over winter - I have confirmed this with customer service. I currently pay £6 per month.

I would like to see the option to set the refresh rate expanded, so may be to every 30 minutes or something, so I can save more battery. I don’t need the location to refresh every 60 seconds etc.
Edit: I spoke to customer service who have increased the refresh rate to 5 minutes which is suitable for me, but you cannot select 5 minutes from the app.

I use the tracker for skydiving, I attach it to my main parachute, so if I have to release it in an emergency and use my reserve, I can find the parachute wherever it lands. I drive to the DZ, skydive all day and drive home, and then the battery won't run out for a number of days after this.

This week, I flew UK to Greece, did one day of skydiving and the device is still on after 5 days. It has just gone in to the low battery category.

I like that I can have the app on my phone, Mac and iPad.

All in all, I love the GPS and would recommend.

Customer care have been good at responding too.

Bit wary of other reviews at first but this device was so simple to set up and the strong magnet gives you various fixing options. Where there was no metal, I just cut a piece of tin can and screwed it onto a concealed panel anywhere on my vehicle. In a motorhome with solar panels charging the leisure batteries, if you're able to provide an additional usb port for charging in close proximity, you can leave it on permanent charge without worrying about a recharge!
The app is so simple to use as well and there's no need to be bogged down with a vast array of data.
If the vehicle gets stolen then its location and the speed it's travelling away from me is what will get it returned in quick time!
Of course, the dedicated sim card might worry some but if you take an annual cost it works out cheaper than the cheapest provider of a sim only deal in the UK. So what's not to like???
For the price and ease of use and the simplicity of the data on the app, this
purchase will give you peace of mind and you won't be disappointed!

I recently purchased the Safe Tag car tracking device, and it has been nothing short of brilliant. This device has exceeded my expectations in several key areas, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and reliability.

Pros:

Effortless Installation: Setting up the Safe Tag was incredibly straightforward. The installation instructions were clear, and I had the device up and running in no time. It fits discreetly in my vehicle, which adds to its security.

Accurate Real-Time Tracking: The real-time tracking feature is accurate most of the time, however sometimes the tracking is a little off. I can monitor my vehicle's location with pinpoint surrounding location through the easy-to-use mobile app and web interface. This has given me tremendous peace of mind, especially when my family members are using the car.

Geofencing Capability: One of the standout features for me has been geofencing. I set up zones around my home and workplace, and I receive instant alerts whenever the vehicle enters or leaves these areas. This has been particularly useful for keeping track of my teenage driver.

Timely Alerts and Notifications: The Safe Tag provides customizable alerts for events like speeding, sudden stops, and unauthorized movements. These notifications arrive promptly via SMS and app notifications, keeping me informed of my vehicle’s status at all times.

However, I’ve only experienced this issue in very remote locations and very little accuracy to the trackers stationary location.

The SafeTag device is very easy to set up out of the box and the App is informative and accurate.

I started using the device on 30th June and I average about 100miles per day - the App prompted me on 15th July (about 2 weeks of use) that the device needed recharge because the battery was 20%.

What I particularly like about it is that it’s not wired-in so I can use it to track another vehicle or object if I want to. Because it is small and not hard-wired, I can conceal it easily.

Item itself works perfectly, magnets hold quite strong. Updates within couple seconds, no issues at all. Customer service spot on. I usually don't leave reviews, but this company deserves acknowledgement.
