Absolutely spot on!!! I ordered some Uvex glasses, there was a problem with the glasses which was a Uvex issue NOT safetyspecs.co.uk. This is where their customer service really came through. Great communication and a replacement set were sent super fast. I won’t go anywhere else for safety eyewear from no on. Exemplary customer service.

I ordered new safety specs with these guys which I foolishly managed to loose. I called Dave who had my original prescription on file and rushed me through another new pair. Arrived within 2 weeks, he even sent by special delivery so to miss the backlog at Royal Mail. I highly recommend these guys you won’t be disappointed

Tough, light, good tight fit and with (extra) adjuster neck cord very secure. Lenses provided to my prescription perfect and being curved give a great field of vision. I spend a lot of time on yacht decks and get covered in salt spray - easily wiped off with a damp rag (probably not supposed to do that!) but it works. Great help from Company Optometrist David. I couldn't see through the glasses because I miss typed the online form. I explained the error and the team were great. They replaced the lenses at cost. Quote..."we don't profit from genuine mistakes". Top customer service.

i have never bought spectacles over the internet before. i contacted safety specs by phone to discuss several aspects and was reassured with their obvious knowledge and experience. i think the biggest potential problem you could encounter is the size/fit of new spectacles however they offer a try before you buy service to ensure your spectacle frames are a goood fit. i went ahead with an online purchase and have just received my spectacles this morning. i am absolutely delighted with them and would not hesitate to recommend their service. many thanks.

After Purchasing safety specs last year and having no issues my glasses took a hit with unfortunately cracked the frame, I emailed in to get the details of my last order so I could purchase another pair and spoke to David who asked me why I needed another I explained what happened in in a matter of days he has sorted a replacement out . Working in customer service myself you don’t get many good feedback but the whole process even when first purchasing was faultless thank you very much !

Recently purchased a pair of prescription safety glasses for work as I had my eyes tested by boots opticians.
Once I got my prescription I sent my order in and was phoned sharply by Dave regarding my order to make a few changes(which I'm glad he did)as I don't wear glasses in general.
Received them quickly through royal mail and they are fantastic.

I placed an order for varifocal glasses which arrived quicker than expected,I found a hand written note attached to the glasses case telling me the glasses had been through quality control and did not pass 100% and there is a slight imperfection on one of the lenses.myself and my partner checked,we could not find any issues,anyway the note said keep these as a gesture of goodwill and another pair would be sent free of charge.I felt like a valued customer and am so happy with the way it has been dealt with and the glasses are awesome,many thanks

Very rude - actually feel 'dirty' after interaction with the owner. Would not use again for this reason. It's important never to be rude - there is never a justification. Look at the the other 1 and 3 star reviews for more - the same issue is flagged up by both.

Just received my glasses. Complex prescription but absolutely perfect! I am delighted with them, many thanks- they are both functional and stylish for my cycling, as I thought I was stuck with wearing my normal specs on the bike.

Ive had to take off my prescription glasses to fit into my chemical ppe mask.
Now ive got these splash proof prescription googles!
So happy worth every penny.

I am a senior hospital clinician. I ordered a pair of Bolle safety specs for regular acute ward rounds where we all use frustratingly small computer screens to read patient notes whilst wearing full PPE.

I took a photo of my glasses prescription, attached it to the safetyspecs request, and payed around £120 in total after adding a few extras (hardcoated polycarbonate extra and separate anti-fog solution spray (which works very well).

The bottom line is that whilst I cannot yet comment on their longevity, the glasses just work, and they work really really well. They easily work as effectively as my prescription reading glasses - and in fact have replaced their use at work completely.

I am very happy indeed.

I purchased safety glasses for my husband who is retired and has his own workshop. I had no idea how to do this as i had not done it before but had all my queries answered fast and concisely]. It enabled me to place the order and have confirmation from the optician that what i ordered was exactly what my husband wanted. They arrived within a week which during covid is really surprising. The quality of the specs is really good they are strong and ideal for the kind of hobbies my husband has. The lenses were super clear. All in all i can't fault them. Would recommend this company especially for anyone who is unused to dealing with this sort of product.

Good specs, poor customer service regarding complaint. Ordered the RX wrap prescription safety specs. The glasses arrived promptly and the product is good. However the case that costs extra is pathetic. It is simply way too small for the glasses, whether an official case or not. You have to force the case shut and force the zip closed, leaving the glasses compressed and bent inside. I raised this and no real solution was offered. I was told the tiny case ‘encourages use’, that hundreds had been sold, it was the correct case and I should get in touch if I have a ‘break attributed to the case’. Don’t waste your money on the case, buy separately. Consider other dealers if you want issues dealt with in a professional and courteous manner.

I agree with the previous reviewers. This company is excellent.
David Cross was very helpful. The correspondence was very prompt. I received my prescription safety goggles in almost no time.
Thanks to them my eyes are protected against COVID.
