Excellent team that was very responsive to all our needs and questions.

We used Sage Home Loans to refinance our home. They did an outstanding job of moving the process along quickly and making each step easy and understandable.

JT was our Loan Officer and initial point of contact. He was able to secure great rates with several different options and always answered when we reached out. We'll be asking for JT for our next refinance!

Aubrey was our Loan officer and rocked it. Great communicator and a delight to work with.

Everything was okay until refi loan closed. Now I'm a week out from my first payment, no one return my call, the title company they used won't send me copies of executed docs, I have no idea where to send my payment, Sage's main number doesn't have me in their system, they tell me to talk to my loan officer (wish I could, he got his numbers from me and won't return my calls), MERS isn't showing the new loan yet...

What a mess. Avoid at all costs!

Effecient operation.

Initial conversations were great. Seems like communication between staff is lacking. I did not appreciate that loan approval and documents were m ot initiated or collected from first contact. Waiting until under contract proved to be stressful, rates may have changed for the worse. There app is not user friendly, meaning you must add all documents at once. You are unable to add or update a document until they finally review documents then reach out to requesting an update that you already tried to do it couldn't. Once under contract everything is time sensitive. They app/system is not time efficient.

Troy was excellent, always available and really helped push through the closing with the underwriter when there was a hiccup with the HOA.

Wonderful. They are very clear and explain everything.

Competitive and clear pricing. Loan officer and Coordinator were both very helpful all the way thru. Fast and fair underwriting. Just 5 Stars all the way thru - I am very pleased with the whole process and would and will use them again.

I was passed between different agents and asked for information I had already submitted numerous times. It was difficult to upload documents into the website. I was told about the time of my closing at 8:30pm the day before. At the closing, I was told I did not need anything but my driver's license but I owed money to the title company and was not told about this.

Quick, simple, and smooth.

Charles is the absolute best in his class. Honest, responsive, compassionate and willing to walk to the end of the Earth to help get your dream home. We shopped 13 lenders, the most famous Lenders like Rocket, Sofi, NBKC, rate.con among them, and Sage blew them all out of the water. We went Sage and never looked back for a single second.

Loan Officer Ethan Gwirtz was excellent.
He was responsive, thorough, and always available for a question. The client portal was excellent, allowing for ease of information input. Technology was intuitive and responsive. Altogether a good process.

Made it happen in very short time.

While my loan was sold to another servicer, I am still considered a ‘customer for life’ and can still take advantage of a less expensive refinance.

Just a letter from Fannie Mae.
I chose SAGE so that I had the refinance benefits. Now I don’t have those.

Sage made our first time home buying experience great. Everyone we worked with was available whenever we needed a question answered and were timely in all they did. Our Loan Officer Marcel F. was incredible. He answered a bunch of first time home buying questions at just about any hour of the day. Not only did Sage have a great rate but it was a great experience overall!

Items changed from loan estimate, final cd received late, no responses to emails to sage. Loan insurance increased from loan estimate by 50% with no advance notice. Cd provided late after months of providing all requested information. This makes it impossible to consider other loan options

Aaron Hoisington was both responsive to our needs and he operated with a sense of urgency that didn't add stress.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Sage Home Loans delivered awful customer service from day one. We chose them because they offered a slightly better rate than our other option, but from the very first call, things went downhill fast. They rarely answered when we needed to send information for the closing, and we constantly had to chase them for updates.

After the sale was finalized, we couldn’t even log into their website to review our loan. Then, three weeks after closing, we received a letter saying they had sold our loan to another company with a terrible reputation.

Buying a home is a serious and emotional process, and Sage Home Loans showed zero respect for their customers. I would never recommend them.
