The world class after sales service

About eight months ago, we ordered a light all the way to South Korea. Due to renovation delays, I only got to open it recently. It was packed so securely! However, when I finally opened it with excitement, I discovered that the manufacturer had sent the wrong color (even though Salbini had placed the correct order).

Since it had been such a long time, I didn’t expect much but I reached out anyway because I knew how excellent the Salbini team is. And to my surprise, they immediately contacted the manufacturer, and now the correct colored replacement parts are already on their way to Korea!

I have never experienced this level of after sales service anywhere in the world.
Thank you so much, Salbini team! You are truly the best!

I was unable to source a suitable size…

I was unable to source a suitable size range hood in New Zealand which lead me to enquire with Salbini. Antonio provided excellent service and arranged international shipping with no issues. I highly recommend Salbini.

Glass induction cooktop arrived perfectly from Italy

We ordered a Smeg induction cooktop from Italy (via Salbini) as it was not available in Australia anymore. The cooktop arrived from Italy in perfect condition, timber boxed. Salbini were on time and upfront with costs. As an Interior Designer I'd certainly use Salbini again.

Great Company with Good Service

We purchased a number of Gaggenau appliances for our new kitchen from Salbini. The communication, timelines and delivery were as promised with the Australian wharves causing the only delay. The packing was exceptional and arrived safely to its destination. Great value compared to buying locally.

I thought Salbini was too good to be true when I first came across them but after reading the reviews and making some enquiries, I took the plunge. What a great decision. We have bought a few times from Salbini and have only had great experiences with Filippo and his team. Not to mention the amazing Gaggenau appliances! We purchased quite a few and have used them for many years now without any issues whatsoever. The only time we needed help was when we misplaced the magnetic control knob and Filippo was only too willing to help us trouble-shoot the problem (which was our fault). I could not recommend Salbini enough and have done for family and friends. Keep up the great work Filippo and I look forward to working with you again in the future.

CAUTION!!! UNRELIABLE COMPANY!!!

We were first introduced to Salbini when we ordered a dresser to be delivered in Hong Kong. Due to a relatively straightforward experience, we reached back out to Salbini Italy for a much bigger project: to furnish our new home in Canada. We liaised directly with Filippo Salbini who informed us that we would have to order through their US branch: Salbini US, which is run by Tom Landry. Filippo insisted that working with Salbini US would be consistent with Salbini Italy, stating that “talking to Tom means talking to Salbini, and Salbini can be trusted blindly.” Unfortunately, this proved to be categorically false.

Throughout the entire process, we faced countless transparency issues – particularly in regard to shipping costs and custom fees. We understand that Canada and Italy have a treaty (CETA) where no import duties apply for Italian furniture. So we were surprised to receive a large invoice from Salbini US for customs and duties. Upon requesting supporting documentation, Salbini US sent us redacted documents. The company claimed all redacted was proprietary information and refused to provide us with the original invoices. When they threatened to hold shipment until we paid the invoices, our hands were tied. We had already paid for our furniture in full.

Once we received our furniture, we found that they mistakenly shipped us the wrong mattress (one that was inferior in quality and half the price of what we originally ordered). When we notified Tom of his mistake, he cursed out our representative and refused to rectify the situation. We then reached out to Filippo directly, at which point he conveniently stated that our business was with Salbini US and not Salbini Italy in an attempt to evade responsibility. He now claims that Salbini US is an independent company that Salbini Italy only sells furniture to. Filippo gave us two options: either buy a new mattress from Salbini at cost or wait to see if he can find another buyer for the mattress his company incorrectly shipped to us. Both options are a slap in the face and neither work to remedy the situation. At the very least, Salbini US should be held accountable for their own mistake. It is on them to ensure we get the mattress we ordered at no extra cost to us. It is absurd for Filippo to suggest that we are responsible for reselling a mattress we never agreed to purchase. He did not even offer the bare minimum of refunding the difference between mattresses. Sadly, this mattress situation is one of many tiresome and offensive interactions we've had with Salbini US. The entire experience has left a sour taste in our mouths. If you are an overseas buyer, it's important to know that there is a distinction between Salbini Italy and their international counterparts. We have realized that Salbini Italy is just a procurement company selling furniture to their overseas counterparts and they will not take responsibility for your purchase through your local Salbini branch. If you choose to work with Salbini US, beware that they require you to pay upfront and that they hold your furniture ransom while they rack up undiscussed and unapproved charges.

We at Salbini became involved with Salbini US only later to fulfill their specific supply requests. Despite not having any direct role in your project, we still listened to the issues you raised with them and tried to assist all parties involved in finding an amicable solution.

We at Salbini believe we have operated with the utmost transparency and professionalism during the work commissioned by Salbini US. However, it's important to understand that our client is Salbini US, and unfortunately, this limits the extent of our interventions on your behalf.

Therefore, we encourage you to try to clarify the situation again with Tom Landry, hoping you can reach a satisfactory resolution with Salbini US.

We want to emphasize that you were our direct customer only when you commissioned the supply from Hong Kong. In that case, you were fully satisfied with our services.

In accordance with our policy and business values, we remain at your disposal within the limits of our capabilities and responsibilities.

Fantastic appliances + experience

Filippo is the person you definitely can trust with. I ordered Gaggenau appliances with 7 months waiting period, it came to Melbourne on time. Then I knew I made the right decision.
2 days ago my induction cooktop was installed, but showed “error”. I talked to Filippo, tried to get come professional contractors to fix. He just said: “get your electrician to look at it”. He was right! It’s the connection issue!

Material is good with high quality of packing . Delivery time to be respected

I have ordered 2 washbasins for a fast track Hotel Mock-up project from UAE . The product received to us in Good quality . Unfortunately i have received the item with a delay of 2 weeks from agreed date . Luckily i have some other delays in Site so we were not kicked out from project . Filippo and Antonio were great to deal…

Filippo and Antonio were great to deal with and imported Gaggenau kitchen appliances. Their door to door service was very smooth with clear communication from start to finish and regular updates. They were packed very well and saved quite a bit when compared with AUD prices.

Found what I wanted

I had a specific bathroom product I wanted replaced. Tried everywhere in Australia and on line to source to no avail. But Salbini sourced it and sent from Europe with no drama or exorbitant cost. Impressive.
