Do not trust anything these people say. They will lie to you about having spares on hand, tell you if you pay express that they will ship it the next business day, mark as shipped the next day with a fake tracking number, and finally use a company from a different state to ship item a few days later without using express. Finally, refuse to refund the extra shipping fee.

I ordered a specific part for my washing machine and although it even stated on the invoice, it was the wrong part. They said that i could return the item, they would pay the return freight and resend the correct part. I returned the item. After a few emails with with no reply I see a credit in my account for the original invoice. So obviously they weren't prepared to send the correct part. I sent further emails with no reply regarding the refund of the return freight. I phoned and they were not going to credit the return freight costs.

I had the displeasure of dealing with this person, beware he has at least two websites and the one I ordered from was Salin Appliance Spares and although there were no pictures I looked up the part number and ordered the part and waited on delivery which I paid for express within 3 days(another rort)and 8 days later it finally arrived. I have no idea why it took so long as the box was completely empty! Terrible yeah? That is just the start. I called the number and very calmly said there has been a mistake made as you have sent me an empty box and then he blew a gasket, he was yelling and denying everything, telling me to send him pictures so I asked what his name and mobile number was so I can send him the pictures, his name is Ali and gave his number. He looked at the photos and while still being aggressive, he said he will get it replaced, I rang him 3 days later to check on progress and he started all over again, name? invoice number? can you send me pics? I said we have already been through all of this and he asked when. So I just played his game and gave details again, he said he will organise a replacement again. 3 more days later I rang and asked him where we are at and once again playing dumb, this time I was recording the call and he asked me to put in an email and someone will reply and send me tracking number...a few days later HE responded to my email and told me there will be no refund as the package had already been sent out.
This is by far the worst purchasing experience I have ever had, he is rude, offensive, yells at you, doesn't accept responsibility. In the end he has ended up with my money. Karma is great!
I am pleased to say that I ended up ordering the part through Statewide Appliance Spares and low and behold the correct part turned up today, only 3 days after ordering. Ali, it isn't that hard to do the right thing! You are a scammer!
Terrible business
Terrible business - it seems like I got scammed. They don't even deserve one star. I ordered a part, they sent the wrong one and so I had to return the part (at cost to me) only to be told they didn't have the correct one and offered a cheaper alternative but never sent it and are still yet to refund me. Avoid these people if you can.

Avoid this company at all costs
I am among the many that should have read the reviews, Ordered a low cost part but paid a premium price for freight, accepted that, company shipped incorrect part. and this is when the issues started, I phoned multiple times and no one answered the phone on multiple days, sent no fewer that 4 emails and added all the information photos, dockets ect into the resolution centre, nothing.
I finally got to speak with Ali who told me he had recieved nothing and told me to send it all again to the same email address, quite rude. I did, Nothing, after not picking up the phone I reached Ali again, he continued to tell me that nothing was received and then wanted me to send everything again by text to a mobile number, aggressive, rude. after sending text and following up I am still yet to hear back from Ali. This is a company that you should avoid dealing with, find somewhere else, pay more money, anything to not have this experience.

They are falsely & illegally advertising: "best price". as claimed on their website. Bosch sell the same part for $46.09, they sell $66.95. They promise "We aim to refund you within a few business days after confirmation" IT TOOK 2 WEEKS OF NAGGING & ARGUING. THEN ONLY PARTIAL REFUND RECEIVED. They claim "money back guarantee" & that they will "take care of it quickly & clearly". AFTER MANY EMIALS & PHONE CALLS, UNAPPROVED, PARTIAL REFUND SENT. "You’ll receive a full refund if we can’t source the item, or if there’s a delay and your order hasn’t yet been dispatched". MORE FALSE CLAIMS & ILLEGAL RESTOCKING FEE CHARGED.
3 Parts listed as "available" on their website. Ordered 13th Dec 2025 & express shipping paid. 1 part sent, the other 2 were never sent although listed as "mailed" on their website. The owner Ali insists 1 part was sent, they agree 1 was not. No proof provided that the missing part was sent. They insist on charging restocking fee although that should only apply if the part was returned. Dispute was opened on their website although not responded to. Further complaints will be made to as many government bodies available to warn others about SALIN APPLIANCES shady business dealings & false advertising.

The company sent parts that were clearly very different to what I ordered online and when I tried to rectify the matter they were very unhelpful in their responses and refused to acknowledge an issue. They wanted to charge a restocking fee of 20% in order to send me the correct parts despite the order being fulfilled incorrectly by them. This goes against Australian consumer laws. I pursued a refund via PayPal in order to ensure I was fairly dealt with. I am still out of pocket the postage to return the incorrect items. I would NOT recommend this company. Only after I got my incorrect order did I read all the other negative reviews from other customers with similar experiences.

Avoid at All Costs – Worst Service Ever
If I could give this business negative stars, I would. Absolute rubbish company.
I ordered a dryer pump, and they sent me the wrong model. When I called to sort it out, the person on the phone was shockingly rude—zero professionalism. I returned the part and requested a refund, but just like countless other reviewers have warned, they ignored my emails and kept insisting over the phone that they “never received” the item.
I had to drag PayPal and Australia Post into the mess just to prove I’d sent it back. Lesson learned: always demand a signature on parcels when dealing with shady operators like this.
This company is nothing but headaches, lies, and terrible customer service. Save yourself the frustration—avoid them at all costs.

They sent the wrong part. When I rang Ali was immediately aggressive because I couldn’t understand what he was saying.
Each following phone call was aggressive and refusing to accept responsibility for their mistake.
My invoice showed I ordered the correct part, but after waiting 2 months I was refunded $42 after spending $97 for the part and return postage.
By far the worst service!!
My partner purchased a washing machine part from Salin on September 5th. After hearing nothing for two weeks, we contacted them. They eventually sent a part, but it wasn’t the one we ordered from their website. We had to pay a repairman a call-out fee for nothing.
When we reached out with clear photos showing the mistake, their only response was, “If you don’t like it, just simply return it.” We paid for return shipping and sent the part back, but they never confirmed they had received it.
After following up again, they agreed to refund us and said they would also cover the return postage. However, we received no confirmation of the refund just a short email saying sorry. When I called to ask again a few days later, Ali yelled at me and insisted the refund confirmation was sent. It turned out he had forgotten to attach the proof to the email.
To make things worse, the refund didn’t include the extra postage costs we paid to return the incorrect part. The entire process took almost two months and during that time, we were left without a working washing machine.
I have never received such poor service in my life. I never leave bad reviews, but I felt I had to so others don’t go through the same thing. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Illegal practices
Ordered a part listed at $116.95, received an email 3 days later stating: "There is an error in our listing, we cancel the order from our end and give you full refund for the order. You can repurchase from below link"
The link points to the exact same part, now listed at... drumroll, $199.
Doesn't seem like they care about being reported to ACCC as they said "Go complain to then then" when I called and explained they had to honour the order at the original price and what they were doing was illegal.
Avoid like the plague.
Duped by Salin Appliance Spares
Product was represented as genuine Bosch part. It was a very inferior poorly constructed imitation. I foolish for being duped by this. I later discovered that the actual genuine part was about a quarter of the cost of this disappointing encounter. I would not recommend Salin Appliance Spares
