Nice staff and great shop in general

I have visited the Bournemouth store twice recently. The store is well kept and easy to navigate. On my first visit, a new starter was very helpful in searching online for information regarding a wetsuit product that I was trying to decide on. At the point of purchase I was asked if I would like my receipt emailed to me. I declined, but then it was explained to me that I would receive an email offer for twenty percent discount on an online purchase. As I have other things I'm looking to buy from Saltrock I decided I would give my email address. My receipt came through almost instantly, but after a few days I still had not received any email offers. I chose to go back to the store to purchase another item that I needed. The sales assistant again asked me if I wanted to give my email address for a twenty percent discount online. I explained that this may not be correct as I hadn't received any offers for previous transactions, and I would have purchased this new item online if an email had been sent - but again, I'm paying in store paying full price. She assured me it would come through in a few days. So again I gave my email address for the second time. This time I have not received an e-receipt or any email offers? The products I have purchased are fine and I would continue to shop at Saltrock, but I do feel a certain amount of dishonesty in capturing my email address.

N.B 03.10.23 Saltrock have since replied to my review/issue, and forwarded on an email offer. Not the 20% off offer, but I am grateful for the response and the offer that was sent. Thank you Saltrock (Phoebe).

The products were well made and were a high quality. The staff were friendly which goes a long way these days.

Happened to be in Bournemouth, pre-holiday - and stumbled across Saltrock shop while looking for some extra swimming trunks. Ended up buying trunks and 2 T-shirts as the clothing was really cool (and some of it on sale). I was even tempted to re-live my youth and buy a skateboard....possibly not the best idea at the age of 58! The lady in the shop was really smiley and helpful. I see there are quite a few shop locations - but not anywhere near me in Reading. So how about a Saltrock store there - or in Newbury or Bracknell?
