Set up not carried out. Ordered a Samsung TV and paid extra to…

Ordered a Samsung TV and paid extra to have it set up on delivery. When the delivery guys arrived they said that they do not work for Samsung and do not do set up. Apparently this is a regular occurrence with lots of unhappy customers. I telephoned Samsung customer service and after 20 minutes of waiting spoke to someone (it was very difficult to understand them) who said that they wait for delivery to happen before set up is coordinated. They said someone would ring back to arrange. I pointed out that that wasn’t the undertaking when I paid for the set up. I didn’t hear back so we set it up ourselves. I then went on live chat this morning to ask for a refund for the set up that didn’t happen. Another 30+ minute process and I was told that they would raise a request with another department for a refund and then immediately quit the chat. I am left feeling very dissatisfied with the customer service experience and am just praying that nothing goes wrong with the TV if this is an example of their customer service. I won’t be buying from Samsung again. Shame as the TV seems quite nice.

Samsung, bad service.

I ordered a microwave to be delivered before 12pm on 18/08/20, & paid a £3.99 delivery charge. Item was not delivered. When I phoned Samsung they said it would take 48hrs to find out what had happened as it was showing out of stock. After a second call Samsung promised item will be delivered on Saturday, & email & tracking number will be sent. As of now no correspondence has been recieved Samsung HQ number says office is closed call between 9am & 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Only problem with that is its 12:30pm on Friday 21/08/20. Its a wonder that they are still in business.

Horrible Samsung Service

Samsung scheduled delivery of our new washer and dryer through XPO. Automated updates provided a delivery date. They failed to deliver on that date. They rescheduled and that and failed to deliver on that date. Both failures came without an update, so I had to inquire to find out about the failure. Now, we don't know if or when the delivery will be made.
