Sandbag & Third Man Records UK/EU: A Very Frustrating Experience

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Sandbag and Third Man Records UK/EU have been extremely disappointing.
I pre-ordered The White Stripes “The Complete Studio Albums” box set in December 2025 from Spain (EU), paying around €500 including shipping and taxes. Months later, I still have no tracking number, no shipping confirmation, and no estimated delivery timeframe.
What makes the situation even more frustrating is that many customers across Europe and other parts of the world are already receiving their box sets at home. Some of them even placed their orders after mine. Meanwhile, customer support tells me they are “still awaiting stock” and cannot provide any revised dispatch date.
So apparently there is enough stock to ship orders worldwide, but not enough to explain what is happening with the remaining customers. The lack of communication and transparency is honestly unacceptable for an order at this price level.
I have always considered Sandbag and Third Man two reliable companies in the past, but this release has been handled very poorly from start to finish: confusing availability, little communication, delayed responses from support, and customers left completely in the dark.
Very disappointing experience overall.

For clarity, this is a genuine order placed through the official Third Man UK/EU store in December 2025. I am happy to provide order confirmation details to Trustpilot if needed.

Happy with the coustumer service, but..

Happy with the fast and serviceminded customer service - but unfortunately the package received was damaged and in poor print quality as well.

The Fine art I ordered from the webshop size 28"x28" / 71x71 was never to be printed that big.
I hope you take note of this in your printmaking of - very beautiful, melancholic and fearless art as we all know it - in the future.
For your interest - customer service responded to my complaint quickly and is giving me a full refund - I am very satisfied - but as I am also a Dane ;-) - I will only give this experience 4 stars.

Helpful

They were really kind with me asking for a refund. None of it was their fault. I'm just in a financial hole right now because of family issues so I really appreciated their patience. They also answer really quick. I wasn't expecting an answer the next day. I know how busy it can be with orders so that was really nice too

Great experience, even when it goes wrong…

I’ve consistently had excellent experiences ordering internationally. Most recently, I ordered from Black Label Society in the US for their new album Engines of Demolition. Along with the album tee, a bonus die-cast clock edition was included - an amazing surprise!

Unfortunately, the shipment was delayed at customs, but the Sandbag Helpdesk once again proved outstanding. Dave responded promptly, was reassuring throughout, and even offered the option of a reorder or refund if the items didn’t arrive. That level of service gives me complete confidence to keep ordering in the future.

My son has been a fan of Zakk Wylde since his days with Ozzy - so much so that my grandson is named Zakk! It’s become a tradition for me to surprise him with special items, and even the Zakk Wylde Christmas jumper arrived in England faster than expected.

From time to time, things can go wrong - but what truly matters is how they’re handled. It’s incredibly reassuring to know there’s a team ready to make things right. Thank you, Sandbag!
