Paid £499.95 for an external hard drive, but it kept intermittently disconnecting. Tried three new cables, still no good. Sent back to Sandisk, asked for a refund, but they refused and sent out anothe... See more

Customer service went above and beyond…
Customer service went above and beyond to help me resolve a compact flash card purchase. Harvey secured me a refund for an Extreme 64 GB card which I discovered was incompatible with my camera. Definitely pleased with outcome.
Customer service is terrible
Customer service is terrible. They say its policy but to wait to 10 plus days for them to review whether they will ship you a new card or not after receiving the broken one is ridiculous. Should be anew one sent with pre paid mailing and package to send the broken one back. Wouldn't buy another card from them. Lots of card manufactures with way better customer service
Another Failed SanDisk SD card…
Once again I have had a SanDisk SD card fail. They claim to provide software that can deal with problems on a card but I found it unusable. In the circumstances, I reached out to SanDisk but they could not be contacted. So very poor service all round. I have switched to another brand.
Great Experience
wonderful company with excellent products i have been using my whole life. good prices and delivery as well, would recommend to everyone looking for memory chips.
SanDisk did make good products earlier
SanDisk did make good products earlier, but have now decided to simply defraud costumers with "Memory Zone". This is an android app, and it does work on an android phone. But when you download the PC version of Memory Zone, it is basicly the same android app, just with another name, that the PC is somehow supposed to emulate. When you contact tech support, they tell you to read the instructions once more - then this would maybe somehow make your PC run an android app.
Crocks
I have contacted SANDISK about a thumb disk that I purchased. After five months the usbc has stopped working. I feel they have given me a right runaround. I can’t be bothered now. I will never get any thing from this company again. It was only £21 but for me it’s the principle. Crocks. Keep away!
Customer support it s joke for them
Customer support it s joke for them, I spent the last 2 days talking to an IQ Chicken's CSR.
I had my product registered for over 2 years, and now as I am changing my laptop ,they are refusing this registration trying to convince me it's not an original product unless I provided the invoice 🤦♂️
Not buying original product from SD anymore _|_
SanDisk, inventors of Flash Drives
SanDisk are the inventors of Flash Drives, but like OpenAI when they brought the first chat ChatGPT. They never advanced, Google, Claude and other surpassed them easily. The same here, the SandDisk flash drives heat up a lot, and after a while they become unreadable, which is a pity. They are expected to produce a better quality and more reliable products, but they don't. Today, I deliberately seek non-SandDisk drives mainly because of reliability issues, but also heat.
I wanted to authenticate a 2TB SanDisk…
I wanted to authenticate a 2TB SanDisk Extreme MicroSDXC card because I thought the price was to good to be true 🤔 And this lady helped me greatly and she was warm great to talk to and resolved my query very quickly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant service
I created an account with the intention…
I created an account with the intention of making a purchase. After several failed attempts to add an item to the shopping cart I gave up trying. I ended up purchasing elsewhere. No longer needing the account I tried to delete it but there is no option to. Online chat is AI and didn't understand a simple 'delete account' request. No email address address either. No response on Messenger. Nothing positive to say.
I’ve been building rigs for 20 years…
I’ve been building rigs for 20 years and I have never dealt with a company as difficult as WD/SanDisk. I’ve had two of their NVMe drives fail in less than a year. My 4TB SN850X flagship just died out of nowhere, and a second drive I bought for my son started throwing reliability warnings after one week of use. For "premium" gaming storage, the failure rate is pathetic. I have older drives from other brands that have been through three different builds and still work perfectly, but these WD drives are a total gamble.
The support experience was even worse. When I tried to RMA the 4TB drive, they basically refused to honor the warranty because of my location. Even though I’m in the EU, they claimed they couldn't handle the logistics or provide a functioning return label for my region. On top of the shipping excuses, their "warranty policy" is a joke. They actually try to tell you that the warranty is void if you remove the sticker to get better thermal contact with a real heatsink. For anyone who knows their stuff, you know these drives need proper cooling to avoid throttling, and in the EU, it’s actually illegal for them to void a warranty over a sticker unless they can prove you caused the damage.
It’s clear this company wants to hide behind technicalities and "void" stickers instead of standing by their hardware. Between the high failure rates and the fact that they will dodge your RMA if you live anywhere slightly off the map, I’m done with them. If you’re a serious builder who actually cares about your data and your consumer rights, save yourself the headache and buy a Samsung or a Crucial instead.
SanDisk is absolute Junk
absolute junk. Zero intuitive experience. The disk drive when used to pull photos off a phone fails 90% of the time. I'm on attempt 4 now to get my photos copied. When you plug into a PC there's nothing there.
In this day and age there is no company that can solve getting photos off the iphone unless you use Google, Microsoft or Amazon.
faulty 1TB microSD woes
Sent back a faulty 1TB microSD as per the RMA process.. i have been waiting 3 weeks, and their website still does not acknowledge receipt, even though i have post office tracking record.. very disappointed with the level of support provided for faulty hardware.. :(
Typical SCAM, nothing new
I was scammed out of several dozen euros. The amount was small, of course, but that doesn't change the fact. Almost a month has passed since I paid, and I still haven't received the goods, and I still haven't received a refund. After repeated attempts to explain the situation, I was ignored with copy/paste instructions, and finally, I was informed that the goods were out of stock and that I should wait patiently (and, of course, "we're sorry"). Of course, all without any specific date. This is a typical SCAM on the level of Temu, a textbook example. This company is finished.

Bought a 24TB hard drive for over £2.5k…
Bought a 24TB hard drive for over £2.5k (G-SPEED SHUTTLEXL). Drive no longer switches on. Contact via chatbot; response:
"Sorry, an error occurred. One moment, please, while I put you through to someone who can help."
And that's it. No help. No support. No humans. Just take the money for a crap product and run.
I've lost years of work.
Please avoid this company and their products at all costs.
SanDisk Country-based unequal treatment
SanDisk Extreme Pro issue in Turkey – Read before buying
I live in Turkey and purchased a SanDisk Extreme Pro 512GB microSD card. The moment I took the card out of its package and inserted it into my Insta360 X5 action camera for the very first time, it failed. The card was never used, never formatted, and not a single recording was made.
I contacted SanDisk support and clearly explained that the product carries a 10-year warranty and that it failed on first insertion without ever working. I shared photos and the serial number. The response I received can be summarized as follows:
“We do not provide warranty replacement service in Turkey. We also cannot ship products to Turkey. If you were outside of Turkey, a one-time replacement could be possible. Please contact your local distributor in Turkey.”
Following their advice, I contacted Arena, the official distributor in Turkey. Arena stated that they could proceed with the replacement only if SanDisk sent an approval email. When I relayed this back to SanDisk, they then:
Refused to approve the replacement
Classified the product as physical damage and closed the case entirely
The contradiction is very clear:
If I had an address outside of Turkey, a “one-time exception” replacement was possible
When attempting a solution through the official distributor in Turkey, the same product was suddenly rejected as physical damage
In other words, SanDisk applies different standards depending on the country.
SanDisk markets a 10-year warranty in Turkey, yet in practice provides no real warranty support.
As a result:
I am left with a card that I could not use even once
I am forced to throw away a product for which I haven’t even paid the first installment yet
I have been actively involved in snowboarding and diving for over 10 years, and I have used many brands of action cameras and microSD cards. I have never experienced this level of inconsistency and lack of support with any other brand.
Anyone considering buying this product should think twice.
I have been seriously affected by this situation, and I hope others can avoid the same experience.

Never buy there
My order was cancelled due to a website glitch. I hope they just don't sell on their website.
Item not received and support refused to help
As a customer, I found their support response unprofessional and irresponsible. Being left without any meaningful help in this situation is extremely frustrating, especially for a high-value item that should have required a signature or secure delivery. I’ve never had to dispute a charge with my credit card before, but I’m now forced to move forward with my bank to get a refund.
Do not buy.
Do not buy.
Was bought as a gift and failed within 3 months.
Could not format it at all.
Tried everything on Sandisk web site and nothing worked.
Sent faulty item to Sandisk Uk with a letter and all information but all they did was send everything back to me and yes item was not fixed or replaced.
Then sent we a feed back form for there rubbish do nothing service.
Don’t buy Sandisk but do buy Samsung instead.
Worst company ever
I bought a 1TB WD Red SN700 they sent me a package and when I opened it, the box inside the package was already opened. They probably sent me some defective junk that some other customer sent back. Garbage company AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
