Account closed for no reason at all and refusing to delete my personal information
My experience with Sardine Ai has been one of the most awful and terrible experiences ive ever had with any bitcoin applications ive dealt with so far. What happened was that I created my personal account, gave my full SSN, my full date of birth, my full name, and then I tried making a purchase it was consistently saying "Unable to complete transaction Unfortunately we are unable to approve your transaction" repeatedly. Then, when i contacted support, I got an automated email response saying how they couldn't approve my sardine ai account for no reason at all. I emailed them again, then I got a human response but the response I got was honestly just terrible, they said my account was not approved on the website and wouldnt give me the exact clear reason at all, and when I tried to follow up and ask if I could upload my ID they were ignoring me and not really helping me at all. I then asked them if they could delete my account, my SSN, my personal information, and they had replied but I didnt really understand there response but from what I read they were saying it sounded like they were refusing to delete my personal information. This is just extremely frustrating, concerning, and really risky to me, since sardine ai wouldnt let me set up my account even when I offered to upload my id to support, and they just blocked my account basically completely for no reason, and refuse to delete my account or any information associated with my account at all. They are terrible. Do not use Sardine bitcoin, at all.

I have personally confirmed that your account is manually deleted per your request. I sent a direct email today confirming this. Regarding the account block, these are automated security measures required by financial regulations. Please check your inbox for our latest update.

EDIT: The team has reached out a they are working on getting this sorted out so I will add one star since the issue has not been resolved yet.

Avoid like the plague
Slow transfers, hidden costs. They charged me much more for my purchase than advertised. There are dozens of other options out there, use anyone else. I'm obviously not the only one who thinks this either, just look at the vast majority of their reviews!

Today, the 14th of January 2026, I received a response from my review. This response has come THREE AND A HALF MONTHS after reaching out to them. Well done on that customer service /s! Please, anyone wanting to purchase Bitcoin... do so with any other seller to avoid high fees and shoddy customer support!

I was able to receive crypto from them, though their ‘instant’ advertisement is misleading. It took them over two hours to send me my BTC, so just keep that in mind. In terms of legitimacy, I do think they are legit.
