Extremely poor customer service phone…

Extremely poor customer service phone line. I’m number one in the queue, on hold for an hour and forty minutes then got cut off.. called back and I went from number five in the queue to number four within five minutes. I have a tracker that’s currently showing its position about ten miles of the coast of Senegal, Western Africa. The Motorhome is parked on my drive in Essex.

New Swift Command has NEVER worked.

Bought a brand new £50k caravan fitted with Sargent's Swift Command system. Coming up for a year old now and it has NEVER worked properly. Even the caravan dealer could not get it to work.
Sargent only respond to emails once every 10 days so a conversation will not happen. When they do reply they will only tell you it's working fine or that the phone signal is weak. Neither are true. You can phone but be prepared to wait ages, be asked the same questions over and over and be given the same excuses (unfortunately, I have difficulties using a phone). Bottom line, do NOT let Swift Command be a reason to buy Swift.

As a highly experienced and certified ISO 9001, 13485 Quality Auditor, I have to confess, I am not impressed with Sargent's complete lack of customer care standards.

Several of Sargents EM40 fuse boxes have developed overheating issues to the point that components have burnt and melted.. Approx 20 owners of these devices have needed to replace at cost. Sargent deny any problem and blaim poor installation!! If it was a Motor Vehicle. there would be a re call....

Charging System Fault

I would like to thank the Sargent support team, for all their help via telephone in enabling me to trace and repair a fault on the charging system in my caravan. I thought I was going to have to purchase a new charger, they saved me a lot of money by pointing me to the possibility of a wiring fault. Your assistance was much appreciated.

Sargent Support is EFFICIENT

My Customer experience in the hands of Daniel Hook today has been excellent. It is vital our MoHo is protected and insured immediately from day 1. Daniel made sure this happened quickly and efficiently !! Good product, GREAT TEAM!!

Daniel is the sort of staff that retain Customers (& therefore revenue) and we feel he should be commended.

Non existent after sales care

Having been forced to replace my EC325 last July 21 with an EC328 a fault occurred immediately and for the past 12 months I have been trying to resolve the issue with their technical department. In frustration I wrote to the MD but todate have not even received the courtesy of an acknowledgement or response. Poor customer service

Won't supply single failed camera in dual unit unless warranty

Single reversing camera failed in Sargent dual camera unit . Took camera out and contacted Sargent with the part number from failed camera as website only showed price for complete dual camera kit with housing, mounting assy and cables , which I didn't need and cost £185. Took six days with response "Please see website ". I rang them to be told they won't supply single failed unit unless warranty ( mine is 4 yrs old " - what a terrible customer service.

Terrible support and mis-description of old tech

Bought an EC328 power supply for approx £700 and what a waste of money. After waiting months for delivery, customer support is so poor if you value your time and money avoid. Although the unit is marketed as a DIY kit, their tech support is only happy to deal with an automotive electrician. That's their words not mine. The tech is old, cannot really work well with Euro6 engined campers. The workarounds proposed to incorporate a Euro6 compliant battery to battery charger are so convoluted my electrician quoted me a large sum due to the effort involved. The unit is now for sale on ebay.
