We had 2 visits to Sascrons, first helped by Simon and then by Steve. Both were very patient, knowledgeable and not pushy, and offered us some useful insights on our test drives. Going back to collect... See more

Very dangerous place – be careful with their car finance agreements partnership (Haydock Finance ltd theives).
I had a very bad experience with this company. I lost my car after being pushed into a finance deal that was not properly explained to me. I felt pressured into signing an agreement and ended up trading in my car as a large deposit, only to be placed into another finance agreement that has left me in a very difficult financial situation.
Since then I have been stuck paying extremely high costs and have been overcharged by around £20,000. It has been almost impossible to get out of the agreement, and the whole situation has caused me serious stress and mental trauma.
I truly regret ever going there. Even now I am still paying for the finance and dealing with the consequences of that decision.
My advice to others: please stay away from this company and be very careful before signing any finance agreement.

Bought a car from here wich was not even ready for sale, as it had the "Service Due" timer on. I had paid for the service, two years warranty and went home with the car only to realise that the navigation card was actually missing. After a few weeks of calling and being passed on from person to person, with all sorts of excuses, Ben confirmed that the navigation card was taken by themselves (so no one cam take it when they were viewing the car) and promised that this will be taken care of. Called repeatedly, texted repeatedly and the issue has yet to be fixed. Customer service is awful, to say the least !
As a little "added bonus" from Sascron, they have also put the wrong name on the V5C wich has created serious problems for me .
Stay far away from these people. If you give them 1 star they complain and get the comment taken down. I have my honest opinion which was true and as it showed others what they were really like they complained and got it taken down. Shame on Trustpilot for not doing more. This rating is 4.3. But had they kept the genuine reviews BELIEVE me it would be 1.2 stars.
False promises
hiden one key at time of deal and promise to replace new, on collection gave second old key convinced us as best deal, missing essential car jack and spanner missing bonnet soundproof , new MOT without certificate later help by local garage directed to gov web found advisory of faulty tyre promis to replace during deal . what a dishonesty later found scratches which were plish off during sale NO REPLY OR PHONECALL FROM SASCRO CARDEALER OWNERS
Only interested in selling finance. Quality of cars and selection is sub par, and 0 interest to sell a car if looking to pay in cash. Tried to sell me on warranty about 3 times as well. Also refused to even make the car roadworthy before sellling it, and gave me a car with all four tyres having drastically different pressures, and i found out on my way home that there is a screw in one of the tyres.
I noticed a fault with the car on the test drive & was told it would be fixed before purchase. I picked the car up & as I drove it away, realised the problem was still there. It took 3 months to sort this & much of that time I did not have the car. There was no communication coming from Sascron. It was all generated by me. In addition, we were misled about the finance agreement, which has now been canceled without penalty. We wanted to pay cash but were told finance was cheaper. The process was too rushed to study the paperwork properly & make an informed decision.
Bottom line - I won't be returning to Sascron & I would advise everyone to follow my example.
My daughter bought a car from Simon with full MOT.Aircon immediately required regassing and in its second week it became clear the clutch was an issue. Two garages inspected the car as requiring clutch replacement. During this time we repeatedly reached out to the dealership and Simon who sold the car but with no response. Just paid for whole repair-DMF int spring collapsed and went through primary mass lo king flywheel which caused clutch wear. Mechanic absolutely clear this would have been known about at point of sale. Still would like to hear back from company to resolve before we take via small claims court
I brought a car and Simon helped us every stop of the way, showed us through the process and made sure we drove away happy
When I found the car I wanted, I was initially hesitant about buying from a non-Mercedes main dealer. However, my concerns proved completely unfounded.
Unlike the often impersonal approach of luxury franchise dealerships, Sascron delivered an outstanding experience. In particular, their salesperson, Marcus Edginton, provided exceptional, responsive service from start to finish. I cannot recommend Marcus or Sascron highly enough.
When i arrived at the agreed time to pick my car up i had to wait over three hours. The car had a dent on a panel which i was promised would be sorted to just be ignored several times eventually i gave up. Also i was charged an extra £200 on top of the advertised cost as an additional charge. I was told it was because the car had to have new tyres. 27 grand car.
Simon Williams dealt with our car purchase today.
We had such a kerfuffle of a sale but Simon was very professional throughout and explained everything in plain English that we could understand. His customer service is second to none, hence why this is our 3rd car purchase with Sascron because we always feel nothing is too much trouble for the Team. Thank you so very much Simon, for your assistance as always, Po & David West
Simon was a brilliant help with buying my car very recommended
Simon Williams was excellent from start to finish. He answered all our questions and was helpful and friendly. Many thanks Simon! Would buy a car again from Sascron!
Simon was informative and made the process very straightforward. He has shown the features and benefits of the car, allowing me to make a decision independently.
I'll be coming back to Sascron Ltd to see Simon when I buy my next car.
Be very careful when looking to purchase a vehicle from Sascron. They are not registered with the Motor Ombudsman or anyof the Motor Associations (e.g. IMDA) who set minimum standards for their members. So you have very little protection if you need to report them. This is a huge red flag.
They argued with us when we queried things and then threatened to counter claim if we take any action.
DO
- take time to read the 'small print' of the contract carefully, as they may not make it clear that your deposit is non-refundable
- check there's at least 6 months of MOT left and look up the MOT and other history by searching on the number plate
- check for any specific recall notices, and look on the manufacturer's website for past recall information as this may influence your decision.
Be VERY careful!
We recently purchased a car for our son from Sascron, and I have to say, the experience was exceptional, all thanks to Simon and his team. From the moment we walked in, Simon made sure that the entire process was smooth and stress-free.
What really stood out to us was how thorough Simon and his team were in explaining every detail of the car, both to us as parents and to our son. They made sure all our questions were answered and were patient in explaining the features and financing options in a way that was clear and easy to understand.
It’s rare to find such a knowledgeable and genuine team who truly care about making sure the customer feels comfortable with their purchase. Simon and his team’s professionalism and customer-first attitude made the experience memorable, and we couldn’t be happier with the car.
I bought my second car with the help of Simon who was a great help.
Friendly reception staff and great sales team. Simon was really helpful and able to answer all our questions. Good test drive route & a clear explanation of what the additional £200 charge to prep the car involved. We agreed a good price for part exchange on our vehicle. Collection a week later was also smooth & straightforward.
Awful service, made an appointment to view and buy a vehicle, I was a cash buyer however they sold it before my appointment and admitted no fault and no apology. Their business model is providing finance on their cars they also charge a descreet £199 on their cars, even though they already have mark up in the cars, hugely processed sales process never at any point feels personal, they aren't I treated in customer service.
Dealt with Marcus throughout the whole process of buying my new car. Was helpful with what we needed.
My only flaw in the whole process was I felt the car could of been abit cleaner which we noticed after driving away.
Other than than would recommend Marcus to friends/family etc
