Ruined my birthday treat. I was sooo looking forward to coming here based on the social media pages. Don't believe what you see online. They should put more effort into their customer service than their online presence as they're just hyping everyone up to disappoint them. The only thing that was the same in real life was the decor. I would have been half way to Jamaica on a plane before the food even arrived. no exaggeration! Food was average in my opinion. Staff kept forgetting orders and some were not available so items from the order either didn't arrive or came well after. Another person that visited the restaurant told me that they could see the chef smoking weed in the kitchen. Staff were polite young adults or teenagers. Whilst they were not necessarily intentionally rude, they just didn't know what was going on and clearly had minimal proper training. Super informal, crap etiquette. Front of house staff sat on the bench inside all day. I've worked in hospitality myself. Sitting down in public view is a NO NO. imagine someone getting up off their backside once they had finished their conversation to greet you rather than being welcomed as you arrive. Food was over priced as the meat was mostly bones. My friend had a grey yolk in her seafood boil, why is the egg sooo overcooked? don't you know the timings of your food items? No lobster in the shell. Pure shell, 3 prawns, corn & some fish. £70 wasted. Honestly so so disappointed. We felt bad for the continuous moaning so left but after waiting there all afternoon in hope I was bitterly disappointed. It really was a waste of my day. I wish I'd read and believed all of the 1* reviews on Google. they're all true!! The higher reviews are either fake or made by friends or staff. Sasha, please take these reviews constructively. Your concept is great and really does have potential. We were routing for you to win. Train your staff up to a high standard, make them knowledgeable, show them etiquette, get them a staff room to sit around in. Don't let staff smoke around food. Increase your portion quality or decrease your prices. The cocktails were delicious. The music and live saxophonist were great too. As is the decor in the venue. So thumbs up for that. But people cannot sit around all day waiting for food. Yes we like fresh food but some things need to be pre prepared. It does not take multiple hours to cook fish. Genuinely wishing the best for your business and hopefully If and when these things are sorted out I would still return as the concept is great.

I drove 2 hours from West London to come to 1. Support a black business and 2. Because the Instagram and TikTok videos looked amazing. I ordered a £70 lobster boil brunch which inc unlimited rum punch.

The table was booked on Friday (2 days prior) for Sunday 3pm. I was stuck in traffic I so I arrived 45 mins late so was expecting my food to be ready as I had pre ordered. My friend however was on time. She ordered the meat meal. Our meals also inc 4 sides each.

To cut the story short, the “bottomless punch” was limited to 2 jugs only. The jugs were slender to only served to glasses.

The sides we ordered we were told are no longer available.

Considering it was a Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t busy, I wasn’t sure why everything seemed quite slow. I saw staff talking amongst themselves majority of the time and when they would approach us it was “you still haven’t got your food yet?”

Our food finally came at 6pm- 3 hours late. My friends food came on a paper plate with small sections so the £50 meal she ordered came with VERY small portions. (See picture attached- this food has not been eaten)

While it’s presented well. This is not a £50 meal. It also came with no chicken either. The menu said 4 different meats and 4 sides. She got 3 boney pieces of meat and 2 sides.

For the lack of sides she did get a free brownie (that was rock solid) - not being the one to complain we said nothing, but the final straw for me was my lobster boil being bought out to me in an Asda freezer bag!!

I was livid at this point and asked for a refund. I didn’t get one so asked for my meal to be taken home because I was ready to leave at this point. I was terribly upset with the portions, the paper plates, the plastic cups, the forgetfulness of the staff, although polite they weren’t very competent. They forgot to give me my 2nd portion of jolof rice, which I still did not receive. They told my friend that they were out of creamy mash but then half an hour later was served creamy mash. So I believe extra training is needed on their end.

The whole thing was a complete nightmare and was only offered calamari and prawns and a gesture of good will. I was also told my meal was bought to me in an Asda bag to “avoid mess”

I’ve come home to open my £70 Asda freezer bag lobster boil but there is no lobster. Just shell. It is near impossible to get into any meat. The egg yolk is grey and tastes rotten, I honestly cannot tell you how anything tastes but the worst taste I have in my mouth is the terrible service received today and this is why I cannot continue to support overly charged small businesses.

What’s disappointing is that it was my friends birthday and I wanted to treat her. It ended up being a really uncomfortable day because all we did was complain so ruined the day. I was also upset because people that came after us were served quickly and on proper crockery and cutlery (just like on Instagram and TikTok) so unsure why we didn’t get the same presentation.

I had such a wonderful time at Sasha’s the food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!!! and I put that in caps because OMGGG!!!!! I will definitely bring my entire family here LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

We were truly disappointed by this restaurant - disorganised, unfriendly and very average food.

The staff (who were obviously new) tried their best but Sasha was rude and made no effort to make us feel welcomed.

I booked for my husbands 50th birthday 2-3 weeks ahead of time.

The restaurant was completely confused about how to make the booking. I called several times to confirm the booking.

Finally at midnight the night before they sent me a menu and asked me to pre-order the food.

I texted Sasha several times on the day of the birthday as we had questions for the preorder. No answer.

I had to contact a staff member on her day off who did her best to take our order.

Finally- when we got there Sasha was unwelcoming - and we had to go to the counter to ask to order.

We had to get up several times to ask for things like water, or glasses for the jug of water when it came, or extra plates etc.The waiter had just started that day and didn’t know what items on the menu were, even when we did. No one asked how the food was or put us at ease. It was if they wanted us to just leave.

I tried to talk to Sasha about how stressful the whole thing was and whilst she listened, she did not even offer any gesture of good will.

The food itself was mediocre. The oxtail was well seasoned but obviously rushed and a very small portion of about 4-5 pieces. The steam fish was not steamed. The rice was dry. The Guinness punch tasted artificial and too sweet, with no spices like nutmeg and cinnamon. The mac and cheese had an odd taste we couldn’t place. The only thing we enjoyed were the dumplings which were fresh and tasty.

We have been to a lot of Caribbean restaurants but this was the worst experience we have ever had.

The whole experience was really disappointing and a total let down.

We will definitely come here again soon to celebrate a family holiday. I recommend it!

The atmosphere and good food were relaxing. It was a pleasure to have dinner. Great food and staff. Great atmosphere.

Hosted my son's birthday and it was really good. Sasha and her crew made it so personable, comfortable and the food was really tasty. Ambience was on point and the decor is wonderful.

went for lunch with my mother, sister and daughter. such a beautiful restaurant. The decor is absolutely stunning. staff are welcoming and attentive.

Food was delicious and presented beautifully.
we had chicken, prawns, calmari, ox tail, goat and fish all was delicious and they ask how much spice you want!

Cocktails are gorgeous and again presented just stunningly!

We did order way too much but was able to take this home with containers provided.

Such a lovely place and on our doorstep.

Hope to have many more days/ nights here.

The owner Sasha is an absolute doll and wishing her so much success in this beautiful little paradise restaurant she has made.

Ordered a takeaway today online, i received a call from the shop to inform me that the oxtail wasn't going to ready on time and am i okay to wait or is there anything on the menu i would like instead, the lady presented me with options, the food arrived on time, it was well presented and tasted good.

but for me the outstanding experience was the customer service, you will be seeing me more often!!!!!!! thank you

This is nothing to do with the food as we have not even received it yet but we ordered on Deliveroo and spent nearly £70 at 6pm. It is now 8:20 and the food is still not here. Will not order from here again or recommend purely based off how long it takes to even receive the food. Like I said, this is not a review based off the food as we have not had a chance to even taste it yet.

Sashy's food are so delicious most especially her rice with peas with curry goat.
Mehn, it tastes so nice that I eat it every week.

I ordered rice & peas with jerk chicken including curry goat and coleslaw the food was absolutely tasty and fresh love the fact was still hot. I can honestly say it’s the best Caribbean food I’ve eaten and will definitely order again

Sashasck food is an experience my tastebuds cannot wait to relive! Authentic DELICIOUS Caribbean food and even better customer service. I would hands down recommend the jerk chicken, full of flavour and not missing a spice! On point!!! I can’t wait to explore the other items on the menu. Thank you Sasha!

Welcome to Sasha's kitchen where the service is on point and the food is A1. I had the grilled fish, full of flavour and just right with bammy. I'm not a mac and cheese person, but this combination was amazing with oxtail gravy and Jeremy wings. I definitely recommend her for all you delivery and collection needs

If you need real Caribbean food Sashasck is your place to go too. The meals are appropriately sized full of flavour, and reasonably priced. My favourite is the jerk chicken and sauce, I have eaten my fingers a couple of times as I love the sauce, so much. I am yet, to go through the whole menu, but I'm sure all the dishes are created with the same quality and standard as my favourite dish.
