My wife ordered some clothes from the…

My wife ordered some clothes from the website

The delivery got lost and since we were in quarantine, she contacted the support but decided to delay the reshipment since everything was in lockdown.

Now they don't want to reship since there is some 60 days policy after which you can't complain. This is however not written in the website in terms and conditions (I checked).

Just be careful when ordering from the site or at least pay with a service that will allow you to refund. Not cool :(

Disappointingly slow delivery and poor communication

(UK based customer)
Placed an order on the 19th of August, got an email on the 2nd of September that it was on its way and a tracking number would be updated within 24 hours. Several days go by and no link is provided.

Emailed again, was told that the delivery company didn’t provide a tracking number so they couldn’t provide a tracking link but if I waited till the 17th of September and nothing had arrived, they would send out a replacement.
17th of September-nothing. Emailed to let them know. Was informed on the 18th of September that there is a lead time of 7 working days for production and 2/3 days delivery via Royal Mail-so the new expected delivery date is 2nd of October.

1st of October I send an email as no tracking details have been provided. 2nd of October comes and goes past, get a response saying they will speak to the fulfillment team...several days go by, I email again on the 5th of October, am now informed that the crop tops are out of stock so the order has been delayed! Sweaters are apparently ready to ship so they claimed to have sent (part of) the order on the 5th of October.

Again, no tracking details received. Emailed again on the 6th of October to request a tracking link. No response.
Have now emailed again today on the 7th of October to get an update or a tracking link on a PART of my order.

Honestly, this process has been ridiculous. I’ve had items ordered during this time frame from Asia and America and even they arrived within a week!

I like supporting small companies with a good ethos but the communication has been poor (albeit polite on the days they ACTUALLY reply, hence not giving 1 star) and I still haven’t received even a part of my order they they claimed to have posted. Also to note that the company is based in Ireland and I am based in England so delivery shouldn’t take long...

To any potential customers: be VERY VERY wary and stay on top of your order and the supposed delivery date. My order was placed on the 18th of August and I can confirm that today (7th of October) I still have not received my items. One of them was meant to be a present for a friend who has her birthday on the 9th of October. I never anticipated that placing an order on the 19th of August would be too late to get it delivered. All in all, incredibly disappointed and have still yet to receive my items........

Update 8th October. Received a 2 items of the 5 that I ordered in the post, received a tracking number after my parcel was delivered-highly unusual methods. Now to wait on my other 3 items...

I'm so sorry you had such hassle with your order, this shouldn't have happened and we have flagged this a few times with our warehouse and management team.

The week your order was placed, we were in the process of changing our shipping courier and service, and unfortunately your order was shipped during this which caused problems on our end. This should have been shipped with our new tracked shipping service as all our packages are now tracked and tracking numbers are provided in the shipping confirmation emails so I am so sorry that this happened with yours.

We then had to wait a full 10 working days with the untracked order to claim this back from Royal Mail, which is why this delayed the order more before we could issue a replacement for you.
By this stage, the crop tops were out of stock so unfortunately this couldn't be shipped to you.

The remaining part of your order from what we can see has now been delivered to you, but again we apologise that this order took so long to get to you and the problems you encountered as this should never have happened in the first place.
Hopefully if you ever order from us again the experience will be completely different for you :)

Absolute best customer service

SassySpud has fantastic customer service and the quality of the jumpers is superb.

I have bought a total of 3 jumpers so far from SassySpud, 2 of these for me and 1 for a friend. The material is an amazing quality and so comfy & soft, definitely recommend buying the sweaters! They have become one of my new favourite jumpers.

In a recent purchase, one of the jumpers that was sent to me was the wrong size, as I was sent an XL instead of a medium size. However once I informed SassySpud of this, within 3 days I was sent the correct size without any further charge to my bank and told I could keep the XL size. I thought this customer service was so kind and quick, it really shows that SassySpud puts the customer's needs first, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be using SassySpud again! :D

Best customer service!

I first ordered a jumper and it came in the wrong size - Jessica accepted a return from me and fully refunded so that i could purchase again in the correct size. The jumper I then received has since torn on the seam, but upon emailing Jessica she said she had ordered another to be sent out to me asap! I wasn't expecting this and was honestly just bringing it to her attention. But she has been amazing with any issues and will definitely not stop me from ordering again!!

Arrived (international) within a week.

Ordered on a Tuesday and it was shipped out on a Friday (international), and arrived the next Tuesday. All very quick!

Quality is indeed a bit less than I hoped/expected, some lose threads and thin fabric. I hope it holds up during washing. I had not realised there were different quality sweaters, but would not have mattered since my Oatmilk sweater doesnt seem available in that version.

I ordered an S, and it is indeed a bit bigger than normally, but I am actually happy about that!

Quality of materials is not up to standard

I ordered my jumper a little over a week ago and it arrived today (I live in Ireland). The customer service was really good in my experience. The jumper is very cute and looks as pictured, however I was surprised and disappointed about a few things. 1) The jumper wasn’t wrapped in any form of protective plastic/paper, it was just folded and put in an envelope. Considering the fact that my jumper is white and expensive, I would have liked some extra protection in case something happened in transit. 2) The quality of the jumper is quite poor. This is what I am most disappointed about. While I love the embroidery, there are a few frayed threads coming from it. The jumper itself is a very thin material, which I was not expecting. It has a slight fleece lining on the inside but really the quality is poor and I am disappointed because for this price point, I would have thought they would embroider on much higher quality, thicker jumpers. I do love this jumper due to the embroidered message but I wouldn’t purchase again or recommend to a friend.

1. We do not use plastic in our packaging, this is stated on our website.
2.We have 2 options for jumpers. One being the £33 jumper, which is thinner and made from cotton and polyester blend. The other option is the more expensive jumper at £45, this one is premium quality and made from 100% organic cotton and recycled polyester. This is much thicker and completely different in terms of quality to the cheaper sweater. So we do have both options if the higher quality one is out of some people's price range! :)

Cute but not great material

I have a few of these now. Lovely cute designs and the jumpers seem really good quality at first as they are soft and sort of fleecey on the inside but the material does not stay nice after a few washes. The price is quite high for the material used.

Excellent customer service

A friend ordered me a jumper from Sassy Spud as a birthday present. Unfortunately there was a hole in the band on the back of the jumper. I emailed Sassy Spud a picture of the jumper & Jessica offered me a replacement without any hesitation. She was a pleasure to deal with! I received my replacement jumper yesterday, delighted with the jumper & the excellent customer service

I ordered the shirt 2 weeks ago and…

I ordered the shirt 2 weeks ago and until today I haven't received any e-mail with the confirmation. However, the money was withdrawn from my account within 1 day. What's the deal here. Normally you withdraw money when you send it. I didn't receive anything and I am really dissapointed since it was supposed to be a friends Birthday gift.

Took a risk and it paid off

I rarely try new brands but took a risk and boy did ot pay off!

Fantastic! High quality clothes, well designed and cut. Materials are of great quality, stitching and fit are fantastic. Fantastic price for performance - in love!

... and great customer service.

If you're here reading this you're probably debating. Buy the item, you'll be happy you did.

Ordered a jumper

Ordered a jumper, got an email it was dispatched on 10th March (just before lockdown) never arrived. I had put the address of my workplace but then with lockdown could not get to the address until May. When I arrived, No parcel was delivered. I checked in the post office and no parcel. Emailed Jessica and she said nothing she could do as it was over 60 days. I explained why it was over the 60 days considering the circumstances and still no refund or help from their end. Very disappointing. Have filed a missing post report with AN post but nothing. Very disappointing. Waste of money. Would not purchase again due to lack of help/refund in the end.

Sadly never arrived

Before I ordered from here I’d read a few reviews saying that their orders had taken AGES or hadn’t arrived and I hoped that my experience would be different but it wasn’t.
Understanding what’s going on with COVID19 at the moment I waited about 4-5 weeks before contacting. The responses were always polite and just asked me to wait one more week. In hopes I waited another 2 weeks (7 in total) by which point the product hadn’t arrived. I asked for another to be sent out in express as I had been waiting so long and I’m moving house soon - I was asked to pay for express shipping which usually I wouldn’t mind but I had been waiting SO long for a product that never showed and to be honest I wasn’t sure if they were a legit company or not so giving more money seemed risky....I asked for a refund and was granted it immediately, so not a scam!
Just a heads up for people wanting to order at the moment....
Customer care was always polite and responsive so points for that.

Half the order missing

Ordered 2 tshirts, got email 18th May to say out on delivery to find only 1 in the parcel. Emailed about this straight away, told the 2nd one was now dispatched but took another 2 weeks. Like the tops but lack of communication was a downer

Love my new jumper

Love my new jumper, I had to order another!! Good quality, soft and warm, brilliant prints lol. Both were delivered within the expected timeframe. Jessica was so lovely to chat to, very helpful and kind. I will def be recommending to my friends and family. Good job Jessica! Go girl!

Beware SassySpud!

I’m really disappointed in Sassy Spud as their products look amazing but I Guess I will never know. I placed my order on the 15/04/2020 and have still not received it. I have emailed them regarding my order and never received a reply. I commented on their Instagram and also DMd, instead of receiving an apology I received a very rude response. I also noticed in the comments of some of the IG posts that other people have had the same issues as I have regarding no response and not receiving their order. The customer service is abysmal and not worth it. If I do not receive my refund I will be sure to publicise The outcome so that other people are not scammed by this company.

Update: After receiving correspondence with Jessica from Sassyspud, she has refunded my money back. However, I will not be shopping there again, it was a really disappointing experience.
