i have opened a LC from Srilanka till struggling to get a vehicle or cancelling my LC

Satjapan company with i have opened a LC but they not provide there vehicle as promised also they LC opened with Pakistan national bank Tokyo branch now i have not received any vehicle also not responding to cancel my LC bad company atleast they have send me vehicle or help me to cancel my LC no money no vehicle only struggling please post this trust pilot

We would like to clarify that the vehicle you selected unfortunately failed the mandatory pre-export inspection required for import into Sri Lanka. As soon as this issue was identified, the situation was communicated to you.

Since the payment method used was a Letter of Credit (LC), the cancellation process is different from a telegraphic transfer and must be processed through the bank. These procedures usually take some time to complete as they require formal handling between the parties involved.

As soon as we received your request for cancellation, we immediately informed the bank and initiated the LC cancellation process. We confirm that the LC has already been successfully cancelled.

If you require any further clarification or assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Hard to track bid status and non-responsive customer service

The site is a car dealer for Japanese car, I paid a deposit of 10% to bid a car in Japan, but I found difficulty to check the status of the bid - I need to Whatsapp them to inquire if I had win or not. Later I was told that I wasn’t win. Then I requested a refund of deposit but they were not responding for days. Luckily the deposit was paid by PayPal so I requested a refund in PayPal and I got my money instantly. When you Whatsapp them, they are slow in responding or even not responding. When a bid is unsuccessful, any deposit paid is automatically converted into an SAT account balance. This balance can be used for future bids, or a withdrawal request can be submitted at any time, which is processed according to our standard refund timeline.
In your case, a PayPal dispute was opened for the 10 percent deposit. Once this dispute was received, our accounts team reviewed it and issued a full refund immediately, as confirmed by PayPal.

Paid in October – No Shipment, No Communication


I paid in full for a vehicle in October.
It has now been 4 months, and the car has still not been shipped.

I do have:
– Export Certificate
– VIN number

The only information I was given is that the car is “at the port”, however no vessel name, no ETD, and no ETA have ever been provided.

For the last month, all my messages via email and WhatsApp have been completely ignored.

This is particularly serious as I am importing the car to Cyprus, where vehicles older than 5 years cannot be registered. I have a strict deadline, which the company is fully aware of.

At this stage, I am extremely concerned and would strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

I am still waiting for a clear shipment confirmation or a realistic timeline.

Feedback on vehicle import experience and Appreciation for staff

I have imported two vehicles through your company. Unfortunately, the delivery of these two vehicles to Sri Lanka took more than 120 days, which was a very disappointing experience for me. Normally, importing vehicles to Sri Lanka takes a maximum of 45 days, so I still do not understand why the process took such a long time in this case. Because of this experience, I am now doubtful about ordering another vehicle through your company.
During the vehicle import process with SAT, there were also significant communication difficulties. Many emails were not replied to, phone calls were unanswered, and WhatsApp messages did not receive responses. This made the situation even more stressful.
However, in this challenging situation, Emma and Haruto went above and beyond to support me. They helped me by thinking out of the box and making extra efforts to resolve issues. I truly believe these two individuals are valuable assets to your organization. As a banker, I understand the importance of such dedicated and proactive employees, and I sincerely request that you recognize and retain people like them. They will definitely add long-term value to your organization.
As an overseas customer, I would also like to personally offer Emma and Haruto free accommodation at my hotel if they plan to visit Sri Lanka in the future. The hotel is located very close to Colombo International Airport, and I would also be happy to provide free transport during the weekend as a token of my appreciation for their excellent service.

Left a deposit on a vehicle was then…

Left a deposit on a vehicle was then told price was wrong and was given a new price which I declined. Still no deposit refund it's been over a month. Don't deal with this company.

In cases where a price correction occurs and the revised price is declined, the deposit is not forfeited and remains fully refundable. Deposits are normally held as account balance unless a refund request is submitted. If a refund request has been pending longer than expected, this is not our standard and we regret the delay.

You requested to proceed under 100% LC terms, which we accept. As clearly stated in our terms and conditions, a 20% deposit is mandatory even for 100% LC cases. This deposit is fully refundable after customs clearance in Sri Lanka and is required to ensure the customer collects documents from the bank and completes customs clearance once the vehicle arrives at the port.

You declined to make the required deposit, which is why the LC process could not proceed and was requested to be canceled.

I made a payment to SAT Japan

I made a payment to SAT Japan. At first they replied, but only with excuses and delays. After that, they completely stopped responding to my messages.

No service was delivered and no refund was provided. Once they had the money, communication slowly ended and then stopped entirely.

This experience caused me financial loss and stress. Based on what happened to me, I do not consider SAT Japan trustworthy and I strongly advise others to be very cautious

This is the third time the same review has been posted, so we feel it is important to explain the facts clearly. The payment was not successfully received by SAT Japan due to an incorrect SWIFT transfer, where the bank name was mistakenly entered in the beneficiary field. As a result, the payment was blocked by the intermediary bank.

Once we were informed by the bank, we immediately notified the customer and explained that the funds would be automatically reversed. The amount has already been returned to the customer, as confirmed by the banking process.

Since the funds never reached us, we were unable to proceed with any service. We have acted transparently and based on the information provided by the banks involved.

We appreciate your understanding and remain available should you require any further clarification.
