Scam.

Thought it was Complete Savings as this is the ONLY savings site I signed up to which I cancelled and got refunded for. Only thing I can think is that somehow these two companies are in cahoots or are the same company. I tried to log in using all my emails on the forgot password. When I ring up on Monday they are just going to say (if they pick up) what email did you sign up with.. none as I didn't sign up. Scam.

ABSOLUTE FRAUDSTERS!! They took £29.95 out of my bank…

They took £29.95 out of my bank account, look out for the odd few pence prior. Rang the bank and they put a block on it for 13 months so it could start up again after that. Bank gave me a contact number for Savings wizard 03303251287, recorded message - number no longer exists and also an email address that is a help at and company name and came back undeliverable. Lloyds fraud squad didn’t help me and put me onto the debit card fraud section, I waited on the line for 1hr & 20 minutes & then they advised me to read certain advice pages, never save my card details to any website but I can’t have my money back!! I bet savingswizard dont reply to this because they are obtaining money fraudulently, the company doesn’t exist!! I have sent a complaint to ActionFraud!!

Fraud

Fraud
This has been reported to The Guinness Partnership. The fraud team are aware of the tenant running this business from their home. This is being investigated, she should think twice before registering her fraudulent business to her home address. I have had a look at The Guinness Partnership, they work with local Councils to house low income people. People usually on benefits, disabled, low incomes. I know 100% she will be losing her property

Debit card fraud

*Edit; I contacted The Guinness Partnership who have promptly confirmed that savingswizard have used their address without consent to register a business and the tenant of the address is unaware, any victims of savingswizards fraud are urged to report it to ActionFraud who now have several reports on this company.*

My partner for some reason had £29.95 deducted from her bank account by this company. She has never signed up for whatever services they provide (she actually has no idea what they do as a business).

Their registered address is a housing association house owned by “The Guinness Partnership”, I ran a check using the land registry, so I’ve made a complaint to their landlord to find out whether they’re aware their address is being used by fraudulent companies.

We have raised the transaction as fraud with NatWest, as a precaution she’s also had her debit card cancelled and has ensured NatWest cancel any continuous payment authorities on the card.

Whilst £29.95 isn’t a lot of money, fraud is fraud, and I’m very concerned as to how this company has come into possession of her debit card details in order to take payments from it. It’s important to note that on the same day she had a payment go out to a company called “improvemyimprint” for £35.50, it would appear that an organisation has harvested her debit card details and is providing it to companies to take charges from.

I have made an allegation of fraud to ActionFraud, if anyone else is a victim of these charges, you should absolutely make an allegation of fraud to ActionFraud so that they can paint a better picture of what’s going on and hopefully take criminal action against the listed directors of these companies who are hiding behind virtual registered addresses.

I have served both companies with letter before claims and subject access requests for personal data, we intend to bring proceedings against them on the basis that they have unlawfully process my partners personal data, and have made fraudulent charges on her debit card without any explicit authorisation or consent.

If you’re in a similar situation then report it to your bank as fraud and ensure your bank cancels your debit card, and removes any continuous payment authority that may have been applied to the card. Also make a report of fraud to ActionFraud.

SCAM ALERT!

Made the mistake of signing up Sunday, realised my error, sent a deactivate request. The request was promptly answered, with a link to deactivate. I was unable to deactivate from the link, as a red box appeared stating 'error'. I tried to phone the company from morning, but just a voice machine, saying "hold on, your call is important to us, all our customer service operators are busy". After 22 minutes of the same, i hung up. Tried all day. They took £29.95 out of my account around midday, the bank currently cannot do anything as its pending. Once the transaction is fulfilled, we can then begin investigating. I have contacted 'which' who run a very good scam notice centre. This company needs to be stopped, obviously scammers, obviously robbing people. Lesson learnt, be careful what you sign up to. Be even more careful if they want your bank details. Always check here on Trust pilot. Could have saved myself the stress it has caused. For some of us £29.95 is food shopping. As irony would have it, the website is meant to be a place to save money, which is criminal. How do these people sleep at night?
BREAKING NEWS!! go to Savingshack.co.uk, same company, but calls & emails answered. I got a full refund!

I had no choice but to give 1* it doesn’t deserve it! This company took £29.95 from my account without my consent and because it’s in pending my bank can’t help! DO NOT use them scammers… I’ve now cancelled my card so they can’t take money again although inconvenient the best option! They won’t answer the phone & cut you off after a hour & DONT reply to emails. Stay well clear of these scammers

BE VERY CAREFUL....SCAMMERS

BE VERY CAREFUL....SCAMMERS. I've just had 29.95 taken out of my account after applying for a short term loan...have had to cancel my cards and get my banks fraud team involved. Went on their website and used Google maps to look up their address and it appears to be a scruffy house in the middle of an estate in-between Manchester and Bury. Also been getting spam phone calls from the Manchester area ever since.
Like other reviews I tried emailing and phoning to no avail...let's hope that some of these reviews lights a spark to actually get a response
