I had a very disappointing experience with SPG Funding while attempting to obtain a business loan.

A representative named George Faham contacted me and informed me that my loan had been approved and that they only needed a few additional documents to complete the process. I promptly provided everything he requested.

For approximately a week, there was a constant back-and-forth communication. Throughout that time, I was repeatedly told that everything was approved, that the documents I was providing were the final items needed, and that the loan would soon be funded.

After spending an entire week providing personal and business information and documentation, communication suddenly stopped. I ultimately had to contact them myself to find out what was happening. I was then told that they could not move forward because they did not approve of my industry.

If the industry was an issue, I believe that should have been identified and communicated at the beginning of the process—not after a week of being told that the loan was approved and that funding was imminent.

Overall, I found the experience extremely frustrating and disappointing. The lack of transparency and communication wasted a considerable amount of my time and effort.

Based on my experience, I would not work with SPG Funding again. I strongly recommend making sure all eligibility requirements are clearly confirmed before providing extensive documentation. (sorry it didn't work out George)

Very Disappointing and Concerning Experience

Our experience with SBG Funding was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about how they handle customers and confidential financial information.

We were contacted repeatedly and presented with multiple financing options. More than once, we were told that we had received approval and that an agreement was coming. Based on those representations, we were asked to provide extensive confidential information, including bank statements from multiple accounts, identification, a voided check, and other sensitive business and financial documents.

While they were trying to obtain the documents, communication was frequent and persistent. However, after the requested information was provided, the communication suddenly changed. The promised agreement never arrived, calls and messages went unanswered, and we could not get a clear explanation of what happened to the supposed approval.

The most concerning part is that even after we escalated the matter to leadership, we still could not get a straightforward explanation or accurate information regarding the status of the application.

I understand that financing approval can change but that is not the reason for this review.The problem is repeatedly being told that financing was approved, being encouraged to provide highly confidential financial and personal documents based on those statements, and then being met with silence and a lack of transparency.

The entire experience left us extremely uncomfortable and questioning the legitimacy of the process. When a company collects this level of sensitive information, customers deserve accurate information, transparency, and professional communication.

Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend being very cautious about providing sensitive personal or banking information until you have clear written confirmation of exactly what has been approved and what the terms are. Not recommended company to work with.

Steve was very helpful, understood both what I needed to accomplish and the terms I could work with.

Great Experience with SBG Funding

I had a great experience working with SBG Funding, especially with Daniel Canales. Daniel was professional, patient, and very helpful throughout the entire process. He kept me updated, answered all of my questions, and made the process much easier than I expected.

I really appreciate the time and effort Daniel put into helping me. He genuinely cares about his clients and was always available when I needed assistance. I would definitely recommend Daniel and SBG Funding to anyone looking for funding and a team that actually takes care of their customers.
